((ooc: sorry for getting back so late, I accidentally fell asleep last night Claire let out her breath, watching it dissipate in the cold air after having a brief second or two of visibility. It wasn't that late really, but it was dark since it was winter. This was her favorite season though despite the chilly nature of it and it's almost harsh attitude on some days. It was far easier to put in another coat or jacket to solve the problem of being cold since it was only limited by the amount of clothing you had. Summer? You could only take off a certain amount of clothes until it's indecent. She placed her hands in the pockets of her jacket, walking home. Still, even though her logic was reasonable, there weren't many people out tonight, excluding the passing car in this small town. She was a couple of blocks from her house, though she was taking her time since she didn't want to deal with her mother or James when she got home. She was pretty sure they wouldn't know about her skipping, but she was coming home later than normal so she might get in trouble for that. She readjusted the hood of her jacket, standing at the crosswalk as she waited for the sign to cross. She looked to the side at the 7/11 wondering if she should go in and buy some hot chocolate to drink.

His soft breath escaped in small grey clouds as they left his lips, he had his cold hands stuffed into the pockets of his long black trench coat. His boots made a click each time they met the cement sidewalk, he was out for food, he needed to eat the pain was getting worse. It was dark, he couldn't go out in the daylight, not without his amulet. He loved the winter, it was cold, like him, quite, but at the same time beautiful. His head remained forward as his eye's glanced at people passing by, he was looking for a female, any female. He needed blood and the blood of a female tasted much better in his mind, specially when they took care of themselves. Walking up to a crosswalk his chestnut brown eye's flicked up to an luminous sign, it was bright, glowing, some figures flickering. Turning his attention to the sign at the end of the crosswalk he noticed the small hand, the red sign to show it was not time to cross just yet. And a female, long hair, she had soft looking skin and big bright blue eye's. She was beautiful. His eye's remained forward, lifting his chin he stepped forward now standing right next to her at the end of the sidewalk. "You're beautiful." His deep voice smoothly cutting through the silence as a smile pulled onto his face, he turned his head towards her looking at her calmly. "You have pretty eye's, and hair." He complemented her, his face painted with a charming smile.

Claire's eyes watched the streetlights, waiting for it to turn red since she knew then she'll be allowed to walk about a couple of seconds after. It wasn't like anyone would enforce it though, she highly doubted she'll be tackled to the ground if she just decided to jay walk. She looked down at her Ugg boots, a gift from last Christmas that she wore nearly every day during the winter. She kept them very clean, still looking as black and new as when she had first taken them out of the box. She watched her breath again, disappearing in the few seconds as she wondered if she'll ever be like that. If someone will ever remember her for a moment, maybe two then she'll disappear forever from them. She was planning on leaving this town when she graduates anyway, she didn't know where she'll be going, but anywhere was better than here. Why were all small towns like that? They're appealing since they're so small, away from the city, but yet high schoolers grow up mostly wanting to leave and never come back. She stretched her arms in front of her before glancing up to a man, slightly surprised he had been there before a small smile appeared on her face "thank you" she said simply, pushing her hair back behind her ear before returning it back to her pockets. She doesn't remember ever seeing him around before, maybe he was a new student? He looked her age, and she definitely would've noticed him before had he gone to her school. She didn't see them having much of a conversation in the future, as kind as his compliment was, she needed to get home. She was older, but she knew strangers basically equaled danger and how do people carry conversations with strangers? This is why she's horrible at making friends. Her smile faded as she looked back down to her boots, until the beeping started for the crosswalk and she started to walk across the street.

