Biography: Alastor Blade was born to Torik Blade and Kenna Ishikawa. His mother was a Shinigami, but his father what just a thug in Rukongai. His parents grew up together in the bad part of Rukongai, where Alastor spent most of his life before becoming a Shinigami. But one day Kenna went off to become a Shinigami and Torik stayed in Rukongai. Many years later Kenna came to see Torik in Rukongai as a Shinigami, he was now one of the most ruthless fighters in his district and she was in the Third squad, about to be promoted to the tenth seat. As kids Torik and Kenna were in love, but they never declared it to each other until the day she returned. Nine months later Alastor was born, Torik was going to become a Shinigami as well so they could stay together as a family. But shortly after Alastor's birth, his mother was killed by an Arrancar. Desperate for vengeance and power, his father went off to become a Shinigami. But he left Alastor to his brother, Kai, and asked that he never let Alastor know that his parents were Shinigami so that he would not come after him. So he left and after becoming a third seat in Squad Three, he was killed by an Arrancar as well.
Being raise by his uncle Kai, he felt alone in the world, never knowing who or what his parents were. All he knew is that they died, but he was never told how. He grew up in a similar fashion as his father, also becoming the strongest in his district. Kai saw a lot of his brother in Alastor, especially his knack for finding fights. He usually won, with his strengths mostly being in swordsmanship. But should he ever be disarmed he was also pretty good at hand to hand combat. One day he got into a fight and was overwhelmed with the power, he was unaware that his opponent was a Shinigami. He didn't even know what a Shinigami was, his uncle Kai tried to keep as much as he could about his parents as possible from him. Pushing the Shinigami to his breaking point, he released his zanpaktou and was about to kill Alastor. But his uncle intervened, taking the zanpaktou to the chest. In a fit of rage, Alastor's power raised dramatically, taking the Shinigami by surprise. This gave him the opening to kill the Shinigami. After he had buried his uncle, he became ruthless and didn't care about anyone. Instead of simply beating his opponent's when he fought, he killed him. He gained a reputation around Rukongai as a cold hearted ruthless killer.
One day as he was walking down the street and he heard a terrible scream, he turned his head and saw a group of thugs attacking a young girl. He swiftly took care of them, before the girl could come to any serious harm. She thanked him and introduced herself as Kika. She took a liking to him, and he to her but he never really showed it, but somehow she knew. Even with his cold attitude she stuck around him and always had a smile. Occasionally he would smile back. Eventually they had plans to marry and they gave each other a golden ring. The day before they were to be married they were attacked by hollows. He was beat down trying to protect her, he could no longer move. Alastor had to watch as his love died in front of him. Before he could be finished off, the Shingami appeared and took care of the hollows. From that day he wanted to be a Shinigami and then enrolled in the Academy.
Though some would mistake this as him trying to get revenge, Alastor wants nothing more than to bring justice and prevent others from being hurt by the Hollows as he has. In the Academy he was Advanced at swordsmanship, slightly above average in hand to hand combat, and barely passing in Kido. When he graduated, he became a member of the Third squad. Alastor was distant from most everyone and didn't pick many fights. He wanted to leave his life in Rukongai behind, and it seemed that whenever he went looking for trouble someone dies. Keeping people distant from him, he felt he was keeping them safe. Everyone he cared about died so he didn't want that to happen to anyone else. To this day he still doesn't really have friends. His first time using Shikai was out in the living world where he protected his subordinates from being killed by hollows.

Personality: Alastor is really relaxed and cool headed. Outside of battle he likes to talk to girls and relax when he has no other duties. When he does have duties he doesn't complain, he just gets his work done. When he's not talking to the ladies or not doing something important, he is training to become the strongest he could possibly be. In battle he is focused so he can think clearly and act quickly with little to no error, and determined to win at all cost and protect those around him. He doesn't act like he's all powerful and he never underestimates his opponents.
Physical Description: Alastor is tan and wears the standard shinigami shihaksho. He has his zanpaktou at his left side and always has his hands wrapped in a black cloth. Like all shinigami, Alastor also wears sandals. Alastor is thin and fit, muscular but looks skinny with his baggy shinigami shihaksho on. He also has grey eyes and short white hair. A long scar goes down his chest and another on his back. Once he became a Captain, he wore a haori with no sleeves.

