It took Carmine a fair deal of time to notice the tiny present being dragged along by the spider. Suffice to say he didn't have the best eyesight when there was light present. He squinted to get a closer look, but couldn't tell anything new from doing so.

Carmine looked over at Shiki just as the other boil broke into a gleeful grin at their antics. The bat demon couldn't help but share in his excitement and gave a huge grin back, showing off the sharp fangs in his tiny mouth.

Never before had Carmine seen a spider that squinted its eyes, and this only made him wonder if this was actually a spider at all. However, he quickly got distracted and forgot about that train of thought entirely.

When Shiki stopped, it took about three paces before Carmine also stopped and turned back to look at him, tilting his head slightly. When the boil voiced his concerns, Carmine broke out a small smile, "Oh no, those woods are outside of the school campus. The dorms are on the other side of these woods, it's just a small patch of trees really."

He hoped that he was able to calm the kitsune's nerves a bit, and motioned for him to join back up with Carmine and continue their quest in following the party hat spider.

Carmine was glad that the other boil seemed to accept his answer without question and join back in on their fun. Shiki definitely had a better sense of smell and better eyesight, where as Carmine was more or less blindly following where he thought the little spider went.

"Of course we follow it!" Carmine grinned mischievously before bounding into the cave after the spider. There was no way he was going to miss out on a cool cave party if that's what was happening.

Skidding to a halt, Carmine was in awe of the scene before him. Hundreds of minis were decked out to the nines, partying in a cave! There were strobes and lasers, music and a giant table of gifts. Being the glutton he is, Carmine also glanced around looking for a table of food.

Looking back at the little kitsune, the awe in his eyes was apparent, and the excitement in Carmine's was equally so. "I've never seen minis gather like this!" he whispered back to Shiki. There must be a reason that the minis would do this!

He looked around trying to find a reason why a bunch of minis would gather together for a party. Suddenly the lights faded out and everyone was left in darkness for a moment. For that moment Carmine was scared that they might've walked into some kind of trap, but a spotlight came on, illuminating a small stage.

From behind the curtains, out walked a mini that Carmine had never seen before.

Immediately all the other minis began making noises and cheering and dancing. Obviously the party was for that mini. the beat of the music was getting rather infectious, so Carmine started to dance along a bit. He smiled at Shiki, hoping the other boil would join in.

It wasn't long before Shiki joined in the fun of the minis cave dance party they had stumbled on. Both boils in their natural forms blended in fairly well with the minis, they were bigger than most, but a few minis were close enough to their size that nobody seemed to mind them at all.

The music was fantastic, the atmosphere was good, and everybody seemed to be having a grand old time. Carmine only paused once or twice to get a bite of food and something to drink, otherwise dancing the whole night away.

He had no idea how long they had been there dancing with the minis, but it seemed like forever - and Carmine was totally okay with that! He kicked his clawed little feet in various directions, swaying his body to the beat. For the sake of not knocking anybody out, he kept his wings tight against his body.

After what seemed like hours, the crowd of minis began to thin as many of them went back to wherever they came. The host mini, who had been DJ-ing for the majority of the night after his entrance, was greeting the other minis and saying its good-byes.

Carmine tried to stifle a yawn as he looked at Shiki and wondered aloud, "I think the party is ending, we should probably go back to the dorms."

The bat demon was exhausted from an exciting day with his new friend. he hoped there would be many more exciting adventures to come.
