Personality:
Danjuro can be quite over-exuberant, and he is prone to speeches and tangents as well as making dramatic entrances. He is a man with great pride in his fighting style and new home and tolerates no ill words towards it or his master. He protects those he cares about with his life, and has a heart of gold. He thinks of himself as the "Hero of Justice", and the one to punish all evil doers. It is noted that he has a genuine love for children; he would do everything to protect them, and the sight of them being hurt badly and for no reason are one of the things that would tempt him to consider breaking his 'no-kill' policy. Danjuro as always been a wild and rather energetic young man. Many link his savage behavior to his upbringing on a certain island which is evidently the home to many over sized wild beast. It is believed that Danjuro somewhat adapted to the behavior of a wild animal while living on the Island.
Danjuro also has a great love for competition and physical challenges. Presumably suffering from an hyperactive disorder, Kohei almost never sits still. Exercise is Danjuro's primary hobby, running and climbing are specifically two things that Danjuro specializes in. Unlike other humans Kohei has more acute senses. As a result of living on the Island Turtle he has attained a much sharper eyesight and sense of smell. Despite his rough appearance, Danjuro is kind-hearted and sentimental person,He also loses sight of his surroundings when he starts fighting, and does this without concern for everything other than what he is trying to protect.
Always declaring himself the "hero", Danjuro is a relentless optimist and will constantly protect and help anyone in need. Although his heart may be in the right place, his naivety and optimism sometimes rub people the wrong way. He talks and acts before thinking, unintentionally causing trouble and putting others in danger. In fact, his master haughtily describes Danjuro as "arrogant and chummy from the get-go, thinks he's everyone's pal," and that his best quality is being "too stubborn to die."; being easy-going and passionate but unreliable. Danjuro is hot-headed and fearless in the face of danger, not afraid to push his limits and has little regard for authorities.
Danjuro hides whatever guilt he feels by acting optimistic, though doing so causes people to misunderstand him. Additionally, he can be rather perverted—though while lecherous, he is also chivalrous and will protect women and children at all costs; his kindness and unwavering determination of wanting to protect and help those who are important to him despite almost dying by the hands of his opponents really does shine through, causing those around him to become enthralled by him. Danjuro tends to do silly things in battle, including using more strength than is required and using moves with ridiculous names. Being dense, Danjuro has a habit of giving completely impossible explanations for the nature of his abilities.
One of Danjuro's most prominent characteristics is a strong respect towards food and the preparation of food in the kitchen. Since food and sustenance play a crucial role in maintaining life, he strongly believes that his work must be treated as though it were sacred. Danjuro has a strong tendency to become hostile towards those who waste food or regard it in any way that is less than his respect for it. He also is shown to fully believe that anyone who wishes for food should be given food, be it a fellow martial artist or a criminal, such as giving homeless people in a shelter Beef Bowls despite other people refusing to help.
He is famous for openly lamenting, if not outright crying, for the suffering of innocents and the deaths of noble enemies.
He will eat anything. He has remarkable intuition at seeing the good in others in spite of their actions, though his capacity for forgiving his enemies has occasionally been criticized as excessive. His staggering power is simultaneously reined in and enhanced by his fierce loyalty and morality. Danjuro can also be very blunt, and not afraid to express his opinion in a discussion. Despite his kind-hearted nature, Danjuro can feel incredible anger in cases of extreme turmoil, such as the death of a close friend/relative, or when someone murders many innocents needlessly. He has a simple, practical view of the world and is somewhat naive to the world around him. Because of this, many people incorrectly assume him to be somewhat stupid, although once he has a basic understanding of things, he learns very quickly. His most remarkable ability is his will to succeed, his tenacity and persistence. Danjuro can easily be amazed by the simplest things, such as hermit crabs, and can be confused by concepts such as that by digging a hole right next to another he may be unintentionally filling the other hole. Danjuro is pure of heart, possessing no negative feelings or thoughts.
