Sikukuu Pride

The days were cool and crisp with gusts of biting wind, and the nights were cold and unwelcoming. But if the weather was cold, the mood among the celebrants and guests was warmer. Some prefered to walk in silence, thinking about the good things in life. Others took the time to give thanks to the various Gods and Goddesses they happened to worship. Temporary altars had started to crop up a couple of days ago, maintained by the Vuli clan, and those so inclined were welcome to leave food, gifts and trinkets there.

Spontaneous singing and dancing helped keep everyone warm, and merchants seemed to be everywhere offering their wares. And if nothing else catches your fancy there's plenty of food for everyone to enjoy!

Who can join the RP?
- Sikukuu members of all ages
- Rogues of any species and age, but young ones should have a caretaker nearby IC. (or someone might try to adopt them...)
- Members of other prides, but young ones need to have a caretaker nearby IC.
- Non lined creatures if you don't have a pride member or a suitable rogue.

Will there be prizes?
- Probably not, this is just for fun!

User ImageThis was Jellon's season, so of course he tried his best to help. Being a young adult with little experience of his own season, he tried his best not to be in the way. Mostly succeding, he hoped. So far he'd helped build an altar to Haddi, the God of Games. It felt a bit awkward, and he hoped the God would approve... He'd also helped show some of the vendors from outside the pride where they could set up shop. Right now he was supposed to make sure the food was plentiful, and that involved a lot of running and carrying things. Whew... As soon as he was back with a new load it seemed the party goers had polished off his last (and then some).

He shook his mane out of his eyes and sighed as he set down the food. It looked really good, and he wondered if he'd be able to take a break and taste some soon. As a celebrant he had no set tasks, but that seemed to mean that anyone could ask for his assistance.

Several of his siblings had opted to learn the trade of their father and work as bouncers, and some had even switched clans. He looked around to see if he could spot Schokolade or Faelan. If there was going to be trouble somewhere it was probably here, in the middle of the feeding frenzy. With a shrug he went towards the area where fresh food was stored, ready for another heavy load.

User ImageBaridi wandered around, watching the crowds. Her nostrils moved as a scent of food wafted her way. Later, maybe. The feast was always crowded until the hungriest ones had stuffed themselves, and she didn't mind waiting. A group of rowdy animals had started a spontaneous dance, and others sang and cheered them on. She suspected a performer or two might have started everyone up, but by now they had been joined by plenty of enthusiastic amateurs.

The hyena was not interested in dancing or singing, so she found a spot where she could watch without getting drawn in by the happy celebrants. Her paw tapped along to the improvised tune, but other than that she didn't participate.