The sword in Alastor's right hand absorbs the water in the atmosphere as well as large amounts of his spirit energy. By doing this, when he swings he releases powerful waves of high pressured water that is capable of piercing ones body or destroying objects such as building. While the wave is still connected to Alastor's sword he has full control of the water stream by moving his right sword.
The sword in Alastor's left hand has no special capabilities unless the sword in his right has a stream of high pressured water still connected to it. By slashing his left sword during this time, he can unleash a second wave of high pressured water as powerful as the one unleashed by the sword from the right hand and is controlled the same way with the sword in his left hand. However, these two waves are meant to combine and create a powerful maelstrom. Bankai Name: Ketsueki Misuto Tani (Blood Mist Valley)
Bankai Physical Description: When Alastor releases his Bankai, the sword in his left hand dissolves into a thick mist that engulfs the entire battlefield. The sword in his right hand turns into a Combat Knife that overflows with so much spirit energy from the hilt that water floods out of the bottom of the hilt for 2 posts until the battle field is flooded with water. Alastor's Bankai lasts for 20 posts before it is forced back into its sealed form.

The mist from Alastor's Bankai completely strips his enemies of the ability to sense spiritual pressure. In addition, those within the mist begin to feel a growing sense of paranoia.
The water flooded on the battlefield from the release of Alastor's Bankai can cause multiple illusion clones of Alastor. With the mists ability to block his enemies from sensing spiritual pressure makes it nearly impossible for most people to detect the real Alastor. These clones can not attack and have not solid form, they are used for the sole purpose of distracting the enemy and helping Alastor to assassinate his opponents. Also, not knowing which is the real Alastor tends to help increase the paranoia of his enemies.
Alastor has the same ability to control water with his combat knife as he did in shikai, but instead of absorbing water and spirit energy and then releasing it from his combat knife like his shikai, Alastor can control the water on the ground from his Bankai to create powerful high pressured waves with the movements and slashes of his combat knife. In Bankai, Alastor is not limited to just one wave to control, but can move up to 5 waves of high pressured water at once for about 3 posts.
This ability is the last resort of Alastor, as it takes so much power that no matter how long he has been in Bankai the moment this ability ends so does his Bankai and Alastor is left in a weakened state. Depending on the user, it can withstand quite a bit of force, but after one or two powerful attacks, the barrier will dissolve. If the user of the spell is Captain level, the barrier will last longer than if a Lieutenant or Seated Member were to utilize it.
#30 Shitotsu Sansen: Shitotsu Sansen is primarily used to disable. The practitioner generates a burst of crackling yellow energy in his/her palm and uses that energy to draw an inverted yellow triangle. The triangle then generates solidified energy in the shape of triangles from the three points of the inverted triangle. The fired triangles hit the intended target and pin him/her against a nearby surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in the shape of a perfect triangle and immobilize the target.
#61 Rikujokoro: Rikujōkōrō is primarily used to disable. The practioner points his/her index finger at the target generating a spark of yellow energy. That energy summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams. This technique can also be used after using Hainawa, as the six beams of light form from the light already used in Hainawa.
#63 Sajo Sabaku: Sajō Sabaku is primarily used to disable. The practitioner raises his/her palm up to the target and closes his/her hand into a fist. The spell calls forth a yellow energy in the form of very thick rope to ensnare an opponent, its similar to Bakudō No. 4, but much stronger, this spell binds the upper body of a target. According to Hachigen Ushōda, physical strength alone should not be enough to break out of a Level 60. Bakudō. However, Kensei Muguruma was able to free himself from this Kidō while in his Hollow form.

#4 Byakurai: Byakurai is primarily used for offense. The practitioner points at the intended target with their index finger and generates a concentrated lightning bolt.
#31 Shakkaho: Shakkahō is primarily used for offense. The practitioner generates an orb of crimson red energy in his/her palm or finger. The orb can be any size from small, medium or large depending on the level of power being used. The destructive power released by the blast can vary between a simple explosion to a pillar of energy. In both instances the spell causes concussive as well as burn damage. It is one of the mid-level Hadō spells.

#88 Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho: Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō is primarily used for offense. The practitioner raises his/her arm forward and outstretched, occasionally using their free hand to grip the firing arm for extra support, with the palm facing flat toward the target and fires a gigantic beam of electrical and spiritual energy powerful enough to produce an enormous explosion.
#96 Itto Kaso: Ittō Kasō is a forbidden offensive technique. The practitioner can only activate the spell by using their own body as the catalyst. Due to this effect, Sōsuke Aizen referred to it as the spell of sacrifice. The spell causes a massive pillar of red fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a giant katana's tip. By using this spell, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto lost his left arm.
