This leads to the next region where Trainers can explore more of the world, catch more pokemon and even gain more badges. You need a certain pass you can get from the 8th gym leader after beating him.

xxxIt was an absolutely beautiful day. The sun was shining, not a cloud int he sky, the breeze felt nice against her slightly tanned skin, and she was going to get to spend the rest of it and several others with her younger cousin. Kira skipped down the road as she made her way to the monorail station, humming a happy little tune as she did so. Now, she only hoped that not everyone recognized her at first. That would be rather bad. She didn't need anyone flocking to her trying to get her autograph while she was just trying to enjoy time with Kia. She looked around the town, happy to see the people walking around the streets while the Pokemon went about their daily lives. That's what she enjoyed seeing. People and Pokemon alike getting along. It was an extremely satisfying feeling. That was what she hoped to see continued. She enjoyed seeing the looks of happiness on the faces of everyone. She heard a small sound come from her arms and looked down to see her Skitty looking up at her. She smiled as she hugged her and ran a hand down her back. This Skitty was a shiny version, a rare find, and it was given to her by her grandparents when she came of age to become a trainer. Now her younger cousin was old enough to become a trainer, and instead of sticking around her native region, she had decided to come start out here in Pluto, so Kira had decided to come meet her cousin at the monorail station to travel around with her until someone was ready to challenge her group. That was a much better idea then just sitting around bored until someone finally got all 16 badges and came to challenge them. Even though she knew she wasn't tied down to the challenge arena, she still spent most of her time there to be able to challenge people who were around her level. She couldn't let her skills become rusty just because she was sitting idle for a time. However, Kia coming to Pluto gave her a chance to be able to have a good excuse to stay away for an extended period of time. She looked down at her Skitty as she enters the station and finds a bench to sit at as she waits for her cousin to arrive. "She should be here any minute now Skittle. Not to long. I hope she's surprised." Kira said with a small giggle as she played with her hair for a second to make sure it looked good before going back to holding her Skitty while she waited.

As the Monorail pulled up to the station a group of people and pokemon swarmed out of it. after a few minutes a single girl carrying a floral duffle bag and a shiny Cherubi on her shoulder. "Hey we finally made it Cherubi hehe, Maplewood city the first step to our journey how fun... wounder where we should start?..." Kia asked Cherubi before stepped a few feet away from the monorail train so she wouldn't be in the way of those boarding it. "Chi, Cherubi!" Cherubi said as she looked around in excitment. Kia just giggled as watched the small pokemon.

xxxKira looked around as she saw the next train pulling up. She wondered if her cousin was on that train. She got up, Skitty jumping up onto her bag and looking over her head as she headed over to the train platform where she could more easily see the people coming off, looking for the familiar face of her cousin. Once she finally spotted her, she grinned. It was like she wasn't even paying attention. Perfect. Best opportunity to strike, She moved with the crowd, getting behind her and jumping the last couple of inches to her cousin, wrapping her arms around her in a hug from behind, making sure to put her arm out so Cherubi wouldn't fall from her cousins forward momentum. She laughed a little as she hugged Kia. "Hiya Kia. Heard you were coming down from Nana and Papa and decided to come surprise ya." Kira said with a huge grin as she finally really looked at the pokemon on her shoulder. She tilted her head before lightly wrapping her arms around Cherubi and pulling her close, shifting her so she was out just enough she could see her. She smiled at her and gently rubbed her head, Skittle getting curious and leaning over Kira's head to get a better look at the Cherubi in her hands. Kira laughed and quickly placed Cherubi back on Kia's shoulder as she smiled at her. "So Nana and Papa gave you a Cherubi huh? She's absolutely adorable. Skittle really seems to like her too. I have no doubt they are going to be best friends. Welcome to Pluto dear cousin. The beginners area is a little bit of a walk from here. They placed the Monorail in the middle town of all the gyms. I don't think it's a good place to start out. Unless you really like the challenge. But I decided to travel around with you for a bit, at least until I'm needed anyways. I see it being a while before someone beats all 16 gyms and comes seeking to fight us elites though. Surprise!" She said with another small laugh as she threw up her hands and shook them a little in a funny way. She wondered how her cousin was going to do. She had thought about maybe asking for a beginner team from her grandparents to be able to train with Kia and level up with her, but decided against it in case Kia got very far when she had to go back for a bit to fight a challenger. She had to be there just in case they made it past Oberon. She didn't see it happening easily, but it was still possible. Of course, if they failed, then she could come back without having to battle. But she thought it would just be easier to travel with Kia and give her advice and pointers on how to make her battle strategy even better. After all, she wanted to help Kia be the best she could be.

