ALRIK VAN WOLVENHEIN

【b a s i c . i n f o】

Picture!: User Image

Username: Holy Hakaishin Hiroto

Name: Alrik Van Wolvenhein

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Werewolf

Defining Features: Silver Hair, Silver Eyes, The Wolvenehin Family Birthmark located at the nape of his neck.

Sexuality: Heteorsexual

Position: Student

【a b o u t】

Likes: Meat, Sleeping, Not doing any work, The occasional fight, His little sister.

Dislikes: Silver, His Father, Death, the Phantasm Curse, Having to do work, Getting lost

Attitude: Lazy, Naive, Forgetful.

Personality: Alrik seems to be very laid-back and easygoing, speaking rather slowly and occasionally drawing out the last word of his sentences. He takes everything lightly regardless of the severity of the moment. In surprising, perilous and unexpected situations, he is apparently never shocked and even when a scared man fired a bullet at him, he seemed to be focused only on finding his way to the school. He even asked the shooter where the academy was. He is also completely calm and cool-headed, even in tense situations. Unfortunately for the academy, he can be quite absent-minded and irresponsible, judging by the fact he once dropped a motorcycle on a spider that bit him. He also tends to fall asleep at the most random of moments, whether in the middle of combat or simply standing up. He is also known to be very slow to things, often reacting to things such as the pain he gets from wounds far longer than he should have. Alrik also has a tendency to mispronounce the names of things or people he has just heard, often replying with a "Oh..." once someone corrects him.

Alrik has an innate desire and talent for conflict, mostly because that was the only thing he truly knew, having been exposed to combat at a fairly young age. However, he is tolerant to people who believe in peace. He is also compassionate and forgiving towards his enemies, to the point of even attempting to save them if they were in need, as evidenced by his saving the man who had forced him into combat after he received a fatal wound. Alrik is opposed to killing people who are unable to defend themselves, believing that dying while fighting is the best way to die for anyone. During his youth, he was also willing to sacrifice himself for his father if need be, although why he defended his father came into serious question after he learned that his father had driven his mother into running away to simply help the growth of Alrik and his little sister. Having a large appetite, Alrik is willing to eat anything he can get his hands on, sometimes not even caring if they were poisonous as long as they at least tasted good. This caused his little sister to either scold him if the food in question was not something to eat. Although Alrik is very intelligent, there are times when he was very slow to catch onto things that were very obvious. It is rather well known that Alrik is actually still a believer of Santa Clause and is rather naive despite his age should someone tell him that a beetle tasted like chocolate he would believe it.

Bio:
The Birth of a Monster
A tiny Werewolf pup has been birthed along with its six siblings. These seven were among the first born werewolves, a thing that is often seen as a rarity. The tiny Werewolf pup was the runt of the litter, often being last to drink from his mother's breast. Despite this, the runt loved his siblings a great deal and would always play with them. They would play anywhere their tiny bodies would allow and did so with glee. There was one place they were forbade to go by their parents, and that was near the entrance of their forest home for humans would often stay near there and hunt for exotic animals. It was one day where the litter was playing hide and seek, the runt was one of the hiders and knew the best place to hide. He would go to the near entrance of the massive forest, knowing full well that his siblings would not look there. He was confident that he would not be found by his siblings, however he was found, not by his siblings but by humans who relished in Beasts fighting each other. They captured the runt and took him to their base of operations to enter him into a blood sport. When the runt got there, he was thrown into a shallow pit and standing at the top of the pit were many mortals of different races, all yelling and placing bets on something that was cruel. Before he knew it, the runt was faced against another beast, a lion. The lion roared at the runt and punched him, trying its best to devour the pup but was being held back thanks to the runt's lycan strength. The runt was very scared, he didn't know what to do, his parents had not taught him how to kill yet. However the necessity of that knowledge would quickly become faulty as the runt instinctively sunk his sharp canines into the lion's neck and pierced its chest with his sharp claws. The runt had made his first kill and was thrown into a cell along with the corpse of the lion. The runt was hungry and had no choice but to feed upon the dead lion; he ate every bit of meat from its bones. Within a year the runt had claimed many kills in the underground blood sport and with each kill, his hatred for mortals grew. One day, two particular men had come to taunt the werewolf, taunting him with freedom by hanging the keys by a finger in front of the cage he was in. Tired of this torment, the beast would leap forward and bit the man's hand off who was clueless about the fact that the beast could easily squeeze his head in between the bars. Now with the keys in hand, the beast would free himself from his prison and gleefully slaughtered every mortal in the establishment, devouring all of them. Now that he was free, he would head back home to his pack. Sadly, when he arrived he saw his siblings and father dead, their bodies mercilessly and brutally battered, cut and stabbed. The runt of this pack was utterly horrified by this sight, but when he heard the familiar sounding voice of his mother, he would find her and was horrified even more. His mother's body was greatly shamed, stained and filled with the seed of their family's attackers. When she saw him, he looked at her with lifeless and broken eyes and asked him: "Who are you?" It was apparent that she could not recognize her own pup due to being apart from for so long. Full of grief, the runt would put his mother out of her misery. Now the mortals have cross the line, the runt now had a desire to devour every single one of them.

