Anatoli Koshkov was born for this sport. By the time he was in third grade, parents and classmates alike had started to notice the kid who towered over the others. He was a freak of nature at such a young age, but Anatoli truly became one when he put his strength to the test in a few years later. Though the Soviet Son had forever traumatized and scarred his opponent -- a boy two grades above him -- he had walked away without consequence. The name Koshkov was huge in the Soviet Union for two reasons: the egotistical yet prestigous boxer Vladimir Koshkov (Anatoli's uncle), and one of the most corrupt politicians in 20th century USSR, Ruslan Koshkov. With this much hereditary talent, political power, and pressure to be successful, Anatoli became just that.
The only consequence Anatoli had faced was a two-year stint in a Russian prison for assault and kidnapping. He had already been used to a life of violence, and the Soviet Son's brute strength and family reputation kept most prisoners away. The others were humbled quickly.
After being out for a year, Koshkov entered a wrestling promotion in his hometown of Moscow as a way to be violent, make money for it, and have no chance of legal concerns. He finished 34-0 during his short tenure there (23 pinfalls, 8 knockouts, 2 disqualifications, and 1 no-show). Because of the lack of talent and coverage of professional wrestling in Russia, many fans are skeptical of his abilities on a larger stage. Anatoli has thought of himself as superior to every single one of his competitors, and he has an insatiable desire to prove nobody is better than him at survival.
