Bio:
The Tragedy of Alicia de La Fontaine
Long ago, Alicia Bellerose was a kindhearted woman whose generosity and beauty was known by all in her village. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. Alicia worked as a nurse at a clinic as well as a pharmacologist, taking great enjoyment in helping the less fortunate. It was where she met her first love, the mayor's son of their village whom she eventually betrothed. But she kept a secret from him and the rest of the village, a secret that was long in the family. Every woman in the La Fontaine Family had a natural affinity for magic and was capable of creating spells and potions. Whether they used their magic responsibly, for good or evil intentions, it was still seen as witchcraft and deemed evil in the eyes of the common folk. Anyone who was so much suspected of being a witch was set to be executed. Alicia secretly used her magic while working as a nurse to treat the injuries of those who came to the clinic. Her love for helping others went on to her wanting to help her ancestors. So, she developed a seal in the back of the family book that would bind her soul to it after she passed away. Eventually there came a time when dark elves descended on their village attempting to take over. People were getting killed, abused and used by the evil elves, leaving Alicia no choice but to fight back. With her magic, she fought them while cloaked under hood and chased them off with ease. Everything turned out alright in the end, except for her fiance recognizing her even in disguise. She pleaded with him not to tell anyone, only for him to smile at her and promising he wouldn't.

The following morning, Alicia awoke to a group of men who dragged her out of her home and tied her to a stake in the center of the village. Her fiance had betrayed her, calling her a witch and a monster to the public. Everyone in the town she loved had spat at her, cursed her name and threw whatever they could, lasting from sunrise to sunset. She felt as if her heart was ripped out and torn to pieces before her. The people she cared about were As night fell, her fiance appeared before her, torch in hand, ready to light the stake. Alicia cried out for mercy and asked why they would do this to her. But it was useless; her cry falling on deaf ears. They only saw a monster who they wanted to destroy. She cried out desperately for someone to help her, giving anything in return. And then, some thing answered back beckoning into the darkness. In the end, Alicia gave into this darkness and was filled with a unbelievable power. She broke free from the stake and destroyed anyone and everything in her sight. But her bloodbath didn't stop there as she went around attacking anyone who crossed her. It wasn't long before she gained the name Malicia. Soon enough, a group of witches lead by Margaret Bellerose attempted to put a stop to her wanton destruction. However, since Malicia was still more powerful than them, Margaret setup a powerful spell to bind the evil witch to her family book and destroy her and her family legacy at once. But because of her overwhelming dark power, the book remained intact from any abuse it was subjected to. The young witch took upon herself to keep the book safeguarded within her family until a method of disposal surfaced.

Young Ancestor of the Witch
Centuries later, the descendants of Margaret Bellerose continued to hold onto the possessed grimoire, all the while searching for a way to destroy it. Faina Bellerose, a young girl who knew nothing about magic or her family history, lived alone happily with her mother. Her father was a police officer who died in the field shortly before she was born but her mother did her best to fill both parental roles. When she was ten years old, her aunt died and her mother received Malicia's book. After that, her mother became to preoccupied to care for her and even began to act strangely. In the end, Faina was sent away to live with her grandmother whom she'd never met. Her grandmother was a bit strange to her at first, until she caught her using magic. Eventually, she learned of her lineage and about magic. Her mother wanted her to live a normal life, never getting involved with the Grimoire of Reckoning. In the following six years, Faina learned and practiced white magic to protect others like her father had done. During that time, she had little contact with her mother which often worried her. And then late one night, Malicia had appeared before her. Using her mother as a vessel, the dark witch had made her return and sought out to eliminate the remaining Bellerose family. Faina didn't had little chance of survival were she to fight but her grandmother did. The fighting ended shortly, the old woman strong but not well enough to continue. With her last breath, she cast a spell to kill the vessel and force Malicia back into her book. That day, she lost both her mother and grandmother and got something much worse in return. She vowed to destroy the book that claimed numerous lives, including those of her family. The dark spirit quickly learned she could not influence the young girl's thoughts as she had done to so many who held her grimoire. But it did not mean the girl had her bound completely. Faina searched everywhere she could for answers before coming to Augustine Academy.

Malicia
Black Magic: Dark Arts - Malicia has access to the power of the shadows allowing them to perform tremendous feats of destruction. She can create and control wicked creatures made of shade, cast powerful eldritch spells and harness dark magical energies, barely touched by other mages to form weapons and various constructs. The witch can even cloak herself with her magic to grant temporary flight.

w e a p o n:
The Grimoire of Reckoning - A magic book of spells passed down through the Bellerose Family. Malicia's soul was imprisoned here for her crimes; however, her overwhelming power has made the book indestructible and partially the pages.