The Silver Death
After burying his dead pack, the runt would make his way to the closest mortal village, for that would be where his slaughtering would begin. When he arrived upon the village of Fayhollow, a bloodlusting, toothy grin would creep up on his face as he became a large Wolf with fur of white. Screams, blood curling screams is what echoed through the night. Blood stained the runt's beautiful white fur as he mercilessly devoured every single inhabitant, not even infants were spared from his wrath. Many mortals begged him for mercy but he would not show it, did the slayers of his family show mercy? No and he would in turn do the same. As the dawn arose and the sunlight bathed the now blood stained village, the now giant white Wolf would let out a howl of victory. News would quickly spread about the village, many were horrified by the fact that all of the village's population was eaten, all by a single giant wolf. The people of the country were afraid, they were afraid they would be the wolf's next prey. Urging the King to do something about this monster, the King would place a very high bounty on the wolf's head. If anyone were to kill the beast and bring its corpse as proof to the King, they would receive fifty million gold pieces. Many Bounty Hunters and Monster Slayers would accept the challenge only to be brought to to their gruesome ends by the hands of the Werewolf. With each kill he would receive an additional five million to his bounty, with each village slaughtered he would receive an additional ten million to his bounty. With his Bounty now at one hundred million gold pieces and many brave warriors refusing to accept his bounty, the Ruler of the country had no choice but to send out a small army to take out the beast. With the Monster's death assured, the King and his people would greatly calm down, believing that its terror would end. However, much to their surprise and dismay, the Werewolf had slaughtered the small army, effectively bringing his Bounty to two hundred million pieces of gold. The people of the country would now know this unstoppable Monster as "The Silver Death."

The Phantasm Curse
The Wolf Monster had claimed many nicknames since his triumph over the army the people of the country had put their faith in and for ten more years his blood lust continue, destroying village after village. The Silver Death found himself at a cold mountain, he had become curious about the frosted mountains and wondered what kind of delicacies it could serve him. The Silver Death easily climbed the mountain, the weather not slowing him down at all. He soon came across a small village called Easthollow, while the population was small, he would not turn down this minuscule buffet. With great terror the village was attacked, nearly half of its inhabitants eaten by the Silver Death. It was when the Silver Death devoured the youngest child of the Village Head who was a Magus. Full of rage, the Village Head would cast a curse upon the Silver Death and before he knew it, the Monster could hear the agonizing screams of all of victims echo throughout his mind, the curse had sealed all the souls of the Silver Death's victims into him and this curse would be passed onto all of his decendants. The constant screaming proved too much for the Silver Death as he was now determined to get the voices to stop, thus the beast fled from the village he had almost destroyed and the news of this spread all over the country within a matter of days. No matter how far he ran from the village, the screams would not stop, they refused and soon he could see all of the memories of each of his victims, they laughed, they cried, the loved, they died. Within fifty years of hiding from mortals, to try to get the curse to stop, the Silver Death had finally figured out that he was no better than the mortals who slayed his family. He apologized again and again to the souls trapped inside him but they would not stop screaming and showing him their memories. It was then that the Silver Death promised them that he would no longer kill, he would no longer be the Silver Death. Upon hearing his proposal, they would stop their actions, knowing that he meant every word of it because they were apart of him now. Happy that they stopped, the werewolf would soon assume his more human form, having every desire to blend into society, however he also wish to die by the hands of a human when he is at his full strength and if this were to ever happen, he felt as though the souls of his victims would be released. However, if he were to ever kill another innocent, accidental or not, the curse would once again activate.

