Alright everyone, its Thanos versuses Superman.
Thanos gets two hours prep time and Superman is allowed Sun dips.

Thanos. Easily. The man can and did (without tech or cosmic power) slap down the Professor Hulk and Drax the Destroyer....at the same time.
He's smarter than....well anyone.
He's got at LEAST as good energy beams as Supes.
He's about as strong.
He can teleport.
His force field can take hits from Silver Surfer in stride.
Has technology and fleets of ships that put Darkseid's to shame.
Has mental powers and is a pretty damn good magic user.
Two hours for Thanos means getting his kinetic nullifier (keeps objects incapcitated), and his black hole bomb, and sitting around sipping tea for the next hour and 55 minutes.

And don't forget he fought The Tyrant to a stand still and defeated The Fallen One, two of Galactus' most powerful Heralds.

Supes has no chance.
At least make it Pre - Crisis Superman and he might have a chance.

Given 2 hours, Thanos would go to earth, borrow the Gems from Adam Warlock & crew and reunite the infinity Gauntlet Partially (because when all gems are united they won't work, such was the decreet of the Living Tribunal) and just snap his fingers making supes go to the end of time. I'm not sure if he still owns a Gem himself, if so, he wouldn't even need to go anywhere.
