Appearance: Unsure. Keeps himself concealed in black clothing to blend into the night. Allegedly seen wearing boots.

Information: Team Snagem originally became aware of the Steel Snatcher thanks to Miror B. (formerly of Team Cipher), the man himself having became aware of the thief during his stay in Pyrite Town where the thief first struck. Snagem's first encounter with the Steel Snatcher was also in Pyrite Town, Tristen and Darts having came up with the idea to have a battle with one of them using a Pokemon uncommon in Orre, a Blitzle which was promptly snagged by the Steel Snatcher during the evening time. The Steel Snatcher appears to only strike in darkness and acts very quickly, as seen when he snagged the Blitzle by utilizing a Weavile in quick strike techniques.

A Pyrite local named Nover, a frequent battler at the Duel Square, had his allegedly powerful Noctowl snagged by the thief, the man apparently having struck from atop the old warehouse near the square, the very same warehouse containing an elevator leading to a currently unknown area. Nover was last known planning to hire a man named Zook to carry out a hit on the Steel Snatcher and get back his Noctowl.

The Steel Snatcher had also attacked while a battle took place in Pyrite Colosseum, first using an unknown Pokemon to darken the area and then using his Weavile to apparently freeze the field over as there was evidence of ice. Furthermore a hidden entrance to an underground railroad tunnel was discovered underneath the field, the entrance apparently new and recently traveled through. The tunnel was seen to lead to the Under.

The Steel Snatcher was also known to have stayed at the Pyrite Super Grand Hotel, having accumulated a still unpaid debt. When his room was entered by fellow Snagem Beau an explosive was set off destroying room's contents. A mostly intact key card was found which goes to the elevator found in the warehouse mentioned earlier.

Local conspiracy theorist claims that there may be a connection between the Steel Snatcher's appearance and the sudden acquisition of the rights to the minerals underneath Pyrite Town by United Orre Mining which both seemed to take place at the same time. A toolbox belonging to said mining company was found in the tunnel underneath Pyrite Colosseum but all this may just be coincidence.

Fellow Snagem Blizzard has also been led to believe that the Steel Snatcher is also the secretive Under King. It is known that the Under King keeps his identity concealed and frequently takes on challengers in the Under Colosseum. However ever since Snagem's encounter with the Steel Snatcher the Under King has not made appearance in the Under Colosseum. Furthermore former Cipher grunt Resix had his Houndoom snagged days after Snagem's original encounter with the Steel Snatcher, said Cipher grunt led to believe by a local Pyrite junk dealer that the Steel Snatcher frequents a bar in the Under. It is believed that this was a lie as the local junk dealer was a known member to the Cipher resistence years ago when Team Cipher threatened to gain complete control over Orre and thus said person had reason to mislead Resix. Junk dealer may be in cahoots with the Steel Snatcher.