A soft "thank you" was her response, kind yet shy and sweet, she was going to be very easy to take control of. She was shorter then him by quiet a bit and didn't look all that powerful, but that didn't really matter. The vampire had enough strength to pin an elephant, this small shy human girl was going to be easier then cake to him. Glancing down towards her shoulder as she shifted her hair the dark haired male caught sight of her neck. Clean, smooth and soft looking skin, it was enough to make his eyes wonder, up her neck and to her pretty face. Turning his attention towards the crosswalk light the male clenched his jaw slightly, he tilted his head taking in a deep breath before slowly letting it escape his nose. He needed to calm himself tell he could get her alone, tell he knew no one was watching. Once the sign changed the male waited, he watched as the female walked ahead of him. Walking silently behind her he lifted his hands out of his pockets waiting, following her, not making a sound.
A smirk crawled onto the males lips as they walked near an empty alleyway, no one in sight, everything quiet. Grabbing her by the arm the vampire pulled her into the alley right under the shadows of the buildings. He pinned her against the wall, his hand reaching up to his lips in a shushing manner to keep her quiet. They were hidden, hidden in the darkness in the alleyway. His deep brown eyes flicked changing to a veiny red colour. Smirking he removed his hand from his lips and looked her in the eyes, his pearly white fangs peeking out behind his pale lips. "Keep still and keep quiet, if you scream or move it will make this much more painful for you." He explained. Resting a finger under her chin he lifted her head, letting his hand slowly cup around her jawline he moved her head to the side. Leaning in he brushed his lips over her smooth skin, taking in the scent before parting his lips and setting his mouth on her neck. Allowing his hand to shift from her jawline to her cheek he bit down, pushing his long sharp fangs past seven layers of skin tell he could taste her warm thick blood pool into his mouth.

ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇsᴛ ғᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ❤ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ's ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟʟ ɪᴛ sᴇᴇᴍs Claire crossed the street, no more interaction with the stranger. It was as if the words that were exchanged were just in her mind though she knew that wasn't the truth. It was strange though, she had a strange, fear developing inside of her. She wondered where he had gone since she didn't hear his footsteps, unlike her's that created a soft thud with each step. She hummed softly, trying to fill the air so that it wasn't just silence. Her heart jumped when she felt an arm around her, she didn't even get to react when she was pinned against the wall. Her eyes widened and she looked up to the stranger as she immediately began to panic though she couldn't even squirm, he was too strong, honestly how was this possible? Her hands moved up to his arms, her eyes looking up to his after she had noticed his teeth, wondering how they were that long. Were his eyes red or were her own blue orbs deceiving her? Was he on some type of drugs that effects did this?!?
She feared for the worst, shivering from his touch as she closed her eyes, waiting for some knife or for him to take her money. What he did was unexpected, but worse. Her eyes widened when she felt herself being impaled. Was it a knife? No, they were small in size, but sharp and it hurt. Like having a shot with a long needle straight down. She tried to pull away, though it only hurt more like he had told her. Tears fell down her cheeks as her nails dug into him, her only kind of resistance against this. Pain aside, this felt extremely strange, exactly what were his sharp teeth doing?....He wasn't that. There was no way, they didn't exist. Still, was it possible? If so, then why hadn't it been in the news before? Vampires aren't real, he's just some freak who had super strength....and red eyes....and fangs. This had to be some terrible nightmare, she had to have hit her head when she crossed that street, but you couldn't feel pain in dreams. She refused to believe this was real.

Feeling the small female tense in his grasp, the male rose his shoulders as her nails dug into his back.the taste of her blood was different, nothing like he had ever tasted. It was amazing, there was something that drawer him to want more, but he could never taste it again if she was dead. Clenching his fist against the wall behind her he pulled away slightly, his lips just resting against her neck. Panting softly he leaned away, his lips coated with blood as his eyes grew a dim red. The vampire glanced up at the female, his hand still resting on her cheek as he starred at her, his eyes soon returning to those naturally deep brown and his fangs hiding behind his bright red stained lips. The moment was quiet until the voice of a woman cut through the air, she called out asking if anyone was in the alleyway. Stepping away from the female Shane shrunk, his body became so tiny it hid into all the clothes that stripped off him and rested on the floor. The clothes soon shuffled as a large brown bat pocked it's head out the shirt, jumping the bat fluttered it's wings squeaking loudly as it flew off into the night air.

ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇsᴛ ғᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ❤ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ's ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟʟ ɪᴛ sᴇᴇᴍs Claire thought that if he didn't kill her, she was going to die by a heart attack. Her chest rose up and down quickly, wondering if she got his DNA under her nails, would they ever find her killer. Her mind drifted to the last thing she said to her mother, Bye, Mom was the last words that ever left her lips from when her mother had left for work, and Claire had just been sitting at the table, finishing her breakfast and feeling exhausted already at the thoughts of going back to that horrendous place that was considered school. If she hadn't skipped and been out, none of this would've ever happen. Her eyes flickered down to his lips and her stomach dropped because that was blood on his lips, her blood. She never would've thought this morning she would be pinned in an alleyway with a man drinking her blood, she never thought in her life this would happen actually. She shook a bit when she made eye contact with this monster, as much as she wanted to, she couldn't look away from his eyes when they changed back to their original chocolate color.
She thought this was going to be the last thing she saw, and she hated this because she could picture now what people would say. Her life was only beginning, she was so nice and quiet, always helpful....as if they even knew her. It wasn't rise to speak ill of the dead so she figured no one was going to say they never spoke to her because they didn't even knew she existed. She was silent, unable to even scream as she watched this stranger disappear into the night as an animal. There was no doubt in her mind that he was a vampire, and the realization that such a species did exist alone caused her to scream. There was always the second scenario that she was going crazy, but she didn't want to believe that...she realized how this would look to someone else. Someone would think she was crazy since there was no visible evidence except for some clothes she could've easily placed there and the mark on her neck she could've created herself. People would think she just wanted some attention-seeking teen. Claire stumbled out of the alley "i-I just saw a bat" she stuttered out, trying to pass this experience off as just that, hoping her words would replace the memories in her head.

It had been a week, a whole week since he had met that female.. The one that tasted so different from the others. It was strange that she had been all he could think about, Shane couldn't get her out of his mind. Ugh! How irritating that she would be the one he picked out that night, why did he have to live with this craving of her. It was hard to deal with and everyday he just got more annoyed by it. So he had decided to do something he had never done before, something he never thought he would ever do. Attend school, her school to be exact. He needed to get close to her, he needed to have her blood once more.. It was burning in his mind just thinking about it.
Fixing his button down jean shirt and the belt on his black jeans he looked himself over for a moment. Walking over to a counter in his room the dark haired male picked up a ring he slid it onto his finger. This ring was very powerful, any vampire who wore this ring would be protected from the sun and mimicked as a human being. Walking over to a mirror he smiled as his reflection slowly showed up in front of himself. Well, he sure was handsome. Grabbing his all black backpack he headed down the stairs and out into the sunlight. Squinting his eyes he flinched and quickly pulled a pair of sunglasses from his pocket sliding them on. He might have had protection from the sun, but he still had heightened scenes. He walked away from the house and down the road, time to get to his new school.. Act like a kid or whatever.

ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇsᴛ ғᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ❤ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ's ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟʟ ɪᴛ sᴇᴇᴍs Claire looked at herself in the mirror, checking again her neck. It was a week ago some...she took a deep breath just at the word vampire crossed her mind. Since that monster bit her, she's been a lot more careful. She wore turtlenecks and long sleeves to hide her bite marks, thankfully it was winter so no one really asked about it. She had checked the bite marks at least twice a day since that experience, making sure it had happened and she wasn't crazy. She hadn't told a soul, because people would think she was crazy and that wasn't something she, or anyone else would want. The mark was gone, it has been for about a day or two though that never stopped her from checking because just in case, she was going insane, she'll see the marks again and know it wasn't some vamp attack. Claire checked the time, knowing if she didn't leave soon that she'll be late walking to school. Her parents never realized she skipped school, but for staying out, she got chewed out by James for causing so much 'worry'. She wondered if it was the headache of thinking about calling the police and involving them that was more of a headache for him rather than his step-daughter being gone.
Another thing that she did was check the news a lot more, looking for anything that involved a strange death, someone missing, or something with a vampire. She knew she was being a hypocrite for the last, she wanted desperately for someone else to say they were bit by some vampire so she knew it wasn't just her, yet she was too afraid to speak out herself. Her blue eyes glanced down from her mirrored image after she had looked back earlier, why wasn't she more brave? She pulled down her long sleeves a bit, adjusting them while she grabbed her backpack and phone, slipping it into the back pocket of her jeggings while she turned off the television with her other hand. She walked out of her house, locking the door behind her as she hurried to school, just to make sure she wasn't going to be late. She looked up to the sun for a moment and frowned a bit before looking back down, maybe she shouldn't have worn a black long sleeve today, she was already starting to feel hot. Claire reminded herself that in class however, it'll be cold and that she didn't have enough time to change anyway. Claire set a brisk pace for herself, getting to school after about ten minutes, her mind already thinking about the lab she was suppose to do during her first period, AP Chemistry. The class was small since it was an AP Chemistry, a lot of people thought it was hard so didn't take it. There was about 24 people or so in the class, but last time Claire was there, a girl dropped out and switched to a different class since she wasn't doing so well, leaving an odd number. Claire had a sinking feeling that she would have to do this lab herself or with the teacher. Great.

