She frowned a little. That didn't sound like he was sure about it all. But she wasn't going to push it. "If you're sure of it." And then he distracted her with food. Her stomach growled loudly at the thought. She squeaked, blushing as she tried not to rip open the pack he'd brought her in the attempt to pull out an apple of her own. Guardians was she hungry. it turned out all the skills she'd managed to learn about gathering fruits weren't all that great. That or they were just in a barren area and she didn't realize it. "Oh my gosh, these apples look amazing!" She bit into it, and another, finally pausing at the third to listen to what Elias was saying.
"Mm.." crunch, "I can get us back if we can get back to where we met up?" crunch, munch. At least, if they could get back to their lost packs, Siofra knew the trip back had plenty to stop and snack on. She'd managed to pad her own pack with it the first time. Siofra made a mental note to ask Lelly to show her how to sew better. She really needed a marketable skill. Gathering fruits and veggies was great, but she didn't know nearly enough about it.

"Ok," Elias said with a firm nod of his head as he set off in the direction of the familiar path he took to the clearing that would lead him back to the spot where they had crashed into each other this time. Elias was silent, he couldn't help but replay his departure over in his mind, even if he was set on his decision. He tried to shake it out of his head, focus on the fact that he was going to be living near Siofra, and get excited again.
"What are your parents going to think of me?" He said with a nervous laugh. He wasn't entirely sure if Siofra had meant that he was moving in with her or just moving into someplace in her village. Either way, he was imagining the look they might have when Siofra brought home a boy.

Siofra reached out, grabbing his hand. She was worried about him. Was this really a good idea if his family made him feel like this for leaving? Did suggesting it make her a terrible pae?
"My parents are gonna think you're awesome~" She chimed, trying not to let the worry penetrate the mood they'd had going before this. Guardians help, she was pretty sure this wasn't a good idea anymore. "They may not be thrilled at first, cuz I'm bringing home a boy... But I think they'll be pretty stoked when they realize there's more than just me." Siofra chewed her lip, thinking about that one. She was of course, referring to the fact that they were probably the only two weird looking faun things on the island. She still had no idea what kind of pae lived in that tree Elias had, but there was plenty of time to question him about it later. "I'm more worried about what Soliel is gonna think. She's already got to be mad at me right now..." Her sister was always more important than anyone else. That was her sister!

Elias smiled, thinking that at least he had nothing to worry about with her family. Then again, maybe he did. "What part do you think your sister won't like?" Elias asked, thinking that Siofra's sister couldn't get too mad at her, they alway seemed so close when Siofra spoke of her. "I promise I won't steal you away from her." It seemed they had changed roles and that she was now the worried one, he felt bad, but in his mind this was still a good idea.
"I'll try and help out and stuff..." Elias tried to encourage her. He wondered again how things might go. Perhaps he should make it super clear that they were just friends, maybe that would make her family more accepting of this.

Siofra smiled, completely sure Lelly was going to love him. "She's going to think you're awesome Elias~" She laughed a little, her own worries about everything clearing up a little. Even if it was just a tiny little bit. "Oh don't worry, she wouldn't let you~ I'd go crazy if you tried to steal me all away" Yup yup. Completely insane. He offered to help out, and it had her worries and fears creeping up into her mind again.
"I'm sure it'll be fine. Momma and Daddy always want to make everyone feel right at home. So long as you find a place to help, you'll fit right in~" Siofra nodded, certain of that. Of course, she'd said it for her own assurance just as much as she'd said it for him. Surely this was meant to be, since Elias was coming home with her. Home~ The idea made her smile. "You're gonna love it~"

Elias took a deep breath, nerves and excitement fluttering within his chest. "I hope so." He responded. Not only did he hope that her family liked him, but he was also hoping that it would be everything he had felt like was missing from his life. Sure, it wasn't like he would get any answers from living there, but maybe answers wouldn't matter anymore. "You think we're almost there?" Elias asked her, wondering how long he had to go back and forth between being nervous and excited. Either way, he was made up on his decision and not turning around now.
