QuanTech
A Chinese research and development company named QuanTech whose primary source of business is robotics. Those who knew of QuanTech know that they are responsible for many innovations in the field of robotics and technology such as bio printers for regenerative medicine and a remote glucose monitor. A small section of the research and development team funded by a shady group were secretly working on a project they named "Ghost". The purpose of Ghost was to take robotics to a new level that no one has ever seen or done before. The kind of advance that many geeks dream of and authors of science fiction have written countless times: a functioning cyborg. If they are successful at this, there are no limits to the possibilities that their creation can do: stronger soldiers for war, more precise surgeons for emergency rooms in hospitals, law enforcement, helpers of common tasks in everyday life and so on. After much research and test simulations, they were confident in creating their first cyborg. However, they needed a human test subject but they cannot reveal their project to the higher ups since they were not aware of their project and if there project ever went public, the company could be shutdown since the funding came from a group notorious for their illegitimate businesses. That can't happen, not until their project becomes a success so they had to resort to kidnapping a young girl to become their test subject. In the end, their project was a success. Unfortunately the company's building mysteriously caught on fire and all those who were involved in this secret project died. Since then, QuanTech never reopened and hardly anyone remembers their existence...

(Name to be determined) posted an ad online about a room available for rent since their last roommate had to move out. About a week later, someone contacted them about their interest in the room. They decided that they would meet this person at a café to ask some questions and see if this person will be a good and reliable roommate. They waited at the café for this person and they were about to leave because they were thirty minutes but just as they were getting out of their seats, she arrived. Yep, the person of interest is a young woman and in their eyes, a very attractive one. She was wearing a police uniform and flashing a pleasant smile towards them as she apologized for being late. Needless to say, the meeting went fantastic and the next day she moved in to the apartment. They wanted to get to know her better and asked her if she wanted to get lunch at some point, to which she agreed. Since having lunch, the two of them became close to the point that this particular roommate got confident in asking her out as their girlfriend. On the night that they were going to ask her out, they discovered something that turned their whole world upside down: their roommate is a cyborg. The cyborg doesn't know that they found out and still continues on as if everything were normal, but what they do next is left to be told.
**Special Note: The terms "they" and "their" is a reference to the gender neutrality of the character. The gender of this character is determined by the roleplayer who play the role of the roommate.
