A week was far too long to go without some sort of get together or party. Of course there was not really a reason to have a fancy party or any party reason so that was even more reason to have one was it not? An easily bored and hard to please cat like male thought he would have some fun by holding a party open to anyone and everyone. Maybe if he let the 'common rabble' in he could find some amusement. He sent out flyers and announcements and now in a grand ball room of fancy hotel the party was ready to take place. There were tables of food for anyone's taste and a band in full swing already as people were starting to file in. Masks were provided for those who wanted them and those who often came to one of the cat like noodle's parties knew it was best to use a mask. the decadent parties could get rather intense.
Grave Masque lounging in one of the high back chairs watching as people started to file in. He tended to watch often before participating in his own parties. And since this time it was more open for everyone it would be interesting to see how the more rich bloods mixed with the poorer ones. If things went well maybe he would do more parties like this. The crimson eyed male watched with a smirk his thick tail curled around the bottom of the chair he was in and his wings were stretched out in a lazily manner.

M'hurKh skipped about. A party! No noodle had ever invited M'hurKhy to a party! The silly, simple little beast had had to think hard to reach tiny little fragments of party advice from a noodle that had been gorgeous and golden, with fins that were somehow warm and comforting. She'd had a blue stripe, and cotton candy eyes... no, that wasn't right.
Wait, what was M'hurKh thinking about? He paused and glanced at his tail and the net of fish he'd carried there, and drooled at them for a few moments. "Oh right! Party! M'hurKhy's goin' to parrrrtyyy!"
Some fool had read the flier for M'hurKh when he'd shown it to them. M'hurKh didn't hear the talking down that followed, or the suggestion that he go home, so he didn't get hurt, or the inquiry about the harpoon. He never heard those anyways, though.
M'hurKh tilted his head when he came to the actual party, turning down the mask, in favor of his own. "M'hurKh has his own protection face helmet." he chimed, peering around He found the table of food and trotted over like it was normal to be carrying a net full of fish. "I brought a thing for the party! Someone told me you should always!" he cooed, holding up the tangled net of fish in varying quality, all relatively fresh catches, for the caterers, each of whom stared at him oddly for a moment. They waited until they were sure the noodle, who'd stood stone still up until now, wouldn't move without them taking the bag, before they summoned the busboys to drag the haul to the back. M'hurKh just smiled at them and waddled into the room, oblivious to the little droplets of water still dribbling off his coat and his harpoon; he'd made sure to dip into the river before coming, since he knew most furpretties didn't like the smell of the sea in their homes.

Playful crimson eyes shone brightly under his elegant mask as Grave watched the entrance of a rather amusing aquatic male. He was farm more than just amusing, he was the exact reason why the noble male had opened up this party to all walks of life. The skull wearing male was clearly clueless to so many oddities about him and did not seem to see the error in his polite bringing of a large gift nor the reluctance of the wait staff to take it. Though Grave had to admit he was rather interested now in trying some of those fresh catches. And being more of a feline male he was interested in the fish like smell and smiled at the perfect gift. Clearly this male was apt at fishing though maybe not so much at taking care of himself.
Seeing a staff member wandering behind M'hurKh with a mop was too much for Grave and he started to laugh. Clearly this evening was not going to be boring at all! He was going to have a fun time watching this clueless male. He wondered how much trouble he could get into and just how long anything might take to get threw that thick skull mask.

The fishy beast churred as he turned to the rest of the party and all but wagged his tail, oblivious to the near-collision with the mopman following in his wake. It was visibly almost literally without a thought that he bounded out into the middle of everything, oblivious as his tail swiped against sides and hips of noodles in the process of enjoying themselves, before he paused to watch a couple others dancing, and moved to mimic them. If he was dangerous before, with just the bounce, the idea of this noodle dancing was just a tornado of death. He had surprising dexterity for being so impaled, and the grace with which his tail followed his move said nothing for its accuracy aiming for the noodles closest, and less for the attention he paid the pained squawks of annoyed guests as they sidled away from the whirling dervish.

His laughter grew even more at the whirlwind of annoyance the aquatic male was causing. He could not help but enjoy the destruction the new comer was bringing but his more common patrons might not like the commoner disturbing their evening. It was too early for such chaos. So Grave slid from his chair and made his way over to the dance floor with a fluid cat like grace. "Your dance moves are a bit...energetic my dear sir. Shall we try something a bit more...fluid?" He asked avoiding the almost random tail flicks with a quick grace that made things appear as if he were almost dancing with the random movements. "Ever slow danced?" He asked shifting to press his shoulder to the other male's drawing their bodies together so he could control the other male easier. "It is more of a follow your partner's style of dance."

M'hurKh slowed to a stop, when he felt the other male climbing into his space, tilting his head at the blackened feline noodle. "Dark Furpretty wants M'hurKh to... show happy... slower?" he muttered, the concept seeming completely foreign. "Well... M'hurKh will try it, but dance is supposed to show happy. Not sure how to show happy slow." he murmured, letting the cat align with him and trying to watch his movements. He was clumsy at it, and Grave might get the impression he didn't normally walk much slower than he danced.

"Not all happy needs to be so bold and bright. Some happy is best expressed with intimate slow movements." he chuckled an watched at the aquatic male tried to follow his movements though were rather clumsy. He slid his tail along and curled it partly around M'hurKh's to guide it from flicking and swirling into the other guests. "Are you happy being here sir? I am sure we are all happy to have you too. Though you do seem rather out of place. Apart from the lovely skull over your face. Is this your first party?"

M'hurKh tilted his head, while he tried to keep time with the slower pace, the rest of the partygoers slowly venturing back onto the floor as the 'wild beast' was contained. M'hurKh glanced at them as they did, confused why they were eyeing him so warily, as much as why some seemed sore or annoyed. "M'hurKh is happy. Not been to party since got the shiny. That's first thing M'hurKh remembers." He glanced back at the harpoon stabbing him through the chest and there was a fondness in his eyes instead of pain, like it reminded the sockets of his skull of a friend, not that that memory found his brain, apparently. "No furpretty or scalepretty ever invites M'hurKh to parties. Most avoids M'hurKh, like not liking." His expression shifted in the shadow of his skullmet. "Slow happy is weird..."

The feline like Grave watched this current partner taking in those around them. He seemed a bit unhappy with their judging gazes and displeased glances but Grave only continued to smile and guide their dance, "Oh is that true? What a pity well you certainly must come to some more of the parties I though even if this crowd may not be as found of your free style of dancing but not all my gatherings are like this some do tend to be much more physical and that could be more to your liking." He said and slowly started to guide the skull fish off of the dance floor.

M'hurKh followed along, appreciating that anyone was talking to him with anything but contempt in their voice. "You're a nice Furpretty. M'hurKh is liking you much." he chimed glefully. "So you throw parties like this often? And M'hurKh can come to the more happier ones?" His clueless smile was excited. "M'hurKh will brings more fishies, next time, so everyones can have some! That's how you do parties, right? Bring foodz for everyone?" He tilted his skull cieling-ward thoughtfully, wondering why he thought that. Who'd told him that, anyways? "Somefur said it was important a long time ago to not go to parties empty-pawed."