Although he has gained a lot of wisdom in his age and has become only slightly calmer, Danjuro is nonetheless still as spry and hot headed as he was in his youth and still maintains his personality from his younger days. Danjuro has since become a a quirky and lighthearted man in life who loves Augustine and its students very dearly. He appears to have strange mannerisms, like gnawing on the steam of green apple stem or mispronouncing the names of enemies. He enjoys putting students that see him through bizarre tests to help strengthen their resolve, but has high confidence that they will make it through and become stronger. He also seems to be a very weak drinker to the point where he will pass out from a small amount of alcohol. He is also not afraid to make jokes during serious moments and is also forgetful of important things. He is also shown to be very compassionate as evident when his nephew once went against his broke Danjuro's favorite vase, and Danjuro's first reaction was to attend his nephew's injury instead of getting angry. While he is seen as a quirky and light hearted man, Danjuro has shown that he could be serious when the situation called for it although these were often short moments due to his overly cheery behavior.
Bio:
The Young Crimson Cub and The Indigo Lioness
When Danjuro was born in a small village off the coast of Japan and his mother was the only one there to raise him since his father left her, why he did this wasn't known to Danjuro at the time and his mother would never tell him who he was or why he left. Kohei then started training through martial arts, everyone in his village were surprised at how good he was at what he was doing, yet his mother was a powerful fighter from a certain Martial Arts School so some weren't surprised because of this fact. There was one item his mother had that Danjuro truly loved, it was her necklace which was a memento from Danjuro's father who she told him that while they spent some time together before he left, she felt always felt like that he was a demon hiding in a man's body despite his kindness. It was one day where Danjuro, and Shizu were all fishing on the village's lake when they heard the yelling from the village elder, yet thanks to his age it was hard to make out what he was saying. What he was trying to warn them was of a large shadow was going towards their boat, this shadow was much larger than any fish that lived in the lake and rumors of a giant sea serpent running around their island had reached the village elder, making him rightfully fearful for his villagers' well being. By the time they could finally make out what he said, it was too late. The tail that belonged to the shadow had come out of the water like a rocket and destroyed the boat the Itoh family was using, leaving them defenseless in the water. Panicking, the two would begin to swim to shore while the Serpent was busy eating the fish they had caught; it was horrifying, to be fishing with the only family he had then the next next he knew they were trying to escape a Monster. When Danjuro had finally swam to shore, he looked back to see how far behind their mother was and was shocked to see that she she had stayed behind to act as further bait for the Serpent, and the demon took it, devouring his mother in a single gulp. Crying as he saw his mother dead, Danjuro fell to their knees, but it was no time to cry as the Monster began to swim towards the shore and like a snake, it slithered onto the shore and towered over the sobbing Danjuro, ready to devour them. However it did no such thing and slithered to the village elder and said onto him "Every year on this day you must sacrifice two women to me, one of old age and the other of young age." Having no choice but to accept, the water serpent would make his home at the very bottom of the lake.
The Crimson Cub and The Vermillion Ape
A year had passed since the water serpent made his home at the bottom of the village's lake, he ate all of the fish that swam in the lake, depleting the village's food supply considerably. The village people greatly feared this Monster who would soon give them his name: Ukon. As Danjuro now lived alone, he became very distant from the other villagers, believing them to all be cowards for listening to the demands of a over grown sea snake. The day was soon approaching that a old woman and a young woman were to be sacrificed to Ukon and the people selected was the village elder wife and granddaughter. Should they not be sacrificed, Ukon would devour the entire village, not leaving even a single beetle behind. The villagers were both angry and afraid of Ukon, so they all gathered up the money they had so they could hire a professional Demon Slayer and what they got was a fake one who claimed that he had slain hundreds of Monsters. All the villagers believed that he was indeed the real deal, all except Danjuro who not only refused to believe that he was a true Demon Slayer, but also wanted to kill Ukon himself. On the day of the sacrifice, Ukon had arisen to the surface of the lake and was displeased as he saw the fake Demon Slayer rather than two sacrifices. Before the fake could even scream at the sight of Ukon, the Demon devoured him and would soon go on a rampage, eating one villager at a time. Having