It's not opera. It's a video game theme written in the style reminiscent of a mixture of chant and folk song but definitely with twenty-first century purposes and influence in mind. The game's in-game world is like an amalgam of German, Nordic, Celtic, and Oriental themes, which explains the music's overall sound. I believe that the language it uses is German, but I can't be sure. Most of them use Germanic languages because of the in-game history.
This particular one is from .hack//GU and plays while the player explores the Lost Ground known as "Indieglut Lugh."
