Muse A was taken from their home as a young child by a secret military organization. Years of training and being injected with a special serum have made Muse A into a super soldier, a special weapon used by the organization in the current World War V. Now, in their mid-twenties, Muse A knows only how to fight, stay alive, and be the ultimate weapon they are called.
Muse B is a psychic brought into the organization to gain easy intel on their enemies. For their entire life they had manage to keep their very real abilities a secret from the world. However, once discovered, they were begged to join the military to help — and they just couldn’t say no.
Muse A is put on guard of Muse B though they would much rather be out on missions then play babysitter. Muse B becomes very curious of Muse A and wants to learn more about them but can’t without physical contact, something Muse A can’t stand.
When the organization’s main base is compromised by the enemy in search for the desired psychic, Muse A realizes their babysitting job has actually become more serious than they expected. Lives are truly on the line as they make their way through enemy territory to get Muse B to the next protected base.

Ain't No Rest:
The year is 2124. Due to extremely limited resources and overpopulation of the planet, once people reach a specific age they must be euthanized. Upon a person’s Xth birthday, people must report to a sleep facility where they will be put to sleep by a sweet-smelling toxin. The only people exempt from this fate are enforcers of the law, who are in charge of tracking down those who attempt to escape. Muse A is an infamous enforcer with a nearly impeccable record of captures, and Muse B is a rebellious citizen who has just turned of age. Muse B has learned of a secret sanctuary for people who have successfully escaped and continue to live out their days in an underground society. They assemble only the bare essentials for survival and begin the journey, but with Muse A hot on their trail, will Muse B be able to evade them long enough to join the handful of others who have successfully disappeared?
On the High Seas:
Muse A is the child of wealthy man living in a seaside town; they’ve always been afraid of the sea, yet oddly fascinated by it. When Muse A was a child, the ship they were sailing on was attacked by pirates and they were barely able to escape. Although the lure of the sea has always been there, Muse A has since refused to ever board another ship. Several years after their brush with pirates, in the dead of night, a suspicious ship sets anchor a little ways away from shore. Pirates make landfall and begin to pillage and plunder the town. The militia stationed in the town are quick to react and a fierce battle breaks out. With the perfect distraction created, the captain of the ship, Muse B, heads for the most opulent-looking manor.
Muse B breaks in to Muse A’s home and begins to raid Muse A’s late mother’s jewelry. In an attempt to stop Muse B, Muse A steals one of their father’s swords and holds the pirate at sword point. Since Muse A has never had any kind of training, they are easily overpowered by Muse B. Upon taking a closer look at Muse A, Muse B decides that they are worth far more than any bejeweled trinkets. So Muse B offers a proposition; in exchange for ending the bloodshed and leaving port, Muse A must come aboard Muse B’s ship as a captive. Muse A is terrified, but they are kind-hearted and wish to protect their town, so they reluctantly agree. So now Muse A must face their fears and leave their life behind. How will they fare and what will their relationship be like with Muse B?

Into the Beyond:
Muse A is a princess/prince living in a peaceful kingdom, with no knowledge of the whole other realm that exists beyond its borders. While wandering in the forest near dusk, much to their escort’s dismay, the kingdom comes under attack by creatures/beings thought only to exist in fairytales and ancient legends. When a rider comes to warn Muse A that the castle has been taken, they are beseeched to flee to safety. Fearing for their parents’ lives, Muse A refuses to run away and makes haste back to the castle. Before they can reunite with their royal parents, Muse A is captured by the enemy. Muse B is Muse A’s captor, who is under orders from their king/queen to kidnap the prince/princess for the purposes of ransom. Muse A is taken to the other realm, where no person in the kingdom has ever gone. Muse A is locked up in a cell with Muse B as their guard.
Despite the circumstances, Muse B treats Muse A with compassion, providing companionship, kind words and extra sustenance. After a few days of captivity, Muse A and Muse B are managing to get along; Muse A is terribly homesick and worried about the state of their kingdom. In an act of selflessness, Muse B helps Muse A escape. Muse B promises to keep Muse A safe from harm, as long as Muse A does not run away from them. Muse A agrees and Muse B keeps their promise. One night, while they’re asleep in the forest, soldiers from Muse A’s fallen kingdom attack. They rescue Muse A and take Muse B as prisoner. Upon returning to the castle, Muse B is imprisoned. Feeling for their captor/turned savior, Muse A shows Muse B the same compassion and care that Muse B showed them while they were imprisoned.
With the threat of backlash from the other realm looming, will Muse A and Muse B’s budding friendship survive? Will Muse A appeal to the king and queen to spare Muse B’s life and to end the impending war between realms?