enough of its tyranny, Danjuro charged at Ukon with the intent to kill the serpent. When Ukon saw Danjuro charging at him, the Demon would charge back at him, ready to devour the child; yet before he could, a vermillion haired man grabbed the snout of the beast and stood between the Demon and Danjuro. This man was built like a mountain and looked like he could carry a grizzly over his head. Sighing to himself, he praised Danjuro slightly for his bravery yet scolded him for his stupidity. In a flash the man had completely destroyed Ukon with a single punch. Amazed at what the man did Danjuro was about to ask him who he was, but was interrupted by the cheers of the villagers who quickly ran to him, crowding him and praising him. With Ukon dead, the villagers threw a celebration in the white haired man's name who introduced himself to them as Tanosuke Izumi. Later that night Danjuro had gathered all of the money he had saved and ran to Tanosuke, begging that he taught Danjuro the ways of the Fist and said he would pay Tanosuke well. Unexpectedly however, the white haired Martial Artist had smashed a bottle of sake over Danjuro's head saying: "Don't think you can get everything by using money." And stood up and began to leave, yet he told Danjuro to catch up and that if he was slow, Tanosuke would leave him behind. Overjoyed, and hurting, Danjuro would gather anything he would take with him on the road, and said farewell to his village as he and Tanosuke left the village. A year after the two met, Danjuro had learned much from the Tanosuke and would experience a lot of training to the point Danjuro nearly lost his life a few times, however he would have to leave but would come back the next month; before he left Danjuro asked him if Tanosuke could take Danjuro to where he learned how to fight. Tanosuke had accepted the request but only if Danjuro could defeat the largest animal on his own in this forest with the fighting techniques he taught him. While he saw this challenge as a giant wall to get over, Danjuro nonetheless accepted it and the old man would leave for a year and would comeback to see Danjuro's trophy, and so Danjuro's hunt for the largest predator in the forest began. He had set his eyes on a massive tiger that had claimed itself the top of the food chain in the forest. Danjuro had tried many times to fight the beast head on and would often have to escape before it ate him. During one of Danjuro's many attempts, he found that the tiger had killed the mother of a very small monkey and the baby was next. While he did not know why, seeing the mother of the monkey killed and its child being helpless to stop the tiger had set something off in Danjuro, making him go berserk and defeating the tiger and as a trophy, he removed one of it's claws and sent it off running. With the baby monkey now orphaned, Danjuro decided to take him in and named him Duran and from then on the two of them would be best friends.
When Tanosuke had finally come back, Danjuro presented him the large claw of the tiger that was at the top of the food chain of this forest. Finding that this trophy was acceptable, Tanosuke would take Danjuro back to his home into the mountains, however they would need to make a stop first.

The Cub and The Azure Tiger
Eventually they found Tanosuke's friend who turned out to be a blue haired man riddled with scars who Tanosuke would explain to him that he would need his help further training Danjuro in order to satisfy the Grand Master. The one eyed man was Kansuke Mita, a former pupil of Tanosuke who saw the potential in Danjuro but despised his eagerness. Without further delay, Danjuro's harsh second level training would begin. Before they could start, Tanosuke had Danjuro promise him that he must always do what they said and no matter what he must not make any excuses and always do his very hardest, unsurprisingly Danjuro agreed. The first step of his training involved him carrying boulders up and down a mountain, each time he failed or succeeded, the boulder he would have to carry would be replaced by a bigger and heavier one. The next training exercise was that he had to climb up a waterfall while avoid rocks, a hard task do to the strength of the rushing water. His next training exercise was balancing on the very butt of a nagita lodged into the ground while holding three buckets full of water, one in each hand and one held by his teeth. The last training exercise was the worst of all, he would have to fight a large bear while unarmed, a task that almost got him killed several times. Each day he would have to perform these exercises, their order always at random. However the exercises weren't the only harsh things he had to experience while training, he would also have to spar against both Kansuke and Tanosuke at the same time and they came at him as though Danjuro was their worst enemy. It took a total of four years before these exercises and the sparring became easy to him as he was built to the very peak of physical human condition. He could carry the heaviest of boulders, balance on the nagita for an entire day, climb up a waterfall with ease, and defeat a grizzly bear with his fists. His training now completed, the three would now make their way to the Mountains and to the Grand Master.