Entering though the front doors of the building the dark haired male allowed his eyes to slowly glance around. There was teenagers everywhere, all looked about his age.. Well not his age, but the way he looked. There was no way any human could live up the years he had lived, they would have died centuries ago. This was all so strange to him, where was he to go? How exactly was he going to be able to find out who to talk to? Soon enough a female with long golden blonde hair walked over to him, she smiled and held out her hand. "Hi there! I'm Syliva!" He blinked looking her over, smile damn it! Soon a smile came to his lips, he nodded and took her hand lifting it to his lips and pecking a small kiss on the back of it. This seemed to surprise the female, as if no one had ever done this to her before. Had greetings changed?
Her face burnt a bright red as she giggled nervously, a group of girls near then whispered towards each other with soft giggles. Lifting his head he let her hand leave his own as he looked over at the group of females, the smile still remained on his lips as his eyebrows arched in confusion. A few in the group waved towards him and he waved back before his attention was yet again grabbed by the blonde in front of him. "Um, a-are you new here? I don't think I've seen you before." She asked twirling a long blonde curl between her fingers. Shane nodded, he shoved his hand into his pocket before pulling out his "schedule" showing it to her. "I am, I'm having a bit of trouble finding my place here. Would you mind helping me Sylvia." She bit her lip a little taking the paper from him. "Sure thing. Um, common I'll walk you to your first class." Walking off with the female Shane's lips pulled into a devious grin. "Excellent." He muttered to himself.

ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇsᴛ ғᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ❤ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ's ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟʟ ɪᴛ sᴇᴇᴍs She stepped through the doors, being on time. Claire passed by the normal people who stayed towards the front of the school, passing through them and heading towards her locker to grab her chemistry notes. She heard small whispers and glanced over to the group, wondering what was happening. She forgot to breathe when she saw that brown hair and deep chocolate eyes. Her eyes widened and she just stood there, her eyes staring for the longest time before she immediately closed her locker and headed straight to the bathroom, feeling light headed since she was hyperventilating. She closed the door behind her, going to a stall and locking it as she leaned against it. Flashes of that night and just what she saw a few seconds ago. She covered her mouth as she tried to calm down her breathing, thankful no one was here to see her freaking out. She had to have imagined it, the guy must have looked similar and she had just imagined he looked like that vampire. Her hand ran through her hair as she stopped halfway and tightened her grip on it in a stressful move, maybe this was her paranoia or she was going insane. Why was there more evidence pointing towards that situation? She let go of her hair as she unlocked the stall, heading towards one of the sinks and looking at herself in the mirror, wetting her hands with the water from the faucet before lightly slapping her cheeks "That wasn't him. Never going to see him again..." she murmured, trying to make this uneasy feeling in her go away, but despite whatever encouraging words she could think of that may convince her what she saw wasn't real...nothing made the knot in her stomach go away. She walked out of the bathroom, her things in her backpack while hoping that she had grabbed everything that she would need since she wasn't planning on going back near the entrance to see if she had been right or wrong about this boy. She reminded herself that it was daylight, certainly he wouldn't be out now because of it. She walked into her chemistry class, chastising herself for getting so worked up when he would've burned to some ashes if he stepped out into the sun. That's universal vampire rules right? No sunshine, No garlic, No holy water, No crosses or anything holy really. She let out a sigh as she sat down at her lab table in the back near the window, sun shining through while she got her things out. Daytime she would be okay, why couldn't she get her heart rate to slow down though? SHe highly doubted she would see him today, it's only been a week and there was so much evidence against the fear she might see him again in her life, she just had to believe in the logic and facts rather than her emotions....but were vampires really logical? She thought they were just some urban legend just a short while ago.

