The Vampires

In a history long forgotten the King of Demons tried to find a way to escape his world and infest the world of Humans. Unable to send his Demons into the world he instead found a way to bring Humans to his world. He chose 5 Humans with considerable wealth and power and bestowed upon them Demonic Powers infused with their very beings. Each of these humans were able to return to the Human World with their powers with the objective to open the human world to all Demons. After returning to the Human World each of these new creatures agreed to be Greedy. They sought to rule the world with their Demonic Powers. As they explored their powers they soon realized the need to feed on human blood. The human population was vast and it became to hard to survive among them. Each Vampire created their own brood. Each of them evolved and adapted to the human world and each of them separated. The Families were kept relatively small to better preserve themselves and stay hidden despite their individual superiority to humans.



Knightwalker Family

The Knightwalker Family began with a Knight that rose to power and became a Lord over a great deal of land. He grew to become the Right Hand of the King before he was pulled into the Demon world. He grew into a savage wiping out small villages. Eventually the humans began to rebel. The Head of the Knightwalker Family was hunted down and killed but not before creating a small brood of his own. These new Vampires were more sophisticated and humble then their predecessor and chose to travel North.

Once North they settled into a community. It was common for someone to vanish during a winter storm. It was the perfect time to hunt and with the constant darkness for half of the year it made them very strong and independent at their peak. The Knightwalker family was not blessed with Magic but were granted Physical Strength.

In time a newborn was raised into the family. He grew up and enjoyed coexisting with humans until they day that they found out what he really was. He too was hunted and he was forsaken by the other Knightwalkers including the Family Head and his beloved mother. The humans tortured him near death but he managed to escape. The Young Vampire traveled far and survived returning as a raging beast far superior to that of the first. And unlike any Knightwalker that came before him he was infused with Magic. With his savage strength and power he trapped the very city in an eternal Blizzard. Even the Vampires could not survive the cold they began to freeze and starve as the humans around them died. They could not escape as the last of their kin fell to insanity and rage.