Kia jumped when out of nowhere someone jumped and hugged her almost knocking her over.. "EEEK!!! K-Kira that was dangerous!..." Kia said slightly louder then attended before turning around and looking at her cousin as she looked and held Cherubi. "Chi?" Cherubi said as she looked at Kira and Skitty. Kia sighed softly before stepping forward and pulled Kira into a hug and petted Skitty's head at the same time. "It's good to see you Kira, it's been a while since we last saw each other... thou last time you weren't a member of the Elite four yet, so how have things been for you?" Kia asked as she took Cherubi back and petted her softly.

xxxKira laughed a little as Kia said hugging her from behind like that was dangerous as waved her hand back and forth. "Nonsense Kia. I knew exactly what I was doing. And even if you had fallen I would have kept poor Cherubi from falling. But I had my weight evenly distributed the whole time, so as long as my arms were around you, you weren't going anywhere." Kira said with another small laugh as she was hugged by Kira and Skitty was petted. Kira heard her purr a little and smiled. Her cousin was always as good with the pokemon as their grandparents. No doubt she would make a great breeder, but it seemed she wanted to be a trainer as well. All inspired by her rise to the elites. She was absolutely proud that her cousin was undertaking the challenge. Nothing created a stronger bond between pokemon and trainer then battling together. She registered her question after a few minutes and hummed as she thought for a few seconds. That was true. They hadn't seen each other in a very long time. Where to even begin on her time with the Elite's? "Everyone seems like amazing people. I've gotten to know them fairly well in the time since I was named the top of the Elite's. They are all really strong. Even our number one member, who's supposed to be the weakest of us all. Being an Elite can be a little boring, because we don't have much to do unless someone gets all 16 badges and comes to challenge us, but at least we aren't stuck in the challenge arena. We can still freely travel around. I've enjoyed my days since just honing my skills and techniques. Sometimes I like to challenge the other elites, or even the current champion just to see if I need to work harder. But what about you Kia? What made you decide to start here in Pluto instead of your hometown?" She asked Kia with a small tilt of her head. She didn't mind at all. She was going to enjoy being able to watch her cousin progress and become a better pokemon trainer. She was just curious what had influenced her decision. She reached behind her and picked up Skittle, placing her back in her arms where she had been previously. She enjoyed just carrying her around. She was a companion. Not a fighter. She was way to cute to fight. She didn't need Skittle to fight. She had Dia and the others for that. They all did a really good job by themselves. They didn't need the extra help.

Kia scratched the back of her head to Kira's question and just shrugged. "I just figured starting over here would be more rewarding then starting over there, since this way once I beat the eight gym leaders here i can visit our grandparents and show them how far I had come in the time i had left there.. while starting there i would only be able to show them after the elite challenge since i'd be ending over here instead." Kia said trying to explain her actions. "Chi?" Cherubi said as she rubbed against Kia's cheek, Kia petted her head gently. "I also wanted to visit you and your parents while still learning the ropes instead of just racing through the gyms over here.." Kia stated before walking over to a bench.

☯ Stepping off the monorail to the grounds of Pluto, Kōketsu stared out into the distance. Haven't much traveled around Pluto in a while since years back. Walking around the station he took notice of different people enjoying their peace with each other, talking, having coffee, shakes, trading Pokémon items and much more. To Kōketsu, this place was really at its most peaceful. He continued to walk around some more until he took sight of a familiar face. Someone he never really spoke to on a normal basis but someone who's skill made him remember was the girl with tons of brown hair. Kira Suzuki, the Dragon Elite. He remembered watching her as she was in her exams for Elite Trainers. Quite the interesting person she was. Fierce yet sweet in her own right. With a shrug over the realization there was no solid plan as to why he was in Pluto in the first place, he figured that saying hi wouldn't hurt as much. He walked over as she was talking to another female and waited a bit patiently until he decided to speak up. Excuse me, do you happen to be a member of the Elite Four? I assume the name is Kira correct? ☯

