So, I am possibly putting together a bunch of friends for a RP. At the moment, it seems to be shaping up to be a Mutant style game, possibly post-apocalypse. The more the merrier, of course, so I am curious if there are any takers here. In the past, things like the Nova Academy were big successes.

The best answer I can give is "steady." I have about four people, possibly five, lined up. I try to make a decent post at least once a day, and others should keep pace with that without too much issue.

Story:

It was several decades ago. The memories still fresh on those that was still alive and not too young to remember. The story always changes depending on who you ask but one thing was clear. It all started because of fear.

Mutants were forced to hide away from humans. They did not wish to harm them after all, there was majority of mutants born from human family and very little mutant family were able to pass on generations. When a mutant would attack, the other mutant would quickly bring that down and the news, government, everything, covered it up depending on the mass scale. It could range from Nuclear accident to terrorist attack.

Then one day. A very smart mutant who hid all his life, away from all the radars that was possible. For a reason. This mutant was able to live in the deepest dark of the ocean, where no human technology could yet reach. The mutant despite humans. No one knew why. Humans said because mutants never had a right mind. Mutants said because humans were horrible to him or her. One thing for sure. It was because of this deep sea mutant that everything changed.

Used the new technology and materials that was in the deep sea of the Earth's core, the Deep Sea Mutant had developed something. For all humans to become mutants. To do that, he would have to surface and create the forumla which means risking to be caught on radar. So the Deep Sea Mutant planned and he or she had planned amazingly well.

Always covered the tracks, mutants were having a hard time searching the home base. They would always find factories but never the home base. Without sleep or rest, the mutants even worked themselves to death just to find it and bring it down before his plans were activated.

And they had failed. A loud explosion set off chain of explosions throughout the world, the mutant had used the Ring of Fire. The clouds contained the deadly gas and humans turned to mutant. Immediately and driven mad, the numbers went from 100% to barely 20% throughout the world. Humans weren't the only one affected; animals and plants were too. Plants overgrew and buildings were nothing but a memory of what was once was. Depending on the area, some locations are still thick with ashes and smoke from the volcano, these areas are not safe for humans or even mutants. Some locations are experiecing winter year around, for the black clouds had blocked the warmth of the sun. The survival for both humans and mutant had became real. Several decades had passed and some clouds cleared but some still loomed over few freezing locations. Mutated Plants and animals had started to thrive while human-mutants and humans are lagging behind in this new adaption.

The already mutants quickly spread with teams to help the virus mutant to adapt and accept their new lives. There was peace... until they discovered that the 10% of the remaining population were immune to the virus. The humans blames all mutant and would kill them on sight. Some mutants don't care and would kill the humans but some humans and mutants don't want civil war at this time...

The Deep Sea Mutant was never heard of again. Many said it went back to the deep sea where it could not be found and sleeping now that it had fulfilled its wish, others said that it's work had drove it mad and it died in the process.... For the time being, both humans and mutant need to learn that they should put aside their differences and work... or the Human race and mutant race would be gone...
