Personality:
To put it simply, Hecate is a drama queen. She lives for the theatrics of life and would hardly ever give it up. Temperamental and hypocritical, it can be hard to get along with her. One moment she could be doting over you lovingly, the next she could be dragging you away to feed to her dogs. These shifts in attitude lead to her being a little unpredictable in her actions and feared by many of her children. It was said that when in a rage, only her husband, Unadone, could pacify her. All of this being said, she is withstood by many of the other gods and feared by her children.

Lucian's antics, disrespect, and fowl language.
Biography:
Born to Perses and Asteria, Hecate is much older than most of the gods. Her existence predates even Zeus. Yet Zeus showed her such favor and gifted her greatly. This made her a little spoiled. She enjoyed almost constant worship from mortals in the early ages and to say she loved the attention is an understatement. She bathed in the glory she was given. But as time went on, this reverence faded, much to her dismay. She continues to vie for the attention of mortals to this day in an attempt to relive those days of old.
She married the Grand Djinn, Unadone, and with him had many children. Although in the beginning of their relationship, the two were inseparable. However, as millennia passed, the two drifted away. Hecate began to spend more and more time in the Underworld in the presence of her friend Persephone. She felt more at home here than in the presence of Unadone. Eventually, she took up almost full time residence in the Underworld. This is where her residence remains.
Abilities:
Witching Hour
In the dark of night is when Hecate is most powerful. The Witching Hour is the time when her magic is most powerful. At this time, she can summon multiple ghosts and spirits to aid in her endeavors.
Harboring of the spirits
Being the goddess of ghosts, Hecate can summon willing ghosts to come to her aid. However, this cannot happen unless the ghosts in question are willing to aid her.
Magic
Being the goddess of magic and witch craft, Hecate's knowledge of magic is total. She is feared by the djinns for her sheer ability. This being said, she refuses to perform any sort of Black Magic.
Weaknesses:
In midday, Hecate's powers are not nearly as strong. In fact, she is rather lethargic during the day.
Strengths:
Keeping her children in check and her magical competence. Her slight madness does make her a little hard to predict in everyday situations, which can cause a sense of unease about her casual opponents.
Extra?:
She owns many, many dogs. Some of her favorites are Orthos, Laelaps, Mauthe, Maera, Surma and Fenrir.
