Hook ||
Some time had passed, since the dark encounter took place with Hook's dear brother and the apperntly known Tahtll as Cain. Chronos had nearly lost his life at the paws of the other, and was now recovering in his own dwelling. Hook had spent some time with him there, but another 'problem' remained in their paws. The found cub, that had started the whole encounter was still likely in danger and was put under Killian's charge. As much time as Hook could be found in the Dark Caves, it took even more time for the free flying Wind Tribe to become accustomed to such a enclosed place. He thought it better for the Cub to be taken to a more 'open' place to dwell, a safe place-but open and free none the less.

White wings flapped slowly helping Hook control his airborne decent. The Cub, who-Hook had take to coxing into a nap, was still 'sleeping' as he was carefully dangled by Killian's maw, held mindfully by his neck scruff. Blue eyes looked past the little body, to make sure that Hook's own hind legs were not hindered in his landing. With a careful flap, Hook's hind paw down on the deck of a vast and unique creation that had been carved from a floating rock.

The floating rock It had taken a long time to create, and was still uncompleted. It was made, in hopes to be a vessel that could sail the skies with ease. It was a dream to have a place for Hook to keep his vast treasures close by, and take them with him where ever he wanted to go, if he wanted too. It's current resting place was tied down closely to one of the nearby mountain spires of the Dark Tribe's keep. It was there free floating, and still being constructed. Hopefully with time, it would be completed. The deck, was laid over carefully with wood and was a solid contraction and platform. It was one of the few things that were mostly finished.

Metal hooked paw touched down on the deck of the ship with a soft 'think'. Lowering his head, Hook released the feisty and still unconscious wind cub. Mindfully, Killian released the cub with a bit of a 'flop' and distance from his maw and the deck. It was a little bit of a sass for the few nasty little swipes the cub had thrown at him before he forced to take his 'nap'.

Jim ||

Jim woke as he was dropped without ceremony or care onto the deck of the ship. His "sleep", if one could call it that, had been the result of his body turning on him rather than a willing release into the sweet embrace of rest. The tension, drama, adreniline, and terror of his encounter with the ugly-wings and the random conflict that had transpired had left his young nerves rattled. Strong as he thought himself to be, his mind and body were taxed from the whole affair. He'd slept only because he'd pushed himself to the point where his body had demanded it of him.

He woke with a screeching yowl, scrambled to his paws as his claws scraped at the wood under him. His nerves were on fire and every strand of fur from the base of his neck down to the tip of his tail stood on end. The cub's eyes were wild, untamed, and for a moment he looked rightly out of his mind.

He looked up to the offending shadow, ready to face the beast head-on. When the B'alam shifted away from the sun that had devoured his form, leaving it in shadows, the light revealed the feather-wing from earlier. Rattled, and still unwilling to conceed to his own weakness, the cub took a few slow steps back. The grass...it was gone. The rocks and trees- the familiar world around him was gone. He felt...strangely at home but at the same time completely removed from the world he'd built up as familiar.

He didn't dare take his eyes off the three-legged Tah, as much as every sensible part of him wanted to. "Where are we!? What do you want!?"

Hook ||
Took Hook's surprise, no sooner then he released the cub on the deck of the rock ship, the feisty little bugger sprang to life. Tan ears flicked back past brown loch's at the cub's howling. Blue eyes widened a little, as a grin curled at the Tah's scruff maw. He couldn't help but find the fight in the cub a bit amusing, that and it was admirable, really.

"Easy, Lad. " Killian hushed to the cub, trying to remove a slight chuckle from his voice. It was near impossible.

"Easy." He coed once more. The bristled cub was only wasting energy, all of which he could use in helping tidy up the ship.

However...

The cub showed spirit. There was that...Perhaps, he would be more useful then cleaning some pots.

"Where are we?" Hook repeated, his sight pulled it's self from the cub to take a look at the unfinished masterpiece.

"Well, take a look around." The B'alam invited proudly. His smile stretched more across his maw and a single brow raised. His normal paw raised to gesture to the rock and wood structure that was built around them.

"This my prickly little friend, is the one and only Jolly Roger. My Worthy vessel." Hook went on to explain. A little thought poked at his words, from the back of his mind. Quietly it offered up the knowledge that the cub most likely didn't know what he was talking about. In fact, most b'alam would likely not understand.

