I want to be a mortician and my wife supports me she just wants me to take a shower before I go to bed and my mother in law says its creepy and a bad example for my stepdaughter. What does everyone think about being a mortician is it creepy, a bad, example, or a great choice cuz it's always in demand and not everyone can do it?

I thought about it, briefly. It would probably be a good job fit for me, tbh. It's not a bad example - how could it possibly be a bad example? You're not doing anything bad. You're actually doing a necessary service that not everyone can do.

I say go for it.

She thinks it's a bad example because I will be showing it's ok to like death and dead people. I told her I don't like death it's sad but I want to help carry out people's last wishes
