Howdy, guildlings!

As you all know by now, we have created a rule on how many fakemon a person can make before they are restricted from entering fakemon contests under normal means.

Some of you might have noticed that the guild had started off with some fakemon that didn’t win any contest in this guild, such as Chifaera, the Larverra line, Mareve and the Aklor line. These fakemon were made under a different ruleset, and was not held to the same standards that we now conduct our Fakemon contests. We brought them over to start off the fakedex, to give more options.

With that said, some of us that had created these first fakemon are concerned with the quality of them now that there’s a restriction on the amount that we can have. Some of us would like to make changes to these fakemon to bring them up to quality of the other fakemon entries, and to make them more worthwhile as counting towards our limit.

What I’d like to ask of all of you is if you think that these early entries deserve a makeover. It would only apply specifically to the ‘starting’ fakemon (Chifaera, Mareve/Maveretta, Larverra/Volterra, and Aklor/Ankalor/Sharenkalor). Before revisions are made final, they will be carefully reviewed to make sure that the changes made make sense and fit this guild’s standards. Examples of some possible changes include expanding the movesets (within reason), additional information such as bio and other sections that might be missing when compared to newer fakemon entries.

Now, I know some of you might have some reservations about letting us edit these ‘start-up’ fakemon, and we understand that. We decided to ask, because when these fakemon were brought over to this guild, we had no idea at the time that we would be restricting the amount of fakemon a member could create, nor that we would be holding everyone’s future entries to such standards.

I’m not sure about how the others feel, but I know that Chifaera was an unexpected and rushed fakemon before we made this guild.

Please do let us know what you think. Voice your opinions. We would love to hear what you all have to say on this, no matter what you vote.