The Traveling Werewolf
A hundred years passed since the Silver Death disappeared and upon that day the people of Adros rejoiced, glad that they no longer had to fear every night for the possibility of that Silver Death attacking their home. The Silver Death had remained in his human form and even chose a name for himself, Alrik Van Wolvenhein. Alrik had been venture around the world fighting many humans and monsters alike and never lost a single bout, something that saddened him. It was then one day, he was confronted by a middle-aged man as a challenger that was covered head to toe with scars. Gracefully accepting the fight, Alrik and the old man began the fight. This man was truly powerful and in many instances during their fight, he had the upper hand. Alrik was sure that this man would be the one to finally put an end to the monster's life and was prepared to reveal his true self. Before Alrik could do that, the fight was interrupted by a woman who was merely twenty. She had begged the man Alrik was fighting to stop, and he listened without upholding an argument! What was this woman to the man? She was evidently his only daughter, Myndill. What caught him off guard was that Myndill boldly requested that Alrik stayed with her and her father for awhile, the request caught both Alrik and her father off guard. Having no choice thanks to her constant begging, the two men had no choice but to accept her request. Within time, both Alrik and Myndill would fall in love and he would marry her with her father's blessing. Alrik was now married to someone who he truly loved, someone he wished was also immortal, but doing that to her was too selfish. After Myndill became pregnant, Alrik would remain in the village she and her father lived in, to enjoy his new life. As their child, Theo, was born, he had received all of his father's traits, his son was a werewolf as well. Not only had this saddened him, but he also feared that his son could become a monster like him. For the first year of their son's life, Alrik had performed his role as a father very well as did Myndill, sadly she had fallen gravely ill to the point where she was always coughing up blood, the illness was terminal and it was this fact alone that Alrik would once again set out to the world to find her a cure, for the only other option was to infect her with Lycanthropy, which would not only brand her as a monster, but she would lose the one thing Alrik loved most about her, her humanity. Sadly no matter where he looked, he could not find a cure for his wife, not even the best doctors were capable of dealing with such a mysterious disease. Due to the lack of promise and the little time his search had, Alrik had no choice but to return without any cure. When he returned, Myndill had apparently died from her illness, she died while singing Theo a lullaby to calm her precious child down who had been crying because he missed his father. Myndill's father was not angry at Alrik for not finding a cure because he had tried his best to do so and he knew that his daughter would not forgive him if he were to be angry at her true love over something that was not his fault.

Alrik The Second
A cold snowy night in the mountains of Russia. A woman, bloodied and greatly injured is running from a psychopath in a black long coat and two long swords. She tries to escape from him in a nearby forest and hides in a dark cave. She is holding a blanket that is covering something small. All is quiet when suddenly, the man's sword is run through the rock wall she is sitting against and through he heart. Now dead, the man pulls the sword out of her and is about to leave when suddenly he hears the sound of crying echoing from inside the cave and out into the open. Curious, the murderer goes to inspect the source and is shocked to see that the woman is carrying two babies within a blanket. The man then decides to kill the babies quickly, but cannot force himself to do because the babies looks so innocent even when crying. Against his own better judgement, the man takes the babies away from the corpse and leaves.

Alrik, being renamed after his ancestor, and Eva was raised by their single mother, who was very poor, so food was hard to come obtain at often times. Each day Alrik's little sister would be picked on by older boys because she was poor. Alrik would always be there to stand up for his little sister but he would also get beaten up by them, this didn't stop Alrik from protecting his little sister so he decided to train in order to win his fights instead of loosing, nearly dead. It was at that time Alrik decided to go to the Boxing Gym he had heard about from some athletes. When Alrik went into the gym, he was struck in awe at the sight of countless powerful men using their fists as weapons. Right there and then the eight year old Alrik decided that he would learn boxing. Alrik would demand to meet the coach so the coach could teach Alrik boxing himself. After getting tired of the boy constantly asking, the boxers got the coach who was fifty at the time. The boxers told the coach about how Alrik wanted to become a boxer at such an early age yet the coach was about to refuse due to the fact he was so young. But to his surprise, Alrik had gotten on his knees and begged that Cliffton taught him so he could protect his sister. Swallowing up your pride to beg was a hard thing to do, yet this kid did it anyway so he could protect his little sister. Moved, Cliffton agreed, but the only condition was that Alrik was not to hold back and never complain. After months of training, Alrik finally became strong enough to the point where no one would ever pick on his little sister ever again. As Alrik and his little sister grew up, their bonds became stronger. However something happened that flipped his life upside down; Eva had developed terminal cancer in the brain and Alrik's mother didn't have any health insurance to help her daughter. With not a single glimmer of hope, Eva, Alrik's little sister who he had protected even if it meant losing his life, had passed away. A month later, another life changing event had happened when police busted down Alrik's front door and arrested his mother. He would later learn that Alrik's mother had kidnapped him and Eva while they were still infants and ran away for no reason.

