Biography:
Former mercenary's apprentice turned slave- or, pet. Ren is... not happy about this. He doesn't even know why he is really here in the first place, but he does know it had to do with a lost bet and, in turn, a betrayal of trust. It hurts to talk about, to think about- that his master could so easily let him be dragged away.
The owners (?) of this righteous establishment saw Ren's potential as some kind of bodyguard or maybe something else- he's young and strong. They could've killed him, but they kept him here, hoping to make a profit.
Personality:
-Disciplined to a point
-Bit of a spitfire
-Has a habit of latching on to those who are stronger than him
-Sensitive about his height (5'4!)
-Outside of fighting he really is a giant klutz
-Trusts people a little too easily

Likes:
-Praise
-Doing his job right- inflates his ego
-Either exploring or sleeping. Pretty black and white.
-Cats! Really any animal, but cats tended to hang around him the longest

-Scary things! He is a closet scaredy-cat

Biography: Kohaku's personal history is laden with mystery, but here are the things that are for sure.
-Kohaku may not be her true name.
-She has been a servant for awhile, tossed around from person to person.
-She is indeed, a vampire, and her true age is unknown.
-.A previous master turned her.
-Said master turned up dead- Kohaku is on her way to someone new.
...And this was not recent.

Personality:
-Straight-laced, sensible
-No real interest in humans specifically, but she finds their personal lives interesting
-Elegant- rarely slips up. She’s been doing this maid thing for awhile.
-Along with elegance, she is professional, and will rarely refer to her master/mistress informally (even if they give her permission to do so)

-The sun, even though she cannot be directly under it
-In contrast, she also likes it when it rains
-Small, fluffly animals (though she won’t admit it)

-Being without a weapon, be it her sword or even something little like a throwing knife. She feels secure with it.
