+Starts 1st day: Room royalty contest (does this end 2nd for 3rd day ball-wide voting?)
Just the voting contest, same ol' thing, prizes TBA.
+Starts 2nd day: Moo's drinking contest
rules and prizes TBA.
Pub brawl
This will just be a "battle" with people using memes and gifs to "fight" each other, and is good for when things are slow. Everyone that participates will get a small prize. Prizes TBA.
+Runs 1st and 2nd day, ends 3rd: Drawing contest
Drawings of our room members, we will vote on the top 3 together, prizes TBA.
Bro's joke/pun contest
rules and prizes TBA.
Write a pirate song
Ask people to write a pirate song, keeping it PG13. I need to think of a minimum word requirement. Prizes TBA.
Animal/paw contest
Drawing or describing in detail the perfect pirate pet/companion by combining features of existing animals, max 3 animals. This will have paw items as prizes, which are TBA!

Budget breakdown:
1tril for room budget: 300bil king/queen/princess/prince contest
king & queen 50bil items each and 50bil gold each. = 200bil princess & prince 25bil items each and 25bil gold each = 100bil
100bil Bro's contest 100bil Moo's contest 100bil drawing contest 100bil pub brawl (many small gifts) 100bil write a drinking song contest 100bil animal/paw contest = 900bil (with 100bil left for emergencies or to return to the ball)
Contest ideas:
Games: -Dice drinking game
Gather a group to participate, everyone needs to be there from the start, no one can join in mid-game. Everyone rolls a dice, and everyone but the lowest number drinks. After someone drinks 10 times they are out, and the last person left wins. We can do 3 rounds of this with 3 prizes.
-Treasure hunt
If someone wanted to do this, make up some clues for people to find. Possibly award prizes to the first 3 people that solve all the clues?
-Pub Brawl
Animated gif battle! Everyone just attacks each other with animated gifts, which we did in the past and is way more fun then it sounds. Unless you can think of another way to award prizes, possibly small and cheap gifts for everyone that participates. This is best saved for a very slow time in the thread to liven it up and not have so many people to buy prizes for.
Contests: -Draw the crew (I am doing this one) -Write a pirate drinking song (I am also doing this one) -Write an elaborate pirate tall tale -Draw a pirate tattoo -Invent the perfect pirate pet (possible paw item contest)
Hello everyone, another month has passed, bringing us ever closer to the ball. If you look at the very first post of this thread, you will notice that I changed the contest/game due date to August 1st instead of September 1st. My reason being it gives more time to sort things out, especially obtaining the prizes for the contests/games.
As mentioned previously, I would like everyone that is a host or co-host to be in charge of a game or contest. As things are right now, It does not seem like Moo will be around to run one, so that leaves Brokuto, Poyudi, and I.
If you choose to run a game, it will help keep the thread busy, but it also will involve more work keeping an eye on a quick moving thread. If you pick a contest, you more or less judge entries, but it does not help much keep the thread entertained. Please choose which you feel more comfortable with. Besides the Pirate queen/king (also maybe princess/prince, and duchess/duke, so we have top 3), I will be running at least the two contests I mention in the post above, and most likely the pirate drinking game if no one else wants it.
Sneep Snop, you are not required to run a contest or game as an official RPer, I just included you in case you really thought you might like to. Thank you everyone! You have a month, I will check in within a couple weeks, please keep me updated or ask any questions you might have!

Ok everyone, it is now August and game/contest choices were supposed to be decided. Brokuto started at least, and I've talked to Moo and Poyudi in skype, but nothing was decided.
Now it is workshop time, I'm going to throw a game or contest at you, and it is yours for the ball unless you quickly think of one you want to do instead. We do not have time to think up games guys, you still need to find prizes for your games too!

You are a sailing cyborg that used to be a spambot. From seeing you RP in the past, you seem to like to have your characters drink, would you like to do the drinking game I mentioned in the first post of this thread? If you have no interest in that, maybe something involving water getting in your circuits or something else cyborg related? Cyborgs also seem like they would get lost at sea pretty easy, since they are not buoyant, but I'm not sure how to build a game around that.
Poyudi:
You are a very theify pirate, so honestly the treasure hunt sounds like it would be a good game for you. I did a treasure hunt in my room last year, and it went pretty well. I made lame poems around places around Gaia, and gave a prize to the first person to guess the place. If you have something else you would rather do, let me know ASAP.
The ball is a little over a month and a half away guys, so please get this done so we don't have to worry about it, and please don't leave it on me to have to figure out for everyone. Thank you guys!!!

yeah i think i'd be basing mine on colour schemes more than pirate theme, though possibly water/fish theme

Edit: I was looking at the plot, and Bro, would it be ok to do your contest the first day? I was thinking Moo's would be best on the second, before the pub brawl. I'm also going to be doing a gif/meme battle for the pub brawl because it was super fun when raff did it a couple years ago!
The last day I'm not sure if we need a game since it will be busy with plot stuff, but there will be contests going anyways.
Also, if we get 1 tril to use for prizes, does 100 bil per person to spend on their game/contest sound reasonable? I know we need to save a big chunk for the king/queen contest.

my contest can run the whole time of the ball if you want not just the first day since its a conversation starter for my character.