His mother had told him that his father had died while drinking and driving and he was an alcoholic who often threatened Alrik and Eva. But it was the opposite, his mother was the abusive alcoholic who had threatened to hurt her own children during her many drunken rampages. It was within a week when Alrik met his father, who had a very similar name to his son's. Alrik was reluctant at first, often becoming distant from his father because of the things his mother had told Alrik about his father. Yet Alrik slowly learned that his father was a kind and warm hearted man who had sobbed every night for twelve years because the family he created was gone, but now he had the only member left, which was enough to make his father happy. Eventually his father had gotten remarried to a teacher named Victoria Finch. When he became old enough, his father would tell Alrik the stories of the Silver Death that had plagued the land and he did so without giving his son nightmares. In the village they lived in, his father worked as a hunter, using his inhuman instincts to hunt many prey. Alrik greatly respected his father for being the best hunter in the village to the point where he would often beat up other kids if they spoke ill of him. Whenever Alrik did this, his father would scold him and make his son apologize to the kid he beat up. It was one day where a man that wasn't from the village had bad mouthed Alrik's father this time, calling him a loner and a freak; Alrik would strike the man out of vengeance but when he did so, the man actually punched Alrik in the face and stood over him, ready to stomp the child to death. As this was about to happen, the man found the leg he was using completely torn off and Alrik was no longer under him! Alrik's abilities as a Werewolf had awoken when he sensed danger from the man, his intent to kill. With them activated, Theo's teeth became very sharp canines and he had bitten the man's leg off with ease. Realizing what had happened, Alrik would run home, leaving the man to bleed out and die. When Alrik had got home, he told his father what happened in tears, that he had bitten off the leg of a grown man with no effort. His father knew this day would one day come, he had only wished that it didn't while Alrik was still a pup. After calming him down, his father explained to Alrik that he was a werewolf, that he was born as one. This was a great shock to Alrik, he was the same as the Silver Death, but was brought out of his shock when his father told his son that he too was a werewolf which explained why Alrik was born as one. Determined on keeping Alrik's abilities under control, his father would have no choice but to teach his son how to use his power to their fullest. Unlike his father, it took hardly any time at all for Alrik to master his abilities and within two weeks Alrik was eventually able to full change himself between his human form, his werewolf form, and his pure wolf form. Proud of himself, Alrik thanked his father for helping him and his father was proud of him.

However things would change for Alrik as his father had told him on his fifteenth birthday that he had killed his mother because she was planning on running away with fear for her children. The woman who had been taking care of Alrik and Eva was a homeless woman possessed by a spirit who made her think she was Alrik's mother and was thus convinced that Alrik and Eva would be in danger if they stayed with their father as the Werewolf was a strong believer in the idea of "Survival of the Fittest" and upon hearing this Alrik had came to the conclusion that his father had not come to save his children sooner because Alrik was too weak and so was Eva...He had let Eva die. This fact alone was enough to make Alrik go crazy, every ounce of him wanted to rip his father to shreds...But he couldn't, he couldn't because his father deserved a slow death and emotional and mental pain on a massive scale. So Alrik would leave, not knowing that forcing his son out into the world alone was his father's plan the moment Alrik's powers had awakened. It has been three years since that day, Alrik is now living by himself and is on his way to Augustine Academy to further increase his training.

Strengths: Master combatant, Power increases when exposed to the light of a Full Moon, Capable of changing in between form whenever he wishes, Has a high tolerance to pain.

Weaknesses: Silver can halt his healing factor and can kill him should it hit a vital organ, High pitch noises can slow him down due to his enhanced hearing, Killing a human will cause the Phantasm Curse to activate and disable Alrik until the spirits calm down.

Abilities:
Werewolf Physiology:
- In his human form, Alrik possesses enhanced reflexes. The speed at which he reacts allows him to dodge fast-moving projectiles such as arrows and bullets. He can usually out-react even the fastest humans, no matter how well-trained. He is able to run at speeds of up to 30mph and long distances far out-performing any Olympic athlete and his stamina allows him to exert himself at peak capacity greater then any human could. His entire muscular system was hardened and fortified making Alrik many times stronger than an average human to the point of tearing off an airplane door and twisting steel with his bare hands. He can place this capability into his strikes, allowing him the augment the concussive force of his attacks. His strength should be sufficient enough to press about a 1 ton with relative ease. His senses have been augmented to heightened levels of function. He can perceive things better than a normal human. This includes, but is not limited to: Enhanced Hearing, Enhanced Sense of Smell, and Enhanced Vision. However his most useful ability is an accelerated ability to heal damaged tissue, the rate at which Alrik's body recovers from injury and capable of being repaired before death. As such, Alrik's body can take a tremendous amount of punishment. Simple gunshot and stab wounds, cuts, and broken bones can heal faster than normal. As a werewolf, Alrik can transform into a pure wolf or an anthropomorphic wolf-like creature at anytime he wishes. Alrik can partially transform his body, either by transforming certain parts of his body independently of the rest of it or into a "half-state" between two forms. This is largely due to increased control over the transformation between his separate forms. It should be noted that his physical capabilities increase depending on what form he is currently at. In his werewolf form he can cut through stone with ease and can run 50 mph. In his pure wolf form he can rip through steel and can run up to 70 mph with ease.

Phantasm Manipulation
- Due to the Phantasm Curse, Alrik is able to commune with other worldly spirits and control them and their energies to any extent. He can induce fear into the hearts of others, use spirits to cause great chaos, control the souls of others when they are dead, and use phantasmal energy to enhance his strikes.
