A sanctuary created to help, house, and school Metas.
Current active metas: -Mirabelle (Head of Spectrum Research, sometimes secretary for Sanctuary ) -Nova (Head of the overseers and overseer of the angel race: Elder, first meta created) -Zen (Overseer of the ghost race: Elder) -Tendren(Former overseer of the ghost race, former Elder, In umbra) -Moira(Elder. History:
Originally created by elven sisters Kae Broken and her sister Elaena Eternal the co-creators of the species, as aschool to help the newly created species learn to live with the other races. However, it closed a few years later after the meta Rasiel who is now known as The Killer, the highest bounty in the land piror to the Meta Mafia, supposedly killed a dozen children in the neighboring city. Humans looking for revenge headed to the school and attempted to gain access. Rasiel's sister sacrificed herself to lead the humans away and allow the metas in the school time to escape.
20 Years later Kae Broken and Elaena Eternal have been assumed dead and the overseers have been scarce. So Rhun, a meta who formally worked on Mane's and Malices in the research center Spectrum reopened the school as a Sanctuary for all metas to protect them from preying groups such as Haven and discrimination from the other races. Slowly metas who used to attend the school as children return along with metas who have never heard of the place at all. They found safety there which they could not find anywhere else.
Unfortunately Rhun was accused of being Rasiel and had to flee for his life despite the accusations never being proven. Nova the Head overseer the oldest of all the metas took his place in running Sanctuary.
Spectrum Research[In Belrad] A facility that specializes in Metas and more specifically Manes and Malices. This is the facility that Mirabelle and Rhun worked at to get the approval to open the sanctuary. It is located in Belrad.
No current Metas in this facility. Mirabelle: Hangs out more in Sanctuary than she does at her own company.

History:
It used to be run by others wishing to study metas but somehow they were force to consider giving ownership to one of their research subjects. Mirabelle. After that it went from researching on metas to researching spirits that seem to inhabit the souls of some metas and proving their existence while attempting to learn more about who these being are...or were.
Renegades/(SIU?!)
In general, the renegade were created by Zaku Shiori and Andy Infinity to combat against humans and fight for meta rights through terrorism and inciting riots. They are passionate about taking down high-ranking officials or leaders that would pose a threat to metas or meta rights. They are considered a terrorist group using violence to spread their word, claiming they are sick of being compliant and led like sheep to slaughter.
Recently they have changed tactics are are attempting to promote peace through other means after the Meta Mafia destroyed Criel causing mass retribution from the human cities. They have currently taken over the City of thieves, SS Banor

Metas in the renegades (Solo): Yoko
Metas in the Murder Squad: [Currently anywhere] Info: This the most effective team just under EE. Created as a kind of parody of Zaku's elite team, they are best known as "The Murder Squad", as they always take things way too far when they get involved. Full of a bunch of overpowered teenagers, they've been known to skin people alive, demolish entire buildings, and cause huge explosions. Calling them in is an absolute last resort to any situation. As of the current moment they have been seen helping Mafia or doing their own thing with little control after Zaku disappeared, rumors abound that Zaku never did control them.
Zaku's direct group is the Efficacious Eight that take on only top high-profile and very dangerous jobs, usually to infiltrate and assassinate political leaders.
The EE is widely known as the most danger and top ranked renegade group (especially garnering more attention since Zaku is apart of that group.)
The group right under EE is widely known as the "Murder Squad" is infamous for taking things too far and causing way more destruction, chaos, and death than was necessary for the jobs they are assigned.
With the disbanding of EE and Zaku going missing the Renegades teams started to fracture with those wanting more action moving over to the Mafia.
Andy took over the leadership along with Lucian, (name) and (name), all represented by masks. They continue to hold the Renegades together and at this moment have taken over the city of SS Banor causing a nervous mutter throughout the cities of Treterra while rumors seem to hint that the Renegades might be thinking of building a hidden city but the idea does not seem to come from Andy...
Metas in the Efficacious Eight:[Disbanded] Info: This is Zaku's elite team that runs the renegades. They are known for being the most effective team, though lately, it's starting to come to light just how broken this team had become. 1. Zaku (missing) 2. Andy (defected) 3. Rhun (not known) 4. Meta Mafia[Currently in the mansion across from sanctuary.] A group of Metas have started conducting organized crime to minimize crimes against Metas where humans are pushing their weight further to crush them down. This group is like a tight-nit, classy family who see to the safety and care of Metas that are being abused or killed. After the destruction of the city the Meta Mafia are trying to build an island base for all races but mostly metas.