The Crimson Cub and The Bronze Ox
While the journey there was long and filled with enjoyable exploits, the three finally made it to the guild known as Solar Wind. It was a relatively small guild with only eight members including the Guild Master. Before they took Danjuro to meet each of the other five members who were all built like mountains just like Tanosuke and they all acted like delinquents which made Danjuro slightly nervous. Once the introductions with the Martial Artists were made, Tanosuke would take Danjuro to see the master who, to Danjuro's surprise, was a Giant! The Grand Master's name was Kadonomaro, a Giant who was once a bandit on the island who was simply known as the Bronze Ox. The instant Kadonomaro saw Danjuro, he would grab the young red haired Martial Artist and lifted him up to his face, asking him if he wanted to become strong and in no time at all, Danjuro nodded and with that nod his training with the mastery of the Sun's Aura began. To first start this training, Danjuro would have to do bunny hops while carrying a boulder on his back, which actually made Danjuro thankful for the training Kansuke and Tanosuke gave him. Then he would have to meditate while balancing a bucket of acid on top of his head, if he moved even an inch the acid would spill on him. These were just two examples of the many grueling training he had to do which both Kansuke and Tanosuke admitted that the training he received from them was to prepare him for Kadonomaro's training. By the time he was twenty he had finally completed the training and mastered not only Burning Ambition, but also three forms of Yashin-Tekina ō no ken, making him a candidate to be the next Grand Master after Tanosuke.
It was one day after Danjuro had returned from training that he found that the Monastery was on fire! Panicking, he would rush in and saw that a majority of the members were dead, including Kansuke. It would not be long however when he heard the scream of Tanosuke in the next room and busted down the door without thinking. Horrified by the sight, he would raise his old master's torso up in hopes that he could breathe easier yet it was all for naught as he started to tell Danjuro that he used to be from the village where they met and the love of his life was expecting a child, yet he had to leave her so that his life as a martial artist would not put her in danger or make her feel sorrow should he die. It was then that he told Danjuro that the last he saw her was twenty years ago and that he wished he could have met his child. But before Danjuro could tell him that his son was the one he taught, Tanosuke had passed, not knowing that Danjuro was indeed his son. Enraged and saddened that his only family left had died before him, Danjuro would charge to the next possible location of the assailant, the Grand Master's room and when he arrived there, he saw that Kadonomaro had a extremely large hole in his torso. Seeing his student before him, Kadonomaro would chuckle and told Danjuro to go to Japan and inform a man by the name of Genjo Ogura of his and the others' demise and that their deaths was by the hands a man named Tatsuzo, a powerful Martial Artist who once studied their martial art. With this last order, Kadonomaro passed. Once again Danjuro had lost people close to him, it was infuriating...Out of respect, he would remove his coat and shirt and carve the kanji of four of the Yashin-Tekina ō no ken Practioners' first names into his right bicep and the other three, including the Master's, into his left bicep, and finally he would carve the kanji of his Mother's given name into his left peck and his Father's given name into his right peck. This tradition was apart of Yashin-Tekina ō no ken's history, it was to honor the dead and make the carver never forget their names or a desire to avenge them.

The Crimson Lion and The Emerald Sparrow
Wounded and cold, Danjuro eventually made it down the mountain and back into civilization. After several months passed since he lost his family a second time, Danjuro's wounds had finally healed but they would be left as scars and he had done a few odd jobs before making enough money to sail to the coast. Upon arrival, things were rough for the young man had met with difficulties, he had no where to stay and food was hard to come by which would force him to do several odd jobs around the city. It was one day where Danjuro had earned enough money from helping out a old woman and doing odd jobs where he could buy enough food to last him and Duran a few days. When he got the food, he came across a man who was gravely injured, he was covered in bruises and was bleeding heavily. Danjuro went to expect the body further, but was startled when the man tried to grab onto Danjuro, he would then run from the man only to run into several other men, each wearing a suit as though they were with the mafia. The men asked Danjuro if he had seen a heavily injured man and Danjuro said "I saw a man covered in wounds running towards downtown" Danjuro had lied to them, and they believed him. Danjuro would then go back to the man and told him about the men who were looking for him. The man thanked Danjuro for helping him and got up and told Danjuro to meet him back at the same spot where Danjuro had found him in one day.
