Personality: Komaru has a cheerful and optimistic point of view, taken from her older brother. Usually because she looks up to him. Other times, Komaru shows some childish traits, such as being very naive, reliant, and easily excitable. She also has an 'unusual' kind of pride, as she gets really worked up from puzzles, as if they're looking down on her. When she solves their puzzles, she brags towards them.
Komaru is also very gullible when people tell her things that are obviously false, and Komaru easily believes them to be true. She is rather innocent and doesn't seem to have much interest in romance nor sexual things.
Despite sometimes giving up too easily, there are other times which Komaru shows how stubborn and determined she can be. However, she has a weakness in complicated subjects such as basic computer science, but she does have moments where she is intuitive.
History:
While Makoto Kusanagi was having the worse day ever. So bad, that not only was it considered a supernatural act, but his luckiest day ever, it also had an effect on Komaru Kusanagi. Unlike Makoto, she was having a great day during this event. Komaru decided that today she would try something different. She was given the charm by her elderly neighbors, in which the old lady had thanked her for her help that she and Makoto had done for her.
Makoto misplaced his, while Komaru had kept hers. As she went to school with the charm, the first thing that happened was that she accidentally saved a student from a mean prank that was going to be played on him, by accidentally opening the door in the face of the mean student that pulled the prank. That caused her to have made a new friend to hang out with.
The rest of her friends had decided to pitch in to help her with her school project the night before. the teacher was known to be extremely mean, had suddenly came in a good mood. The project that she and her friends worked so hard for, was then given the best grade in the class. Her favorite lunch was in her lunch bag, and she even got to speak to her crush at school. On her way home, this businessman in a suit and a strange box had asked for directions, where she told him that it would be faster to take a bus. That was then when he left, that she felt something in her stomach churn a bit. She thought it was just exhaustion to where she would go home and rest.
That was the very end of her good luck, as she woke up from her nap, as she found that she was changing... And it wasn't a normal change, as she saw that her weapon form was beginning to take it's appearance. She kept it a secret, and had went on with the day.
Later that night, everyone wondered what was going on with Makoto, since it was weird for her brother to come home extremely late at night. Meanwhile, Komaru had explained to her parents the day that she had, and her mother felt so happy, that she gave Komaru a letter of acceptance from Death Weapon Meister Academy which spoke to both Makoto and Komaru. That was the moment that her parents had told Komaru that they were both different from ordinary humans. Makoto had the soul of a Meister which was from their mother, and the soul of a Weapon was passed down from their uncle who was a retired teacher from the academy.
The moment, Makoto finally came home, he looked like he went through war. He was dirty, slightly cut up, and was sweating badly. And it was weird for Makoto to be coming back from a cab. After telling his parents all the things that happened, it was at first hard to believe, but when Makoto spoke of a floating soul that escaped from the guy, Komaru had realized that it was that same man in the suit that she spoke to.
That was when she remembered to give Makoto the letter that they have gotten from DWMA. Both of them were amazed, as their parents explained as to why the events happened, and what they were. Komaru was excited about this, while Makoto was nervous. The two went to their uncle, where they both practiced arts of fighting and transformation in a week. They were both highly different from eachother. Makoto would tire out easily yet never give up as he would continuously fight until he wins. While Komaru had so much potential but was limiting herself. That was something that the two must overcome themselves, as they left.

----Abilities and Techniques Information----
Rush Raid
- A Meister and Weapon ability, where Makoto throws Komaru towards the enemy, When in weapon form.
Blitz
- Makoto takes Komaru in weapon form, and slam his blade to the floor to issue out a small shockwave.
Speed slash combo
- Makoto and Komaru differentiate between weapon and human form to attack the enemy with a six hit combo.
Aerial Raid
- Makoto holds Komaru's weapon form with both hands as he attacks with a rising upper slash that sends Makoto in the air through force and momentum.
Flash Dive
- While mid air, Makoto takes hold of the weapon and goes for a stabbing motion towards the floor.
Flash Step
- Utilizing a fake-out move, Makoto tosses Komaru in the air, where she will transform to human and try to get behind the enemy to take hold of them, as Makoto proceeds to attack from the front while the enemy is held down.
Half transformation
- Komaru can transform parts of her body in the form of a blade from her weapon appearance.
Soul Resonance: Witch Hunter
- A traditional Soul Resonance attack used by scythe Meisters to attack evil, such as witches, hybrids, and demons. Komaru, while in weapon form, transforms the blade to shift itself to the shape of a scythe, using the Meister's Soul Wavelength as the blade.