xxxKira followed after Kia with a smile on her face. She knew that her parents would be happy to see her cousin while she was over here. Kira sat down beside her letting Skittle rest in her lap as she looked at her cousin. "That's a really good idea. And I'm sure mom and dad would be happy to see you and give you a place to rest for a bit if you need one. It's gona be great having you here Kia. I'm going to have fun travelling around again." Kira said with a big smile as she looked at her cousin. She wondered what other pokemon besides Cherubi Kia had. After all, she most likely had a different starting pokemon. Though, before she could ask, a voice caught her attention. She turned to take in the pale male with black hair in front of her, trying to remember who he was. She thought she had seen him around before. She smiled at him as he asked if she was one of the elite's and put her finger to her lips, making a shushing noise as she looked around. She didn't want people to immediately flock to her and start asking all kinds of questions. She didn't care to much for the popularity. It was honestly a necessary evil since she became an elite. She nodded her head to him and tilted it to the side a little, wondering who he was and why he was looking for her. He wasn't one of her elite partners, so she didn't know what to expect out of him. "Indeed I am, and yes it is. How can I help you today?" She asked him as she attempted to see what she had gotten into this time. She hoped it wasn't going to be anything that impeded her being able to spend time with her cousin and help her out on her journey. She wanted to be able to be there for Kia as much as possible. The male didn't look like a trainer, so he couldn't be looking to challenge her and the others. So just who was he and what did he want? There was only one real way to figure it out. She just had to let him talk and see what it was he was doing here in Pluto.

☯ Confirming on who she was, Kōketsu gave a smile to her as she tried to silence him about being apart of the top 4 trainers in the entire region. I see, you must not care for reputation. I understand. He stated giving a slight chuckle. Let me not be rude, my name is Kōketsu and I'm the 8th Aliria Gym Leader. You probably don't remember me all too well but we briefly met at your examination for being included in the Elite Four. You were quite remarkable. Kōketsu rubbed the back of his head a bit. He managed to only watch and hear about the girl's success but he rather see in person. You see, I would like to challenge you to a battle. Nothing serious, I just want to test my skills against a member of the Elite Four, if that's not too much trouble. ☯
Kia smiled at Kira as she spoke but her expression changed when she heard the voice of a male as they walked up and spoke to Kira, Kia recgonized the male instantly from the gym leader monthly and sighed "Your Koketsu the poison type gym leader in Southlyn town, and the head archaeologist in the Aliria region.. oh and your main pokemon is Muk if i remember correctly" Kia said as she tried remembering everything she read that involved him. Kia held Cherubi close as she listened to the man's challenge request. "well if you want to battle we could use the maplewood gym, but i don't know if they're in right now.." Kia said softly as her eyes shifted between the two trainers.

xxxKira listened to Kia as she explained who he was before the man could. She smiled as she reached over and pet Kia's head. "My smart little cousin. Well done. I should hope you could know as much about the gym leaders here. That'll make being able to beat them that much easier." Kira said a small chuckle as she looked back to the male as he stated his challenge. She hummed a little as she thought about what she could do. She could battle him, but she could also decline it. She had the right to. However, she wouldn't mind the challenge. She let out a small breath as she stood up and handed Skittle to Kia as she faced the male. "Alright. I'm game. The gym leader was out when I went by, so I doubt they are back yet. However, there may be a field a bit out of the way. I would hate if our battle was interrupted by any stray pokemon or onlookers. No doubt it is going to draw a crowd, but if we can keep an open space, it would be much better. That way they can keep their distance." She said as she reached onto her back, where her pokemon balls rested on her belt. He was a poison user, so she was going to have to be careful how she went about this. She couldn't afford to let any of her pokemon get poisoned. That could cause some bad trouble. Luckily he didn't seem to have any fairy type pokemon. So she could relax about any super effective moves against her dragons. She just wasn't sure about what kind of Pokemon he had. So she was going to have to be careful. With that in mind, she turned on her heel and started to walk out to a safe spot.

☯ Kōketsu glanced over to the other girl who spoke up about him. Knowledge is truly power itself. Well I must say, you've done your homework there little one. Information will help you out when it comes to Pokémon battling and even breeding. I wonder which other gym leaders is locked in that brain of yours.
He gave a nod to Kira as she accepted his challenge and led the way to a safe spot to battle. Kōketsu was surely excited to see how things play out. He quietly followed behind heading to the field. ☯
Kia just smiled at the man's statement while happily taking Skitty from Kira. "This should prove fun and informative." Kia stated quietly toSkitty and Cherubi as she followed behind the other two to their desination. "Should we let Chimchar watch as well Cherubi?." Kia asked softly. Cherubi! Cherubi said with a smile, Kia just nodded as she kept following the two.