Despite being creeped out by that, Danjuro listened to his instructions and went back to the same spot where they had met, it was awhile before the man showed up, but when he did, he offered Danjuro something great, to live under his roof and never have to live the horrors of being homeless again. Danjuro instantly took his offer and went to go grab any belongings he had back where he slept. After a year of being with the man, he told Danjuro that he was a former Master of the Yashin-Tekina ō no ken Martial Art. Upon hearing this, Danjuro had realized that this man was who he was looking for and knowing that, the young Martial Artist had told him of what happened. Hearing Danjuro's story, the man decided to teach Danjuro how to use the Wind's Silence form.
The training had started with Danjuro increasing his speed, dexterity, and reflexes my dodging arrows. The training was hard and the sparring with Genjo had almost costed Danjuro his life several times. It took five months before Danjuro had mastered the use of Burning Ambition to it's well enough to the point where the man told Danjuro that it was time for the final test for Danjuro to become a true master of Yashin-Tekina ō no ken. For the final test, Danjuro was blind folded and taken into a deep forest. There Kohei was tasked with killing an attacker who used a similar martial art. Despite the circumstances, Danjuro had killed the attacker with ease and removed his blindfold to see who he had killed, and was shocked to see that it was the man who had taken him in under his roof and trained him. Danjuro shouted at the man, asking him why he was the attacker. Genjo explained that Wind's Silence was a form where only one master was permitted, that it was a martial art started by his family and it was passed from parent to child, and that the man saw Danjuro as his brother as Kadonomaru was Genjo's father. Saddened to the point where Danjuro was crying as hard as he could, Kohei eventually buried the man's body in the spot he was killed and Danjuro had carved the kanji of his given name into his right forearm and returned to the home they had shared. After several months had passed since the man's death, Danjuro had become a dedicated man and a student who lived everyday to his best ability, all for the men who had taken him in and died for his sake.

The Crimson Lion and The Umbra Dragon
Five years had passed since the death of Genjo and Danjuro was eager to travel the world. He had been venture around the world fighting many humans and monsters alike and never lost a single bout, something that saddened him. He had used the five forms taught to him by is previous Masters, defeating one Champion after the other. It was then one day, he was confronted by a Old Man as a challenger that was covered head to toe with scars. This Old Man went by the name of Takakazu Sunada. Gracefully accepting the fight, Danjuro and the old man began the fight. This man was truly powerful and in many instances during their fight, he had the upper hand. Takakazu had used a brutal and unforgiving fighting style that had Superhuman level's of skill and strength. Having the desire to defeat him, Danjuro was prepared to use one of ashin-Tekina ō no ken's secret techniques, one that he was confident would take out Takakazu with one shot. Before Danjuro could do that, the fight was interrupted by a woman who was merely twenty three. She had begged the man Danjuro was fighting to stop, and he listened without upholding an argument! What was this woman to the man? She was evidently his only daughter, Mariko. What caught him off guard was that Mariko boldly requested that Danjuro stayed with her and her father for awhile, the request caught both Danjuro and her father off guard. Having no choice thanks to her constant begging, the two men had no choice but to accept her request. Within time, both Danjuro and Mariko would fall in love and he would marry her with her father's blessing. Danjuro was now married to someone who he truly loved, someone he wished he could protect always. After Mariko became pregnant, Danjuro would remain in the village she and her father lived in, to enjoy his new life. As their child, Yujiro, was born, he had received all of his father's traits, his son was a werewolf as well. Not only had this saddened him, but he also feared that his son could become a monster like him. For the first year of their son's life, Danjuro had performed his role as a father very well as did Mariko, sadly she had fallen gravely ill to the point where she was always coughing up blood, the illness was terminal and it was this fact alone that Danjuro would once again set out to the world to find her a cure. Sadly no matter where he looked, he could not find a cure for his wife, not even the best doctors were capable of dealing with such a mysterious disease. Due to the lack of promise and the little time his search had, Danjuro had no choice but to return without any cure. When he returned, Mariko had apparently died from