It wouldn't be hard to spot Glitch in her solitary travelings with her eyes that shown like moonlight behind a mop of messy hair. Her ephemeral coat glimmered brightly in the shadows, bits and pieces blurring before ones view. She was a creature hard to look upon, something she'd been told a thousand times but, not with words quite so polite. So the mare stomped through the bushes, moving with absolutely no grace whatsoever, but rather a fury. Every step was filled with indignation and marked by the loud crunching of branches under hoof as she did her best to avoid the rest of the world.
While she did her best to stay out of the obvious territories of other soquili, it was inevitable that she would occasionally stumble upon one herd or another's in her daily travels. The mare could only hope that this wasn't one of those days. A day when someone just happened to bump into her amongst the trees and find her visage so repulsive that they couldn't help but comment on it. The mare's eye gave a twitch at the thought.
So far this day had gone well enough. Well, considering the life she led was one of near total seclusion, self-doubt, and general distrust. So well in fact that Glitch was almost singing. Almost. That was until one small misstep led the mare to falling flat on her face.
"Sh*t! F*ck!" Ever so elegantly a flurry of curses punctuated the air around the mare as she struggled to regain her feet. So much for that day. Phail Ninja Oh god. Titles too hard. I hope this is an ok start. XP

Hakkar crept forwards, keeping his steps light against the chilly ground. His cerynei blood gifted him with a fleet foot, and his wind blood kept his bones light, so he almost ghosted across the land, the only sign of his passing being the barely-audible thump of each step. His eyes flickered from side to side restlessly, both alert and eager all at the same time, carefully scouting his surroundings. Yet they twitched with anticipation. Pent up energy rumbled through his body, tensing his muscles with an almost electric hum. It was his turn to be on guard duty, and he was just itching for a fight.
His dark fur blended him into his surroundings as he prowled forwards, keeping his head low and his wings pressed close against his body. Even his bright blue markings faded under the moon's gentle glow, washing away into a pale grey that could barely be distinguished. The sound of a loud thud sent his blood rushing as he froze, his ears swivelling to pin-point the source. It wasn't hard to track down, for the next sounds he heard were a loud string of curses. The hint of a smile cursed across his lips before his face hardened, turning to prowl towards the voice.
A mare, alone, as far as he could see, was scrambling to her feet. Her features were odd, her pelt glowed beneath the gentle light, and bits of her simple seemed to blur before his eyes. Most of his herd members would have held back, watching the stranger for a while to ascertain any potential danger, but not Hakkar. He was too impulsive. Too brash. Too rearing for a good battle. He slipped out from the shadows to stand behind the mare, staying as silent as he could. "An' where d'ya think yer goin'?" His voice was bold, confident, yet tainted with the heavy accent native to his herd, enough to make most Soquili freeze where they stood. And yet it seemed to resound with an almost teasing challenge. He wanted someone to put a fight, so he could show them his real strength. cursedandwandering It's perfect! XD I am excited~

"Stupid damn rock," the mare growled under her breath as she kicked the offending stone off into the bushes.
Having only just regained her footing, she was nearly bowled over again as the surprise questioning of a stranger led her to nearly jump out of her skin.
"What the hell?!"
Scowling, the mare whirled about to face the undoubtedly awful stallion who seemed to think it was fun to sneak up on unsuspecting strangers in the dark. Eyes piercing through the darkness, she squinted at the speaker. With her teeth grinding she assessed him. All hopes that he was an outcast himself quickly fled.
He was normal. Absolutely normal and there was no way she'd be getting any sympathy from someone so disgustingly pleasing to the eye. He'd followed her to make fun of her from what she could make of it. Why else would he stalk her so silently just to be so rude? Kick the freaks when they were down. That's how it always was.
"None of your f*cking business, pretty boy," came the hiss from her pixelated maw. Phail Ninja I'm so excited about this I'm struggling to type it on my phone while I'm at work. Can't wait. Need to reply. XD

This one had quite the mouth on her, Hakkar noticed with a slight smile. Well, she certainly wasn’t shy, and she didn’t seem all too intimidated by him, though she hadn’t immediately jumped to the offence and outright attacked him. Some inkling inside him told him she probably wasn’t a threat, but he couldn’t rule it out yet. After all, she was at this point trespassing fairly heavily into his herd lands. He watched her closely, walking forwards in a slow circle, his neck arched high to try and show that he was in the position of power here.
Slowly, ever so slowly, step by step, he circled in front of her, eyes never leaving her. Her mouth was obscured by a strange blur, an almost dizzying effect. He had heard of individuals with such odd traits, but never met one before. It was almost intriguing. He wondered if it could give her any advantage in battle, but didn’t have long to make his assessment, as she was speaking to him. His smile deepened into a cocky smirk at her hiss, “Pretty? Well, ah’m flattered ya think so.”
He took a step closer, a low chuckle escaping from deep in his chest. “Ya see, it kinda is some of my f*ckin’ business. See, this here land’s part of t’ Vitterfolk herd.” He raised his wings in an almost threatening gesture. “So ah suggest ya explain yerself.”

