Six months, six months!

If they didn't think he was dead now it would be an absolute miracle and he wasn't looking forward to providing his sheepish explanation for being away. While he was sure some would be understanding he still hadn't been able to get a full read on the pride leader to know if Ram would chastise him, or be understanding.

He had been out seeking new materials and structural designs (or inspiration as it were), and instead he had attempted to play hero to what could only be a lost cause. She had run from him while he slept and he had tried to locate her, but she had eluded him . He still worried for her safety, she was on a path of destruction, but eventually he had accepted that to pursue her would be to fight a losing battle.

Consequently he was late to return, months overdue in fact, and he could only hope that his research hadn't been vital in any way, shape or form...That, and he sincerely hoped that his strength hadn't been required. After all, he had been one of three Bumani in existence whenever he had left and if something had needed moving...

Well, he didn't want to think about it.

Better to think positively - no god was malicious enough to hit the Bahari more than once in the space of a few years, were they?

The pale green figure of the odd looking creature stood out against the horizon, but not as much as one would think he would. Icy gaze kept a watchful eye as he moved along slowly, it was going to be high time for him to return back to his pride soon. He had gathered a number of things that were collected up in leather satchels that had been made by the Nichi artisans when he had passed by there. They had been such a wonderful group that he almost lost track of the time he'd spent there so he got out while he could. Indeed he would be making a trip back there in the future, but for now he was on his way back home, at least he thought he was.

Lithe, yet stocky, he was an odd sight for anyone who'd never encountered a Leotah before and he spotted a white figure up ahead. The bushiness of the mane told him it was likely a lion and he paused in his steps for but a moment, should he be worried? It was a little late to try and run given how close he was to the approaching creature so he decided to chance fate and continue on his path towards the figure.

Solomon was of no threat to Viher, he was a perfectly reasonable lion and more often than not he favoured diplomacy over force. The only thing the green hybrid may have to contend with was an exasperated individual that was rather tired and walking with purpose towards home. It seemed that charity might also have been lost on him at this point as he didn't feel inclined to stop for anyone who might need his aid.

...That didn't mean that he'd completely ignore them if immediately addressed though, only that he wouldn't be investing any significant time in rescuing anyone or showing them towards any type of light.

Fortunately for Viher ,Solomon had seen hybrids given that there were a small number in the Bahari. Consequently the leotah wouldn't see a surprised lion, so much as one who was inclined to give a small nod of acknowledgement as he drew near.

"Morning," he acknowledged, pausing only to raise a brow at the oddities that Viher seemed to have gathered from somewhere (he'd yet to encounter the Nchi himself).
