How much Mark Hamill got paid for his role in Episode VII.

Someone asked Mark Hamill on Twitter if his role in the next movie would be bigger. He answered it might be twice as big. lol

I read somewhere that Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill both got low millions for the movie. Fisher had to work a little harder for hers....

I read somewhere that John Boyega (and probably the other newcomers) "only" got a few hundred thousand for their roles?

If that's true, that's quite unfair, isn't it? lol
But I guess Harrison Ford was probably the most expensive on the whole cast by far.

I read an article (can't remember which one) that said it was a seven figure digit. So if it's true, he made over a million dollars. For one day of filming.

I've read that too. Sucks to be a young actor, and even more to be a young actor who signed a multi-picture deal before your movie became the biggest thing ever. If they blow up like they deserve to, they'll do okay in the future, though. Just hope they won't get stuck in genre-actor hell, unable to get anything but Star Wars or Star Wars knock-off roles for the next twenty years.

Maybe they just didn't want us to get distracted by his voice. Not that I'm expecting him to bust out his Joker laugh for Star Wars, but it's hard to hear him talk and not think of about eight different cartoon baddies. Gonna take a while to get used to him as Luke again!
