RULES
1: No godmoding! Ever! I shouldn't have to tell you what constitutes godmoding, but I will.
Autos: Doing things: hitting people without permission in combat/killing without permission, moving somebody's character for them, etc. As long as it takes the permission of another to finalise the action, it can be considered an auto if you skip the approval stage.
OP: Being just too freaking powerful to deal with. This is not taking hits as well as being able to take seemingly infinite punishment. This is being able to use infinitely many large attacks without becoming tired. In general, just being so ridiculous that you break the universe.
2: Honesty
Some people out there like to get their profiles approved and then add things without quoting for approval on the updates. No bueno. Also, some like to do things with their characters which aren't stated in their profiles. That's just out of the question.
3: Quotes
Nothing will get looked at--at least not on time--without proper quotation. Quote all the captains if you want to hedge your bets on an early approval.
4: Suggestions
Please follow all our suggestions. I will always listen to appeals, but if things are getting too ridiculous or we have complaints about you I will be forced to force you to follow the crew rulings.
5: Be Nice
I mean, we're all here to have fun. Most of us probably RP to unwind after a long day--you know, escape into a world of makebelieve--and the last thing you want is some jerk getting up in your britches about something that has no real effect on anything anyway. Do yourself and everyone else a solid, huh? Don't be that jerk. A rage-free zone starts with you! C:
6: Literacy
So, now that we've covered rage, let's talk about one of the most enraging things ever in roleplaying: illiteracy. As an aspiring writer, this is pretty much the bane of my existence. Look, I get it, you aren't a walking thesaurus with a grammar guide inside. You don't have to be! Internet: you're welcome! Please, just try, huh? Start slow, maybe work on your "yours" and "theres" and then work your way up to who and whom, and then parenthetic expressions, and then the wily semicolon! ... Please?
7: Activity
If you're going away for more than two weeks, let us know. The main RP has a strict three-day-skip policy. If you're being skipped for a couple cycles we're going to just start RPing at our normal speed again and effectively kick you out of the scene. Sorry, but this guild has plenty of places to keep you active. Again, if you could just let us know so we can move at normal speed without holding our breaths for three days at a time, that'd be super.
8: Exit Strategy
It doesn't matter if you post the same character in different thread in different SECTIONS, but please let us know if you're leaving a thread regardless, because things get confusing otherwise. If you say something to imply you left, I won't hunt you down for not posting the [Exit], so don't worry. Just don't be in two places at once in the same section.
