Back Story
Jason and Jaimie were always competitive from as long as their parents could remember. One was always better then the other in something. Sports, school, even learning languages and driving.
Jason was good at track, soccer, tae kwon do, baseball and various forms of classical dancing, among other skills.
While Jaimie was good at track, volleyball, basketball, modern dance including hip hop/hop, though she would say that it was a stale mate when it comes to tae kwon do. Has dabbled in soccer and soft ball. They have yet to have a winner beats all challenge to determine that.
Jason often goes by Jay and is top in his class along with his athletic achievements.
Jaimie often goes by Jersey, and often battles her brother for top spot in both class and athletic achievements.
Jason and Jaimie's parent's are Jin Ho Lee (Father) and Mei lynn Lee (mother). Their father is Korean American, his parents came to America for a better life. But his parent's moved back to South Korea when he entered college after one of his parent's father gone ill. Their mother is Chinese-Norwegian American born. Her mother's side is Chinese American, while her father is from a Norwegian background.
Because of their mixed background, Jason and Jaimie have learned Korean and both forms of Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) from their various summers and holidays visiting families. And because of that developed their own special language mixing English, Korean, and Chinese.
They maybe competitive in a lot of things, but they get along comfortably.

Story
The twins father is a businessman and his company's head quarter's is based in South Korea and is transferring him there to be Vice President of a section of the company. So the family is moving to South Korea, and the twins will have their final year of high school in South Korea.
It's their final week in America, and they're doing final last minute things before making the big journey.
It's the summer time and the sun is shining through Jaimie/Jihyun's open window. Her room is as clean as it's ever been, mostly boxed up and shipped ahead to their new place. They will be living with the rest of the family in a big old fashioned house.

in a teenage way
She's asleep under her cover's as her mother walks in with a laundry basket full of odds and ends. She pauses and sighs shaking her head. Jason/Jiyoung walks by with headphones in his ears, pauses and walks back. Shakes his head, and pats his mom on the shoulder after hitting pause on his ipod.
Their mom half turns to him, he says nothing and takes the basket from her hands. Patting her shoulder again to send her on her way. Without saying a word she nods and moves on.
Jason walks into the room, silently chuckling as he takes off his headphones and wraps them around his ipod, and puts it in his back pocket of his shorts. He walks over to her bed, a muffled snoring sneaks out. He smiles as he proceeds to remove the cover's from the bed. Still asleep sprawled out, she silently sleeps.
He takes off his cell phone, knowing she's probably faking it "Get up from the bed now Mei Mei" He says a mix of words in various languages taking out his phone, "Or everyone will know how you sleep" He threatens
"You wouldn't" She responds
"You know i would" He replies getting ready
"DON'T YOU DARE!" She screams leaping from the bed to snatch his phone.
There father screams down the hall as he goes down the stairs "Korean please"
"Right" The twins say in unison in Korean, they will be leaving soon and must practice their Korean by speaking it all the time. Jaimie tried to grab his phone but failed and she grumbled.
Not long after they joined their parents down stairs, to discuss the plans for the day.
they look just about like this, the place will stay somewhat furnished. Their mom's parents will be taking care of it until their house is finished being remodeled. And will sale it after
They sit down at the table and join their parents for breakfast

After a heated discussion on who get's what car, it was decided to make it more interesting by having the girls drive in the dad's car. And the guys drive in mom's car.
Jaimie stifled her laughter as she got into a driver's seat, her older brother glaring at her as he got into the driver's seat of his mom's car. Their mother lightly tapped Jaimie on the shoulder to stop, and get started. As they set off to run the last errands in their final days in the Los Angeles sun.
More boxes to get, more boxes to ship, a few things here and there. The final race was to the restaurant, one of the few last places they had to say goodbye to. That they might one day return to, someday.
"Then it's settled we'll meet at the In n Out closest to home, who ever get's there first chooses the dessert" Jason said
"Looking forward to choosing your dessert" Jaimie said getting onto the freeway
They were talking via speaker phone. And had just swapped turns driving.
"You two never stop" Their mother said in Mandarin, which we knew dad was about to say something but Jason stopped him.
Jaimie and her mom where jamming to some of Jaimie's kpop music, not too loud to annoy the car in-front or behind them. When sirens from up ahead coming towards them signaled of an oncoming pursuit.
"Finally turned that noise down" Jaimie heard her father
"Oops" Jaimie said
Oops was right, in all the co-motion Jaimie forgot to hang up, and the guys didn't hang up either so someone found it entertaining. Before Jaimie could hang up, her mother stopped her.
"Looks like we might loose this one kid" Her mother said in a mix of languages
"Okay you win this one on a technicality Oppa" Jaimie grumbled
"What do you mean the sirens?" Jason asked
"Yeah sounds like they're coming our way will have to wait until it's all clear" His mother replied, as she wiggled in her seat to see how far off they were.
It happened suddenly, too quickly for them to utter much a word, "JAIMIE!" Her mother screamed as she did her best to shield her.
The high speed chase went out of control, it managed to just skim a couple cars ahead of them. And some how managed to come to a hault right on them. It was as if the car was made of aluminium, the driver's side crushed as her mother protected Jaimie as best as she could.
There was gurgled noise coming in and out from Jaimie's feet, of her dropped cellphone... no response.

3 Weeks later
The sound of a steady beeping noise entered Jaimie's ears, she awoke slowly. Tired as if she hardly slept, as she took in her surroundings. The first thing she notices is her left leg and arm in casts and her right wrist was wrapped in a way. And her wrist was hurting badly and she could barely move it. Opening her eyes a little wider, she noticed her grandparents slowly nodding in a sleep.
They must have not gotten that much deep in sleep, for her grandma stirred and noticed Jaimie was awake and nudged her grandfather awake.
Confused at what was going on, everything seemed to be coming familiar and making sense.
It is then she discover's her mother passed away protecting her, or it would have been her mother in this bed and not her. Worried for her and hopeful, her father and brother didn't blame her for this accident. It was a fluke, and no ones fault but the bad person in pursuit. Their father lasted only a week before he had to leave to keep his job. Her brother stayed but left the other day to get prepared for school, and hoped she'd follow soon after. If she didn't he'd come for her when he could.
Jaimie cried, first silently then hard, wanting to get up and run away. But unable to move much. She blamed herself, no matter how many times her grandparents tried to console her. Part of her wondered how bad her bones were, were they worse then before? Would she be able to do everything like she did before or have to give something else. Another part of her wanted to give up. But she knew she couldn't, she didn't want to put this trouble on her brother and father.
Two Months later
It took a couple months to get everything healed and able to walk normal again. Slowly and silently she tried to be normal again. She finished packing her final luggage to go on the plane.
Jaimie talked some but not a lot, and mostly through text messaging. A weird but decent morning hour over in Korea. She thought looking at the clock when her phone buzzed..
