History:
Arivice was born to a loving mother and father in the ancestral grounds of Dyu Vasati. He had a happy, normal childhood, travelling around with his flock until he was six.
During a particularly harsh storm travelling from Dyu Vasati to Saari'Kaa, the flock was set upon by a band of human pirates who captured Ari along with several other children to sell in the black market slave trade. Whatever happened to his parents or the rest of the Edre on the ship remains unknown to him to this day.
Ari was sold to a man who did not value any life but his own. He relished in causing pain to his servants, all the while putting on a shining mask of charisma to the outside world. He was kept in a small cage in the basement of the man's large estate and used as personal whipping boy to the man. Even though his race's predisposition to be small and thin framed, the malnourishment and small, cramped conditions of his young life caused him to be tinier than usual.
It wasn't until his early twenties that Ari's owner finally got what was coming to him. A rival had him assassinated by a Damza who, while looking for something a little extra to take as a prize, found the cache of caged Edre. In a bargain to the Damza to let them go, one of the Edre - the one that had acted as a personal Butler to the man - unlocked his safe for the Damza and they were finally free.
Now, 13 years later, Arivice works as a messenger, utilizing his mimicry abilities to deliver messages all across Svatura. To this day, however, he still refuses to get on a damn boat.
Personality:
You Do You:
Arivice doesn't have a judgemental bone in his body. Everyone is who they are, and he will accept them no matter what. After a lifetime of solitude and poor treatment, he can't imagine treating anyone else that way. Everyone is a potential friend, as far as he is concerned.
I'll Endure It:
After the life Arivice has had, there is very little that he cannot take on. The world certainly can't make his life any worse than it was. Hardships and stress don't take much of a toll on him. He tries to look on the bright side for everything, searching for that silver lining.
Happy:
Happiness makes his world turn. Everything happens for a reason, he's convinced of it, and he generally just exudes joy and contentedness. Sure, there are times where he can be down, just like anyone else, but he quickly bounces back. Most of the time.
Pettiness:
While large stressors don't seem to phase him, Arivice has a bit of an issue with small things. Someone mistaking him as a woman, someone saying something snide, these things can set off his very small temper. He's not against switching your drink with spoiled milk or glueing shoes to your feet
