The bridge to Megido is an ancient structure, built long before recorded history yet still as imposing as the day it was completed, if not more so. Not particularly elaborate, the bridge is a single arch of stone, yet what stuns many who first see it is the fact that that single arch spans the mile wide gorge. Built of immense stone slabs, nobody is certain how the bridge was even constructed at all, but they are thankful for it, as otherwise travel to and from Megido would become a matter of sailing to the other end of the continent and landing who knows where. That, and without the bridge it would become that much harder to predict where and when the monsters from Megido might appear.
The bridge is currently blockaded by soldiers, and nobody is allowed to cross.
