■ FOCUSED I'm very focused when it comes to my work. The last thing I want is to let anyone down in when given a job to do. I give my undivided attention when someone's talking to me. As such I've been told I'm a good listener.
■ STUDIOUS I read up on things. When I was a kid it was my school work. When I graduated it was where I was traveling and what I found in those places. Ancient artifacts are my bread and butter however son comes first. Though that doesn't stop me from reading up on things when I find the time.
■ OUTGOING I have always been an outgoing person. However when I was sorted differently from my siblings I got quiet before realizing Hufflepuff was where I belonged. Once I realized that I became more open. Making friends came easy and I could hold a conversation. When we graduated and I moved things kind of went back to the way they were.
■ UNSURE After all the let downs in my life I've become very unsure of myself. I never know if I'm doing anything right and I always second guess myself.
■ HOPELESS ROMANTIC I suck at dating... Honestly, I can't keep a guy in my life to save my soul. I wanted my siblings find happiness, get married, have kids. Me, I have a one night stand and without so much as a name... I find out I'm pregnant. After my son walked back into my life I realized I'm never going to find a guy that's good enough for him, never mind me.
■ LOVING Despite giving my son up in the first place, he is my world. I love him more then my own life and would do anything for him. If I could come up with ways to show him how much I care for him I would, but I don't think there is anything in the world that could prove just how much I really do.

CHILDHOOD / SCHOOL YEARS I have always been the type that wanted to see the world. When I was a little girl I was always dragging my twin sister Jessica around. However when we attended Hogwarts the tables turned and Jessica started dragging me around instead. Despite going from overly adventurous to being completely unsure of myself I found a place among the puffs. Yes, I was sorted into the house of the badgers unlike my older brother John and my sister Jess who were in Ravenclaw.
I was honestly mortified about the whole thing. My whole family had been in Ravenclaw and here I was in Hufflepuff. It didn't make any sense to me I was so much like them. That’s where I belonged... wasn't it...? After spending some time I realized my place was exactly where I was sorted. However, during my whole time through school I watched my brother and my sister find their special someone and I was yet to find one person remotely interested.
POST GRADUATION So upon graduation I made the decision to leave England and head off to see the world. Twelve years later I found myself in North Ireland, pregnant due to a one night stand. Since I knew I was in no condition to take care of a child I gave the kid up for adoption to a family that I meet that came over from America. They were muggles but they couldn’t have a child of their own so since they were really the only ones I could really trust. So I gave my child up to them and disappeared from their lives, thinking it was for the best. Two years after that I received word that my sister passed away and I returned to England for a brief time for the funeral.
Leaving I found myself back in Ireland, only to return to England once again only this time, ten years later after running into a little boy about nine maybe ten years old. Being concerned I tried to figure out where he came from (a boy that age on the street shouldn’t be alone) but he wouldn't tell me. I told him my name and asked him his he told me his name was Dakota and that he was my son. I didn’t know whether to believe him but it was possible. I took him to my place and after talking a bit I finally got him to tell me he ran away from the adoption centre. Explaining he had to go back I took him myself. When we got there I gave them my name and upon doing so found out that I was stated in the will as legal guardian in the event that anything happened to Dakota’s parents.
Being told what happened I made the conscious decision that I would raise Dakota from here on out. How could I saw no after being told he was supposedly my son? After a year of proving I was fit to take care of him I was rewarded full guardianship of him. Shortly after that he received his letter to Hogwarts and I decided to move back home to England with him so that we could be closer to London for when he headed off to school.
In my son's first year I got a job working at Flourish and Blotts. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy being stuck to one place but as it turns out I do. Dakota and I moved into our own place during the summer of his third year. We've been spending a lot of time in the garden and the perk is we're still close to my brother's. When Dakota graduated he told me he was moving back to Ireland. I didn't take it well at first. In fact I didn't take it well at all. However I've since learned that like me he has a need for travel. I can accept that. Besides it's where the Vann's lived. He still comes to visit from time to time at least.
Since my son left home I've taken over ownership of Flourish and Blotts. It's a new experience but a fun one. Dakota comes by to help out sometimes too. Family life has been pretty busy. Two of my nieces got married; Chloe & Mira. My nephew David is expecting again... and my brother and his wife were killed in the summer of 2039. It's been rather hard and I found myself staying with my brother in-law George. We're both taking it rather hard. Dakota says he'll comes stay in England for a while until things get better. I just know he can't spend his life worrying about me.
My son in recent years found someone for himself. Cordelia and him married in May 2045. He moved back to England prior to and the pair had their first child a year later. Recently they had their second, which gives me two grand babies.
SIDE NOTE I suppressed my memories of ever having Dakota as it was hard for me give him up, by using a memory charm and simply altering my memory of that moment. As such I have a very fuzzy memory that’s slowly coming back to me the more I hang with him. Hopefully my memory fully comes back
