The day had come finally. Meixiang had completed her graduation and spent then next few days clearing out her dorm room. She had obtained an apartment a few days before taking her final exam at Amityville that would grant her the status of alum. And set her off on her next journey in Halloween.

While her parents would have preferred her to return home the Jiang Shi was determined to have a life of her own. They wanted things for her that she did not want for herself. It was not that she did not love her parents, but she wasn't ready for their plans. Maybe sometime in the far future she would step up in her role of the family but they both had many years left in them before she would even need to contemplate stepping in for them.

The majority of her belongings were already in the apartment, waiting to be unpacked. Her family had provided her with quite a bit of furnishings to get her started at least. Though it seemed more like they had pretty much just bought everything she would ever need or hadn't had in her dorm. Her mother had even sent over a few more things from her room back at the compound to make her feel even more at home.

Once she got everything settled she would invite her parents to her home. They could come and go as they pleased here. At school not so much. And perhaps she would take a trip home for the fall festival. It would be starting soon.

She stood outside the building to her apartment. Looking up she spotted the large bay window of her own new home. Apartment 6. It was a lovely place with a great view. All her Flycats loved perching in the window, watching the town people stroll by. It really was a dream place for her. Nothing she had looked at could compare and the rent was resonable.

Also....it was close to the property she wished to purchase for her studio.

The idea made her squeal as she squeezed the last box of her stuff from the dorm that she had been carrying. Soon she would live her dream. To teach dance to all those in Halloween town who were interested in learning. Watch the smiles on their faces and just have a fun and goofy time. Holding recitals and parties.

This was it.

With a bounce to her step she made her way through the front door. Heading towards the elevator she pushed the button to summon it with a hum. Once the ping noise rang and the door slide open she stepped inside. It was empty but that was fine. Pushing button six it took her all the way up to the sixth floor where her apartment was located. There was an apartment on each floor. The rest of the building had a gym, pool and other little shops and amenities here and there on other floors.

Digging into the pocket of her bag, she pulled out the key for her door. It wouldn't be easy to lose. She had equipped it with several chunky and cute key chains. As she made her way in the door she was greeted by a gaggle of minis. She smiled and cooed at them all in greeting before tip toeing her way through them into the living room. Her home was half unpacked and there was still much to be put away but for now...she plopped the box down on top of another and made her way to her couch. Flopping down and kicking her shoes off, the ghoul relaxed into it's soft cushions.

Ahhhh....her first night in this place would be a bit unnerving but she wasn't all that worried. She could just pretend it was her dorm room for a while. Of course! On the other side of the wall was someone else, even though there wasn't. Not really.

As she sank into the cushions Meixiang looked up at the ceiling. Dreaming about all the things she was going to do now. Of course, she would get them all done in time.

But first thing was first. She had someone she needed to talk to about something important she had been holding off on for a very long time.