her illness, she died while singing Yujiro a lullaby to calm her precious child down who had been crying because he missed his father. Takakazu was not angry at Danjuro for not finding a cure because he had tried his best to do so and he knew that his daughter would not forgive him if he were to be angry at her true love over something that was not his fault. Wishing to leave and never return to anyone, Danjuro was about to leave only for Takakazu to give him a punch so hard that it had sent Danjuro through their house and against the mountain behind it. Takakazu had grabbed Danjuro by the throat and gave him information that he shaken Danjuro completely. It had turned out Takakazu was the man who destroyed the Monastery and killed the other Practitioners. He had done it after Kadonomaro had denied Danjuro the right to be the next Grand Master and his hate for Kadonomaro overwhelmed him. Knowing this, Danjuro had struck back and the two would resume their fight back hen they first met. The fists they exchanged were both full of sorrow, especially Takakazu who regretted everything he had done. Their fight had lasted for an entire day, leaving both of them with little energy and one punch to spare and only one of them would live. Without any other words to spare, the two had thrown one last punch at one another, Takakazu's grazing Danjuro's cheek while the young man's striking his Father-in-law straight to the chest, causing his death. Danjuro had realized something however, Takakazu had done this to not only make amends for Danjuro, but to also make Danjuro realize that there was still someone who was dependent of him, his son Yujiro. With this in mind, Danjuro had decided to raise his son by his lonesome so Yujiro would not be alone.
The Crimson Lion and The Wayward Cub
Although he was in still deep grief, Danjuro would still raise his son. When he became old enough, Danjuro would tell his son the stories of his adventures and all the fights he was in. In the village they lived in, Danjuro worked as a hunter, using his instincts and experience in the forests to hunt many prey while keeping his savage nature in check. Yujiro greatly respected his father for being the best hunter in the village to the point where he would often beat up other kids if they spoke ill of him. Whenever Yujiro did this, Danjuro would scold him and make his son apologize to the kid he beat up. It was one day where a man that wasn't from the village had bad mouthed Danjuro this time, calling him a loner and a freak; Yujiro would strike the man out of vengeance but when he did so, the man actually punched Yujiro in the face and stood over him, ready to stomp the child to death. As this was about to happen, the man had found that his back was broken and was up against a tree! Yujiro's latent Burning Ambition had awoken when he sensed danger from the man, his intent to kill. With them activated, Yujiro's strength had increased ten fold and he had punched the man so hard that his rib cage and back broke. Realizing what had happened, Yujiro would run home, leaving the man to bleed out and die. When Yujiro had got home, he told his father what happened in tears, that he had blown away a grown man with no effort. Upon hearing this, Danjuro became greatly depressed, he knew this day would one day come, he had only wished that it didn't while Yujiro was still a child. After calming him down, Danjuro explained to Yujiro that he too could use Burning Ambition, that the ability to use it came naturally to their bloodline. This was a great shock to Yujiro, he was the same as his Father. Determined on keeping Yujiro's abilities under control, Danjuro would have no choice but to teach his son how to use his power to their fullest. Like his father, It took time for Yujiro to master his abilities, but Yujiro was eventually able to fully use his Burning Ambition. Proud of himself, Yujiro thanked his father for helping him, yet Danjuro was very sad by this, his son now knew how to use his abilities. One day however, Yujiro learned that he could heal himself and others with a large portion of his Burning Ambition thanks to a wounded bird and when he learned this, he could only feel rage towards his father as Yujiro has been jealous of other children who had mother's that cared for him. It was then that Yujiro ran away out of anger. This had greatly depressed Danjuro because even though Burning Ambition could heal someone, the state Mariko was in was far too severe for him to heal her.
The Crimson Lion and The Academy
After searching for years for his son, Danjuro had eventually given up, figuring that they were destined to one day meet each other again one day until then he would continue to travel the world. However he had come across something else, it was a Academy full of supernatural creatures which had greatly amused him and with that he had become the new counselor thanks to a letter he had written to the Headmaster stating that he wished to help the students with everything he could.