Stopping at a locker the male looked over at the blonde female as she pulled it open, nothing inside. "So here is where you are gonna leave your bag and stuff. Just take what you need for class out, like a pen and a binder or whatever." He nodded, there was a lot to learn about being in a school, specially for the first time and in a new time frame.Taking his bag off his shoulder the male tossed it into the locker, he unzipped it and pulled out a binder and pen like she said. Thankfully he had all his things set up for him by his butler Demetrious. "So where did you last go to school? Did they just not have lockers or something?" She asked. This making Shane smile a little, he tucked the binder under his arm and looked over at her shutting the locker. "I was taught at home, by my mother." He replied.
She nodded and began walking with him to his first class. "Oh okay.. Homeschool, so you've never been in an actual school?" He shook his head and chuckled slightly at her surprise. After reaching the classroom Shane thanked the young female, she smiled and giggled asking what he was doing after school and he just replied with a grin. "Maybe I'll see you again soon Sylvia." Walking into the classroom the dark haired male was stopped by his new teacher. He looked up at the other male as he turned towards the class of students. Each of them in their seats talking to one another. "Class, this is our new member. His name is Shane Botwin and he'll be apart if our homeroom. Shane is new to school, he has never been in one before so be nice." Everyone smiled and greeted him. "Well Shane, there is a seat right next to Claire if you would like to sit there." Feeling his lips pull into a grin as he noticed who this "Claire" was the vampire nodded, his eyebrow raising slightly.
"Certainly." He replied before walking over to the females desk. Placing his things down on the desk the male sat himself down next to her. The same female from that night, the one he had been looking for, for quite some time now. Grinning devilishly he watched their teacher as he began the class. "We meet again.. Claire." He responded. His tone changed saying her name, it was as if he had never said that name in his life before. It had a sort of insane evilness behind it.

ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇsᴛ ғᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ❤ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ's ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟʟ ɪᴛ sᴇᴇᴍs Claire looked down at her notes while the bell rang for class to start, not looking up as she waited for the teacher to start his normal lecture before they could hopefully start the lab. She sucked in her breath when the usual start of class was changed, with the teacher talking about a new student. Her blue eyes drifted up and they widened quite largely as she froze just like before. She was unable to take her eyes off of him as her mouth slightly opened though her eyes showed mixed emotions. She was caught between whether she should just pretend she didn't know him, or scream at the top of her lungs and yell monster. She was stuck, so she just sat there looking dumb-founded with fear in her eyes. Her hands gripped the edge of the table, a good thing was that it wasn't wood because she was sure she would've left scratch marks in it had it been some other class with regular desks. Her heart beat jumped up when he smiled and saw her. Her heart beat continued to increase with every step he took closer to her, she felt like she was suffocating. Still, despite all of her body's reaction to him, of her getting nervous even to the extent of her palms feeling hot now, she couldn't move or even take her eyes off of him, all the way until he sat down next to her.
She was silently hoping that maybe the vamp had had some kind of power a week ago, that maybe in her hysteria she created a new look of him, that she had past by this boy before without realizing it and just placed his face on the body of the male who bit her. She felt like she was going to faint when he finally spoke again, confirming her thoughts that he was the one, that all of these excuses she thought of weren't real. "Y-You can't be here" she whispered, too shocked "I-It's daylight" she tried to move away as far as she could from him without it looking too odd.