History:
After their reveal and attack on Criel, they spent months fighting the Criel forces and the True Race forces who attacked the humans and metas in retaliation for humans using remanents of their relics to fight metas. It was then followed with the destruction of the metropolis after month long battle with the human forces.
They are now one of the most wanted bounties on Treterra. Views of metas plummet after the destruction of the city while metas either agreed or disagreed with the Mafia's actions, many due to being raised by human or true race families.
After the destruction of the city, the mafia started to create their own island city with those that came to support them.
With the treaty Zaku Shiori managed to prevent Mise from being captured and executed in exchange for their signatures. It does not change that the Mafia is still hunted for the destruction of the city of Criel.

SIU Research Facility/*Renegades?!*[Unknown] A facility that was originally created during the Great War to utilize powers and magic to combat the true races. After the war, they lost funding, but with the escalation of fighting between Metas and Humans, they were revitalized to help the humans combat against the renegades.
SIU is currently up in the air as recent events have caused havoc to the organization and forced them to reject the meta section and put a warrant out on them and their leader Director Mara Gold for possible conspiracy. The meta who follow Mara have been split for their safety after what seems to be a powerful meta takes revenge on them over what Ree, a former SIU meta, had done. Currently Mara and her group are attempting to hunt down Ree.
History
After mass break ins and escapes followed by the decimation of a good chunk of their forces during Parley it was deemed that SIU meta project was a failure and was promptly sold by Norcrest city to Belrad city. Belrad is a true race government that wished to build their own anti-meta force and funnel quite a lot if money and resources into the projects and surrounding projects. Unfortunately, similiar and more clever break in continued to happen followed with an increasing dislike of metas and their human Magi leader.
Shortly after Zaku Shiroi was captured and transferred along with Ree Luz, who had been captured after being mentally impaired due to starvation and injury, SIU meta division was closed and issued out a warrant on Mara along with the metas within the city of Belrad.
Due to retaliatory actions, tearing out one meta's heart, enslaving another, etc, from what seems to be a powerful meta over what Ree had done. Mara has currently split the metas who followed her into groups to keep them safe while she tried to figures out how to move from this.

Teldnet Research[In Norcrest & Aldas] A facility that focuses on technology based research of Metas and True Races. Not much is known about this facility only that they have the top security of most research centers.
History:
The meta Anadii was their main technology based meta for hacking, and orignizing their research and employees. He was accidentally rescued by two former SIU metas when guiding Teldnet employees who were attempting to capture them for their bounties.
Teldnet has been looking for him ever since.
Teldnet also have tech contracts with SIU.

"Haven" Research Centers[Everywhere] Haven Centers disguise themselves by many names, but ultimately is the same company hidden beneath new names. They are the worst research center to be captured by or enticed into. They will do anything to recruit or steal Metas into their centers to do terrible and sometimes grotesque experiments on them. There are hidden centers everywhere and it is hard to tell which ones are Haven until it's far too late. They are secretly funded by anti-meta governments around Tretera and closing one center just makes them open a new one under a different name. It never ends.

Vampires: Vampires are controlled by a Prince and their court. Any vampire causing trouble will have a visit from one of these people. It is suggested you do not ignore the warning unless you want more visits.