Disgust rose within her like bile at the back of her throat. This stallion was making it clear who the superior specimen was between the two of them as he stood tall and looked her over. Glitch could almost feel herself shrinking as he dissected her with those fiery red eyes, every hoof fall spelling out his distaste with what he saw. It was practically textbook. Look her over, figure out what the ugliest part of her was, and let the insults fly. The mare took a deep breath, steeling herself for the moment the taunting began.
Wasn't he so smug? His extreme arrogance was practically palpable. Her blurred lips pursed in consideration, before she stuck her tongue out to see if she could indeed taste his vanity. How typical for someone who's looks didn't scare people at first glance. She bet no foals had ever cried at the sight of him.
"You think i give a sh*t about what land you and your buddies decided to claim as your own? I wasn't f*cking bothering you." A sneer crept across her face as she locked eyes with him. Her glowing orbs narrowed, darkening her face as he loomed over her. While she wanted to take a step back, the mare was forced by pride to grit her teeth and stand her ground. She couldn't to let herself be chased out so easily. Whether they claimed it or not, she was causing them no trouble just by passing through. She'd even been considerate enough to move at night so her vision didn't affront their eyes, but clearly it wasn't enough or this stallion wouldn't be here.
" I don't need to tell you anything, a**hole."

The mare’s eyes shone with a defiant light as they bore into his own, filled with a hostility that outdid even her strong words. It was challenge, and Hakkar knew he could never back down. He glared back, gaze unblinking, stepping closer and closer towards her until his face was mere inches away from hers. He stretched out his wings, all the bigger to make himself even more imposing, and let just a touch of cool steeliness enter his voice. “Me ‘n’ my so called buddies number ov’r thirty, so ah really don’ think it’s in ya best interests t’ walk in any further.” He pulled back just a tiny bit, giving her a space to breathe. “An’ ya was headin’ right for ‘em. Now see, me, ah’m pretty generous. Tell me what the f*ck ya doing here, and then ya can be on ya merry away in t’ opposite direction.”
He broke into a grin, just wishing her to defy him some more. Oh, he was itching for a damn good fight. Sure, Malis intended him to have a bit more diplomacy than he was showing now, but this mare was poking around in the middle of the night. “Ya one o’ those damn harpies, tryin’a catch a pretty stallion like me?” She didn’t look like a harpy, but then they took in all sorts these days, he mused, unaware of how absolutely ridiculous he was sounding. Supposedly his herd had a truce with them, but still, he didn’t much fancy get dragged away and turned into a breeding stud. Well. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, in hindsight. A cheeky grin crossed his face. But no, he was a warrior, and his freedom was damn well his. He wasn't about to be bossed around by some mare, or hell, anyone for that matter.cursedandwandering I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG OTL I REALLY LOVE THEM AND WANT TO RP I'M JUST SO DAMN SLOW SOMETIMES. Sorry a million times x.x

Her teeth ground together as he approached her, fragmented body shimmering as he stepped into her personal bubble and spread his wings to show his full glory. The mare flinched, waiting for him to rear up and strike her, but instead the self important idiot kept talking. Well, it seemed the perhaps it was a good thing she'd bumped into this a** as he began to babble about his apparently violent herd. If what he said was true, well, she didn't stand much of a chance against a pack of thirty all trying to pummel her.
She had to make a choice.
Glitch sucked in a breath, as sick as she was of getting pushed around and chased off, it seemed there wasn't much she could do about it this time. At least, that's how it seemed until the stallion voiced his baseless assumptions as to what she happened to be doing at this very moment in his territory. Despite all the threats she couldn't help it when she burst out laughing.
"Me trying to f*cking catch you?" She tossed her head as she cackled, body heaving with laughter " Did your b*tch of a mother drop you on your head as a child?" She stumbled a few steps back, eyes watering with tears as she fought for air between snickers. "And- And what the f*ck is a harpy anyway? Are you insane or do you just have sh*t for brains?" Phail Ninja XD don't worry about it. I am also extremely slow.

As the mare burst out laughing at him, Hakkar couldn't help but feel the tension ease somewhat. Well, that apparently settled that, it appeared she wasn't a harpy. Thankfully. He was definitely not in the mood to be captured as a prisoner and kept for breeding stock. Well, maybe the latter part wouldn't be so bad, but... No. Servitude was not his style of life. He eyed her up for a moment more. She didn't seem like she was ready to fight him, and she did appear to be alone. No obvious weapons, her stance was on edge but clearly not battle ready. Not really a threat, certainly not one he couldn't deal with if it turned out otherwise.
Well, if he couldn't have a fight. At least he could have a bit of fun. She wasn't doing any harm for now anyway, right? He gave her the biggest grin he could muster, preening his neck and giving her a wink. "Ah come on, good lookin' fellow like me, all the pretty mares woul' try to capture me." Slowly his wings settled back against his back, folding in neatly behind his shoulders. "An' ya don' f*cking know what a harpy is? An' ya calling me sh*t for brains? Neighbourin' herd. Mares keep the stallions for makin' foals and tha's it, otherwise they got no f*cking place in th' herd. Most o' em have these weird claw feet instead o' hooves." Her laughter was almost infectious, and he struggled to keep himself composed for the mean time.

"Uh huh," She drew out the words, eyebrow quirked as she looked the stallion over. "Oh yes, i'm sure the mares in this part f*cking love stallions like you. Females really dig an a**hole with a giant ego," she snorted, voice dripping with sarcasm. Not to say her current opponent wasn't attractive, but there was no way she was going to help feed into that narcissism of his. He may have even winked at her, but she knew that in no way would someone like that ever be interested in someone like her other than as a prank and she was none too keen on getting used again.
Clawed females that kidnapped stallions? Her ears swiveled as she took in the information on the other herd that resided in the area. Seemed like she was in a rough part of the forest, even if she was just passing through. "Well, if the rest of your sh*tty herd is like you then i guess it's good there's someone out there trying to keep you all in line." Glitch smirked and blew a strand of hair from her face. "You seem like you'd enjoy all that female attention. Did i perhaps interrupt your attempt at eloping from your herd to join those harpy b*tches?"