Wrong Side of the Tracks:
Muse A and Muse B are part of a tight-knit group of friends who are daredevils. Every Friday night the group gets together in search of their next big thrill. Their favorite pastime is partying on the train tracks on the border of their humble town. There’s nothing quite like the rush of feeling the hard, metal tracks vibrate underneath them as the train comes barreling around the bend. Sometimes they run alongside the train as it rushes by and jump on, hitching a ride to the next town over. Sometimes they climb to the top of the train and jump off into the town’s reservoir for a late night swim. One night, the gang’s party unexpectedly gets broken up by the cops and everyone scatters. Muse A and Muse B head off in the same direction, but Muse A is the one who gets nabbed. It turns out that the police have been monitoring the tracks following reports of delinquent behavior in the last month. As hard as they push Muse A to identify their friends, Muse A refuses to cooperate and they end up taking the fall alone. Muse A is sentenced to a short term in jail and Muse B is the only friend that takes the risk to visit. Muse A and Muse B’s bond grows exponentially over the course of the sentence, developing into something deeper than friendship.
Swan Song:
Muse A is jazz singer or piano player, currently in a relationship with Muse B, the owner of the speakeasy at which they work. The pair are caught up in a glamorous whirlwind of sex, illegal alcohol and evading the feds. Starcrossed:
Muse A is the first born of a powerful mob boss and Muse B is the child of the bootlegger who supplies the city’s speakeasies with illegal alcohol. Their relationship (friends or lovers) has always been a close one, but there is a new strain beginning to drive them apart. Muse A’s father has begun to strong arm Muse B’s father for a heavy slice of their profits. Between paying off federal agents, taking care of their rumrunners, and buying supplies, there isn’t much left for Muse B to keep in their pocket, let alone hand over to organized crime. Will Muse A be willing to try putting pressure on their father to back off of Muse B’s family?
I'm Innocent!:
Muse A is an innocent person on the run. Muse A has been unintentionally tangled up with a spy organization when they give shelter to a counter-espionage agent in their apartment, who tells them a little bit about her mission: to stop said organization from finding out a top military secret. Muse A doesn’t believe the agent at first, keeping her around simply for someone to talk to, but things get serious when she is murdered and the blame for the murder is pinned on Muse A. Muse A doesn’t know what half of this is about, but they aren’t going to take it lying down. Muse A escapes from police custody and goes on the run in order to catch the real bad guys and prove their innocence, from what they do know. Things are hard for Muse A, since they’re being hunted both by the police and the spies. One night on the windy moors, as they’re walking to the nearest town, completely exhausted, Muse A runs into Muse B, and the two end up inadvertently handcuffed to each other. Muse B is absolutely indignant at being handcuffed to Muse A, and they believes Muse A to be the murderer. Muse A takes advantage of that fact and pretends actually to be a cold-blooded murderer to scare Muse B into finally shutting up, when their initial explanations about the espionage are met by scorn. Muse B finally believes Muse A though, when the spies catch up to them and reveal themselves.
But has Muse B come to the realization much too late, now that they’re going to be killed for knowing too much?

Gradually, Muse A comes to see that Muse B isn’t a horrible person, behind closed doors, but the circumstances of their arrangement (and the terrible crimes he commits as a crime boss) make it difficult for her to fall in love with him as he’s fallen in love with her. Each time Muse B proposes marriage, Muse A refuses. Muse A becomes terribly homesick and begs to be allowed to visit her father. Muse B allows her to leave him as long as she returns to him within a week’s time. While Muse A is away, Muse B is attacked by a disloyal bunch of conspiring underlings. Her quick actions save his life and once he is well enough, they marry.

The Chosen One?:
Muse A is the Chosen One and Muse B has been assigned to escort them to the Temple of the Ancients so they can receive their powers and fulfill their destiny. The catch? Muse A is a complete and total jerk.
