Character Traits:

[+]Supportive: Osetiel is a very supportive person, to the point that he is willing to set aside his own tasks to help others. Osetiel is the person you go to if you need help moving because yes - he will be there ready to go that morning. This goes double for his students. If they need help with a subject he's not afraid to do one-on-one tutoring, or ensure that they find someone in the class who can help them cover the material. He wants his students to do well, and he will do everything he can to support and provide for them.

[+]Charming: Osetiel has a certain charm and class to him. He's polite, and is quite ready with the compliments. While his compliments can sometimes border on the flirtatious, he does have a sense to leave certain things out of conversation during work hours. He's a professional, but he's not above letting someone know they look good today. Almost always smiling, Osetiel will try and lighten up a room if it feels a bit gloomy.

[+]Efficient: Osetiel is very skilled at getting the most out of something, that is, finding out the most efficient way to use a thing or do a thing. He wants to make things last as long as possible, and he also wants to save as much money as he can - so he's very good at finding what the most effective way to do a thing is. He can get a bit perturbed when things are at peak efficiency, but he's pretty good about not going too nuts about it.

[-]Show Off: Osetiel is good at what he does and he KNOWS it. he's very inclined to show off when he can. This can have the tendency of blowing up in his face, as he is more inclined to make mistakes when he's showing off. Sometimes things go well and other times they don't. It all very much depends on how much damage control he can do if things do go poorly.

[-]Proud: Osetiel does not take well to insults or negative review. He's a proud man and isn't inclined to admit that he's not the best at what he does. Even if the proof is staring him in the face, he's often too proud to accept when he's been beaten. This makes it very hard for him to take critique, but once enough evidence piles up, he has to accept the truth and try to find a new way of doing things.

[-]Critical: Osetiel is very critical about his field. He is quick to point out mistakes and missteps. This often comes back to bite him when he gets pointed out for similar things, but it doesn't stop him from being - sometimes harshly - critical of the things that people do. That said, if its an honest mistake and you don't know any better - he's more likely to let it slide and try to educate you than jump down your throat and rake you over the coals. But if you're cocky and refuse to admit you're wrong - well... Good luck!

Hobbies:

Alchemy: Both his profession and a hobby - Osetiel loves spending time in the lab and in the field working out alchemical formulas and doing transmutations. He's always looking for new theories and formulas to try. His hope is to one day have his name in the history books.

Mystery Novels: Osetiel loves a good mystery. He loves trying to figure out the culprit of the story before the hero does. He can spend a good chunk of time trying to figure it out as he goes. He prefers good long mystery novels to short stories - but he's not overly picky.

Astronomy: Osetiel likes to set up shop outside and watch the stars when he can. It's more of a hobby for him, but he does like learning what he can about the night sky. to him its just a nice thing he can watch and it helps him clear his head when he's upset.

Thoughts on the Fallen and Others:

The Fallen: Osetiel doesn't mind being a Fallen. In fact he's alright with most Fallen. As long as they don't harp on him too much he's very much live and let live sorta guy. He just doesn't like when people try to critique him too much - but that goes for everybody.

Everyone else: Osetiel really doesn't have a problem with any of the races. Being an orphan, he grew up at the Academy and thus was exposed to all sorts of cultures and worldviews. So he's not very picky about people's races.

Very few things stopped Osetiel in his tracks. Lost things however, held a very special place in the Fallen's heart. He had been young once. He had felt the pain of losing something small and precious because it was the only thing that was yours. The plushie was new, and probably had cost quite a bit of money. Frowning, he knelt down, and dusted off the thing.

"Where is your friend, hmm?" He asked the plushie, looking into its faux eyes that stared unblinkingly back. "Not much of a talker are you?"

He chuckled at his own small joke, before standing back up. Now, there were two possible things going on right now. One - a freshling had come to visit the academy with a parent for placement. Two - a freshling inside the building was desperately tearing the place apart in search for their friend.

Tucking the plushie under his arm, Osetiel moved back toward the front doors. He'd talk to the first available staff member and see if anyone had come to visit - after that, he'd pass the word along to the students that he'd found the missing plushie and was keeping until the owner was found.

One way or another - he'd find this plushie's owner. No freshling should ever be without a friend.
