"Keep trying as we get closer, then." As they continued to follow the new tracks, they eventually had to stop or risk being caught in the open outside of the courtyard's walls. He listened for voices, but he could neither see nor hear much from this spot. Feeling rather as though he were stating the obvious, he said, "It would be best if we can get into the courtyard without being seen. If we find an adult, they will probably have some knowledge of a prisoner-- if we find a child, they can be traded for that knowledge." If they were seen, he thought they might still have surprise on their side-- who would expect the moon court to enter the enemy castle in the open, during the day? And yet because of that, it was a logical time for it. He moved toward the entrance, staying off to one side of it until he was closer.

Aranea followed Lupinus, keeping to the shadows that the Castle and its surroundings cast as they drew closer to its walls. She called for Feles, mind-shouting as he had done to her, hoping that they would catch a break as it were and stumble across a member of the Sun Court.
