He had wandered off again... this time without breathing a word to her and much to her chagrin, he also hadn't left a trail. As a deity who wasn't inclined to mark those of value to her, she was left in a little bit of a bind and did have to wonder how best to approach the situation. Yes, flying was certainly an option but she also had to pick a direction and hope that it was right! Alternatively, she could wait patiently for him to return (as he always did) and then scold him for the lack of consideration.
It wasn't that she was terribly worried, now and then Spectre had a habit of wandering off on his own... something to do with those ghosts of his that needed to be soothed. He could be gone for a few hours, a few days, or even a week, but in the end he always came back looking as doleful as she expected him to be. Quite frankly, she had long since given up on seeing him smile (she was pretty sure his face was stuck in a glum slump), but every now and then she could hope for a glimmer in his eyes.
Alas, rather than dwell on whatever adventure he had wandered off to seek, the goddess elected to entertain herself for the duration of his absence. Thus, taking care to mask her immortal nature, she took the form of a hare and bounded off towards her favoured spot - one filled with vegetation, and well...flowers, whenever she happened to step paw in it.
All in all, it was a rather pretty spot and it smelled wonderful when the flowers bloomed!

Flowers, floooooowers, so many flowers!
The little hare bounced, rolled and bounded through the flowers as they sprouted around her in much the same way that a child would. The sweet and succulent smell escaping as each bloomed. The longer she was present, the more flowers would bloom...and more interestingly, the greater the duration of her visit the more likely fruit was to bloom. Such was her influence on plant life, and it was rather advantageous if you were hungry... and could digest fruit.
Nevertheless her keen ears did detect the approaching predator and she came to a grinding halt, half rolling as her paws dug in to the ground for more traction. Ah, but if he'd been a little quieter he would have been rather hidden in the depths of the undergrowth. He was a pretty little thing to say the least, the whole predator thing aside.
"Hello, hello!" she announced breezily and patted down the fur on her chest, an attempt to regain her composure.

The 'hare' regarded the hybrid with curiosity, she considered his question for a time and then finally gave her head a tiny shake. The plant life sprouted about her all the time, it was simply who and what she was, so while she might have enjoyed its presence, he certainly wasn't taking her away from anything she couldn't do later... And besides, it had been quite some time since she had last had a visitor.
...Then again she really should have visited her own children sometimes, she knew where at least one of them was.
Even if she had no idea where her mate had wandered off to recently.
"Ah, no no," she waved her little paw and plodded towards him. "Never an interruption Viherminttu," she reassured him. "Always nice to have company, you like flowers, yes?" she hazarded and then shook her head. No, she was confident, everyone loved flowers even if they were the grumpiest thing in existence (they just never admitted it)!
It wasn't long before the flowers began to sprout under her feet again, covering the short distance she had worked. "I'm Arimathras," she held out her tiny paw for a shake. "Or Ari," she added.

Oh yeah, she'd forgotten about that bit hadn't she? The Hare glanced down towards the flowers at her paws and gave a shake of her head, no sooner had she been reminded of her natural capacity to encourage their growth than she'd realised any cover she might have had was blown. Then again, she hadn't exactly been trying to keep herself hidden at the time given her penchant for dancing in the damned things
Well, best not to be rude, right?
With a small, dull pop, the hare transformed herself into a pale and smaller than usual deity. Small in the sense that most of the divine beasts were quite large and she had never really been much for 'size'. As such if he ever had the chance to meet another he might have realised she was of a smaller stature than most of them.
"I always forget," she admitted sheepishly and turned back towards him. "Sometimes it's easier to slip by when you're smaller, less so when others are so full of questions," she tilted her head to the side. "Although if you know any other hares that can do that I would very much like to meet them."
