You don't have to give me anything but here's a few facts...
Dashner and Falconnie's original names were Dashner and Fawthenie Verkison....... for no actual logical reason. They are both based off Jame's Patterson's novels called MAXIMUM RIDE which is about a group of mutants that escape a lab and spend the entire series getting hunted down. I loved those books a few years ago. Also, Dashner originally had a 13-year-old Justin Bieber haircut in his original design.
Doriana (Dieanna) was a mistake and was meant to be a "for fun" character that I didn't think I would try to develop very much.
Oh and last but not least.... When I first came up with the idea of Dashner, before I was invited onto Gaia to use him here, I RP'd him on another Monster High website and he had a girlfriend that was the daughter of some kind of lightning god. Yep. You could imagine what happened every time he made her mad....

Anyway, I wanted to share a few more factoids about Marceline, specifically her family!
Marceline has three older brothers, all named for other family members in the Ghede Loa lore:
- Cimitière (pronounced sim-uh-TYEERE) is the oldest of the three, very far removed in age from Marceline... they don't really relate much, and Marceline kind of addresses him like one would address their parents, if that makes any sense. He's a very serious individual, and wrote off the family business to pursue his own endeavors, at which he is very successful... The details of Cim's business are... questionable at best, and Papa doesn't entirely approve of what he does, but it's never really talked about. He also has a fearancee, who is a sea monster.
- Kriminel (pronounced krim-uh-NELL) is the middle brother, and likely heir apparent to The Baron's family business -- mostly because he's the most interested. He's several years younger than Cim and also much older than Marceline; despite their age difference, Marceline has the closest relationship to Krim out of all her brothers. He adores his baby sis and is fiercely protective of her. He's one of those guys that's always cracking jokes and teasing, but if you cross him he gets very serious, and very scary. Krim is the most fully-fleshed out of her brothers as far as a design scheme goes; I based him loosely on Andre 3000 in the old Outkast video for "The Whole World": But with a few gold teeth in his maw. xD
- Croix (pronounced CROY) is the youngest, only a few years older than Marceline. He's kinda the black sheep of the family at this point... he's a bit of a delinquent and a deadbeat; and very much a manster-child, spending most of his time in the LaGhede's basement playing video games. He's also quite the bully to Marceline, responsible for a lot of fractures and broken bones she's sustained in her unlife. They, for obvious reasons, don't talk much. I kinda picture him looking very much like Rick Genest, AKA Zombie Boy, but with a bit darker skin:

Ah where do I begin! There's so much to tell about her. She by far!! the most flawed and my favorite OC to play. She has the MOST potential for growth and change.
Vanissha is remarkably smart, she simply doesn't apply it since she's too busy, going to parties and trying to get attention.
Her Mother is the Invisible woman, a famous boo-vie actress, this is where Vanissha gets her acting ability from.
Her father is in an important figure in the Navy, is a 'Normie' and this is where her Red, white, and navy-blue color scheme comes from. She also has his last name.
Parents are divorced at a young age, each having their careers to think about often don't give their daughter very much attention at all. In place of parenting, they bribe and gift her. As her mother is off promoting movies, and her father is at sea. Her attention seeking stems from this fact, mostly, the reason she's invisible.
Her father is dating a Selkie, he'd met on his under-water adventures. This bothers Vanissha very much.
Her Uncle, Mr. Where (on her mother's side) is the Drama teacher at Monster High, and she lives with him in Salem, having moved from Hauntlywood. She's loves her uncle and they have grown closer.
She's based off Parris Hilton, very rich, smart and snobby, although this has lessened greatly in her two years.

Nero's name/parents are based off a French archaeologist. Why France? Because France has a long history of getting stuff from Egypt. Also personal preference. I'm pretty stoked that MH has TWO actual French characters instead of going to "French Canadian" route.
So why are his parents werewolves? Because France had a werewolf thing like England had a witch thing. Werewolves everywhere.
Both his parents are archaeologists but they've given up travel to try and give Nero's free-roaming spirit some boundaries. His mother is now the head archaeological conservator at the Scarmerican Museum of Natural History and his dad is in private practice, working from home. Like Hellene's family, Nero's parents are very close to the De Niles, although their's is more a business relationship than a social one.
Nero's physical appearance and inspiration is based on model Kevin Carnell. He has an Instagram. I'm not linking it because I'm not sure it's allowed, but there is no nudity. (There's a lot of ALMOST! though).
Originally Nero was going to speak in rhyme all the time. It was the worst and I quickly abandoned this terrible crime. Aside from the challenge of finding the all right words, It was the most annoying character tick I'd ever heard.
Also we originally did this RP in towns and it was hell coming up with rhymes on the fly.
Nero was originally going to be a Sumarian monster, a Lamassu, similar to sphinx but generally depicted as a bull. Problem was Lamassu always have wings, and after making Hellene I didn't want another monster who could fly. So it was easier to just go straight Sphinx.
Nero is an only child. He originally had some sisters, but I forgot about them entirely. Since they weren't mentioned that often anyway, I've decided to let this retcon stand. They were his parents biological daughters.
I just this minute realized that both Draconia and I have introduced our second RP characters by putting them in a failed relationship with our first RP characters. Things ended way better with Kai.
