Essence Soft and delicate, the pearl has been a coveted item for many a generation.
Ether Beach sand. That soft, squishy, warm sand that always get stuck to everything in the most ackward places. Yet easily washes off in the waters.

Generally loud and obnoxious. Quick to anger. Can be hateful if agitated for too long.
Essence: Seafoam - Made up of dead algae and other organic material, it is produced by agitation and stormy weather. This stuff can keep building until it covers the coast.
Ether: Tufted Evening Primrose is a diminutive plant with spikey, almost cacti like leaves and a few large (for the plant's small size of a few inches) beautiful flowers. It likes to grow in uninhabitable places like rock beds and steep mountain sides.