Abilities:
Burning Ambition
- Burning Ambition is noted to be a special fusion of the ambition and the life energy. Burning Ambition is based on using the energy of one's ki to empower the body and give them the ability to fire off blasts of Ki. Burning Ambition has been known to work as a form of regeneration, increasing one's healing rate in exchange for a large sum of energy. This can also be used to heal others with the same cost. With the addition of Burning Ambition, one's blows possess phenomenal stopping power, making one demonstrate destructive power far in excess of many other beings. Burning Ambition also increases the body speed of the user, allowing someone to throw 50 punches in three seconds or even run faster than even highway speeds. By applying Burning Ambition to his legs, he can jump up 9 meters into the air. Danjuro is even able to sense the life force of others.
Danjuro can focus Burning Ambition into his body so that he can increase his physical abilities. This greatly boosts the strength of his physical and Impact attacks (i.e punches and kicks) to the point where simple hits can shatter boulders or shatter pillars. An example of Burning Ambition's strengthening properties allowed a single punch from Danjuro to split a rock that was five meters thick. Upon activation, Burning Ambition can be extremely powerful and able to level normal opponents with ease in a single punch. Do to the enhancing properties of the energy, Danjuro is naturally able to completely use every muscle in his body while under normal conditions most humans use only 30 percent. Even chimps can be 4 times stronger than the average human because they can use every muscle in the body. This is because their body structure allows them to do so. 100% muscle usage is different from peak human strength in that it has little to no relation to actual muscle mass. While having more muscle mass does increase the overall strength, someone of average physical strength who uses 100% of their muscle capability could overpower someone with Peak Human Strength (who would be using the normal percentage). It is believed that at full strength of Burning Ambition, Danjuro can punch through several layers of steel and other hard materials. Burning Ambition even allows Danjuro to pull even more supernatural feats such as breaking illusions and even defying the ability of walking.
Danjuro can even release his Burning Ambition as a energy in the form of Impact Waves. These shock waves can be used for defensive purposes, such as deflecting projectiles or physical attacks by casting the Impact Wave in front of the attack, lessening the blow. As offensive means, Impact waves can be used for close-quarter combat, increasing the momentum and strength of Danjuro's physical attacks. Danjuro can also generate shock-waves that can push targets over, repulse them away, and even punch hole through stone. The main difference between ordinary shock waves and Impact, is the fact that Impact Waves collide with the target (be it for defensive or offensive means) as an actual collision. The Burning Ambition energy is compressed to the point where it becomes semi-solid and then released to strike the opponent as an impact, hence the name. Danjuro can even lob rapid strikes without the need to move the rest of his body.
Burning Ambition can also come off as an aura. By giving shape and size to his aura, Danjuro expands his aura until a certain distance giving it any shape he desires such as a sphere or just a normal aura, by then, anything that enters the area covered by the aura which can be invisible will be felt by Danjuro. Danjuro is able to extend it to a very big distance, with the highest being so far 15 Meters. This technique also has a more faster version in which Danjuro gathers the Burning Ambition fastly as he bursts it towards an area, both people who were and who weren’t hit by the burst will begin to see the illusion of a Oni .Fear will begin to be instilled into the opponent due to the frightening features made by the Monster which appears as a non-physical manifestation of Danjuro’s aura and strength. It is described as the power which imitates real a true Monster's immense aura. His immense aura being unleashed can also give someone the feeling as though their body feels heavy, breathing being difficult, and even feeling faint depending on the strength of those within his aura's range.
While Burning Ambition may seem to be unbeatable, Danjuro can become momentarily powerless if any of these conditions are met: Danjuro's will and ambition is broken or if he uses too much Burning Ambition to the point of exhaustion, which is very possible as Danjuro has a tendency to not hold back. So if one can break his will or survive long enough for his Burning Ambition reserves to be low, a strong chance of victory is assured. It should also be noted that Kohei is not invincible with this ability, it just makes him a very tough opponent.
