Life Goes On:
Kaoru has two parents that haven't been in the picture for years. They just left him at the Sohma house to be raised. He considered those who are at the Sohma house to be his true parents and role models. As a child, he had grown a curious eye for nature. On his birthday at the age of six, his cousin gave him a camera, and he's been hooked on photography ever since. In high school, he got in a lot of trouble for taking pictures, some of which weren't exactly appropriate. He seemed happy for a while, until his parents returned.
When he was thirteen, Kaoru learned his parents had another child, a girl. They took some time to raise her, but they gave up on her as well. He didn't know how to act to his sister, so he normally gives her the wrong impression to the point where she thinks he hates her. He normally gets stressed by this, but tries to get on her good side.
Since he is an adult, Kaoru had taken a job as a photographer, doing miscellaneous jobs for little pay, but he didn't mind since he loved his job. This summer, he has decided to try and get closer to his family, and he also wants to try as many different flavors of ramen as possible.
My little secrets!:
Kaoru has a knack for setting up goals for himself and accomplishing them. Despite his appearance and childish act, he is rather smart. He has a bad smoking habit that he is trying to quit since his sister has asthma.
