Most tapped their feet, in one way or the other, to the beat of the song--or at least tried to--but not her. Needless to say she was growing tired of this girl's shy act: refusing to be embarrassed by her lack of performance; as it was that any competition was a duet in at least some way; and to believe that any number four of Lilith's could be so... Inert. Walking up to the girl she snatched at her wrist to get a look at what she'd written on her hand.
Fortuantely for Setsuko she had finished drawing, unfortunately for the champ the kanji spelled "Mature". Black smoke swirled around Setsuko and across her skin ending at her finger tips. Snatching her hand back and unfurling her wing to clear the smoke, the mature Setsuko stood up straight. She was a bit taller than her younger self but her clingy black dress with pale skin and red eyes it might as well have been a different person. Folding her wings back up she looked around. "Oh... I remember this."
"You what now?" The champ looked with a little shock at how much more badass Setsuko looked before pulling her badbitch mask back on and taking her turn. We're talkin' full-on dubbot here. The crowd was intensifying, dying down only momentarily for Setsuko's turn to begin.
Setsuko couldn't help but smirk at the display. "Well... No wonder Lilith dropped you." Stepping forwards Setsuko formed her sacred gear. "You may have good moves but what you lack..." Before she finished the sentence Setsuko's wings curled around her for a second and then back. Instead of her black dress she now wore a black lace harem outfit, the gold bangles matching her sacred gear "Is seduction. DJ!" She had been here before so she knew what the DJ had and she knew her outfit would get her that mix. As soon as the beat started her hips began to move.
A couple "ooh"s came from the crowd as Setsuko started scorching the floor with her redhot moves. Soon she was getting a legit rave going was people couldn't help gyrating along as they watched, growing crazier by the second until it was the champ's turn. A cocky grin reeled in her jaw as she nodded to the crowd, dapping it up with her clique as she got ready to get down.
Keeping with tradition, she went with more poplocking. A few cheers from the crowd kept her going, but soon she'd have to go for the smoother moves the song called for. Setsuko won the round, but the champ didn't look like she was about to call it quits today.
While the champs moves were stiff Setsuko's were the opposite, smooth. Unlike her younger self this version of Setsuko was much bolder and not afraid of to flirt, plus she had a nice butt. Leaning backwards till her hands touched the floor she also proved how flexible she was. Mixed with her applause was a lot of wolf whistling and a few cameras going off, most likely to help get them off later.
The challenger had moves, and, more urgently for the champ, had the crowd. She had to do something! Sweating, she knew there was only one card she could play; but could she do it? Could she pull it off? It may not be the 80s or 90s, but the headspin was always the most hype move in dance-offs--GUARANTEED! Especially if you could string together a lot of them. The more spins you did, especially as you began to slow down, the more the crowd would have no choice but to ignore all dissyncrasies it had with the music and lose their freaking minds!
A simple nod told the dj to switch tracks for the champ's final attempt. Taking a deep breath she tipped over and started to center herself on her domepiece. She was in the zone, but obviously nervous. Uneasy, she began to spin. She was really going for it! Picking up speed like she had nothing to lose, but soon she began to falter as if she had everything to lose. Try as she may she fell over. Looking anxiously at the crowd, who'd fallen silent at her failure, she started again, only to topple even more spectacularly.
"No... No...!" At this point the crowd began to chant "NEW BEWBS, NEW BEWBS!--" You know, since they didn't know her name--and were closing in to hoist the new champ up.
Standing up right and shifting her outfit back into her black dress Setsuko couldn't help but smirk. As the crowd closed in Setsuko left behind an illusion of herself for them to carry around while she slipped off to the bar. It didn't take long for her to find Janus and sit down next to her. "You should have told Setsuko about the former members. Maybe then she wouldn't have called on me."

Janus was waiting with her drink in her hand, pondering whether or not certain time paradoxes were involved in becoming more mature in an instant. Hardly anybody else was there with all the hype on the dance floor.
"Slipping away from a crowd of cutthroats like that is the type of thing the number four spot; we tend to call her Setsuko... What's with that, huh?" She said referring to why it was Setsuko wasn't referring to herself in the first person.
"I prefer to think of us as different people." Setsuko's gaze turned to the nearest clock and she sighed. "Alright, I only have a few minutes before the younger one comes back." She turned to Janus and gave her a serious look. "Janus I need you to pass a message onto Lilith for me, you have to tell her this one thing and in 7 years tell me to give you this message."

Janus serious'd up as Setsuko did and listened to whatever it was she had to say. Apparently it was important, involving Lilith like that.
"Sure, hun... Whatever you need." She gave her hand a squeeze. "Just make sure you remember level three."
Setsuko took in a deep breath. "Okay, firstly my sacred gear is called Draupnir. And second, I was adopted. I'm afraid that's all I can give you, Lilith will have to figure out the rest." As the clocks struck the hour Setsuko let out a sigh of relief. "And that's my cue, please do me a favor and stop my younger self from relying on me all the time. Otherwise she'll never learn." And with that said her wings covered her for a moment and the regular Setsuko was left sitting on the stool, still looking a little scared. The crowd was also surprised to find their new idol had vanished as well.

"Adopted? I don't--ok, sure..." Lilith probably knew why all this was important; to Janus it was just another human problem.
The partygoes were starting to scratch their heads and look for their champ. The music even turned down (for what?) for a second! Soon they were sweeping the club trying to find their one and only Set-chan. A teleportation circle was forming under the both of them.
"That's enough clubbing for one night, don't you think?" Janus said as she prepared the hyperdrive. "Close your eyes... It might help with the barfing." And like that they would warp away to the camp for the night. One of the fans who dove for Setsuko face-planted on the bar. Immediately he was swarmed by laughing frat boys and the party went on with many bottles popped and a sound track to make it all vaguely memorable.