No matter, the cub had to learn some how-especially if it was going to be his place of rest until he grew, or ran away. Which ever...

"And not want anything from you." Hook let his paw rest back on the wooden deck. His long tan tail shifted behind him ever so casually.

Jim |
Easy? EASY!? How could he take anything easy? He'd been woven, alone, in a place filled with hostility. First the fauna of the land, then the very elements, and then finally his own kind- massive versions of his own kind that was -with appendages he'd never seen came out of no where. First one, then quite randomly, a small flock. Half of them had ugly wings, the others were like larger versions of himself...plus or minus a limb.

He remained hackled and defiant, his lip raised slightly and his muzzle creased in a snarl. He'd not let this three-legged funny-talking freak tell him how he should feel- especially after he flew him up to Weaver knew where for Weaver knew what reason.

Jim didn't trust this stranger to strip his eyes away, much less to whirl around and get his bearings. Instead he took a few short steps backwards, his tail lashing violently at the air, and sent his eyes darting one way, back to his captor, then to the other side. What good that did...for all he knew he was on a rock. A rock surrounded by clouds.

Vessel? Jolly? He'd named it Roger? Was this Tah completely chipped in the head? Perhaps he was missing more than a paw...

"...alright." He took another step back. "Then...why take me here? Other than to get me away from the ugly-wings..."

Hook ||
As the little scamp backed up and whipped his tail wildly about. Hook's tan ears past brown lochs tipped forward a bit, as his brow gave an amused raised.

The cub had spirit and was just as feisty as ever.

A soft breath passed Hook's maw as the cub spoke his wonder. Which, was a very good question for him to ask. It was one, Hook himself would have on the very tip of his tongue as well. The similarity he saw in the cub caused the Tahtll to twist a smirk all the more tightly on his maw. Hook like to think if he was given the chance as a cub, he would be very much like the one before him.

Hunches slowly lowered to the deck of the ship, long tan tail shifted in a flick before floating around to his side.

"It wasn't safe where you were." Hook answered, his head tilted to the side with a little shrug of his shoulders. "Would have rather, I left you to deal with those 'ugly wings', all by yourself..."

"...Unconscious?" Hooks smirk relaxed in to more of a smile, as if to know he was going to win this exchange in words?

Jim ||
"You think?" Jim snapped, the corner of his lip. He knew it was dangerous- he had lived in it! He'd survived in it...somehow. A few days of survival was quite an accomplishment, especially since those few days were the only days he had to his name. The encounter with the ugly-wings was hardly something he could have antipated and prepared himself for. Now...well at least now he knew they existed.

But how in the realm was he supposed to know if this place, and this B'alam, was any better?

"I don't know...maybe." He bobbed a shoulder and looked away. Well....to be fair, it's unlikely that this...limpy McClunky Paw would have let him live when he'd been in a position to do away with him... but still. Trust wasn't something he had become familiar with.

Jim deflated with the final revelation. It was like the gimp was reading his mind...

"....what's your game then, gramps?"

Hook ||
Jolly's brow raised to the small cub's respite then subtle change to agreement, it was amusing to say the least. The wind b'alam's lips stretched to a stronger smile, the whites of his teeth where mildly exposed. Blue eyes continued to watch the cub with a curious anticipation.

"Well, you can always go back and figure it out yourself?" The wind b'alam offered with a grin and a subtly shift of his shoulders.

"Or better yet..." The words floated from Jolly in whimsical muse. His Metal hook raised to his chin and maw in thought. Slowly his head lowered to the cub, a whisper slipped from his lips.

"Why don't you take a peek in one of the spires of the mountain, we are a loft at." Jolly's words seemed to lower and tease at a dare. His head tilted to the starboard of the ship. The tip of his ear aiming at a what looked to be a plank of wood. It reached across the sky, to rest on what look like a cave opening to a very grand mountain.

"You'll find a lot of 'ugly wings' in there." The hooked one grinned.

"No game, lad" The b'alam offered a friendly smile and straightened slowly.

"Just listing your options." The Tahtll shrugged once more, causing his white wings to shift and ruffle.

"We are woven from the wind, mate. That being said we are always free to do what we want." Jolly found himself smiling proudly. Only solidifying the cub's own stubbornness and wonderlust.

Gladly.
