The Island of Fire is located in the top left of the gardens. It seems to have fallen more to ruin than most of the other islands. There are large torches all over the island, sticking out of the scorched, black grass. There seems to be more tropical fauna here, though most seem charred. A large Greek pillar has fallen from a plinth near the giant gate in the garden's wall, falling across the charcoal that makes a path through the island, but it is not hard to circle around or climb.
The heat that naturally radiates from the earth draws The Fox to this island, and energizes all that come near.

Fah approached the gates of the island of fire slowly, he did not fear the island or any of the island beside maybe the Dark on a little but still he was wary. Peering though the bars of the gate the fox took in the scorched landscape before him. It was lovely though he was pretty sure dead in a burnt sort of crispy way but none the less the tropical plants looked nice. Lifting a hand to the gate the fox turned and waited for his companion from the center plaza to join him. " I know we're suppose to look for a lock and key but this island almost looks like if I touched anything it would all break down into ash in some places."
Smiling the fox licked his lips. This was more excitement then he had ever been allowed to have back in his old home and he couldn't wait to get to exploring. Lifting his other hand to the gate as well he got ready to push it open at the same time his eyes taking in the large pillar that had fallen over into the path. He wondered if going around it would do just as he had mentioned and cause some of the grass to disintegrate into ash.

Wataame surveyed the gate and what was beyond it. As far as he could see, everything seemed to be charred, and a large greek pillar had collapsed along the main path. "You're right, everything looks burnt, but there are still some plants growing...interesting. It does seem like if we touched anything it would crumble to pieces, just as you said...." Curious, he reached up to help Fah open the gate, half expecting it to be hot to the touch. He didn't want Fah to end up burning his hand. He gave a gentle shove to the gate, which opened before them. He wasn't burned, thank goodness! "Well, here goes nothing, he said, stepping through onto the main island path. He took a few more steps, and everything seemed to be fine. Nothing had jumped out to attack them at least. He gave a small sigh of relief.
"Perhaps we should examine that pillar first? After all, it is kind of blocking our way..." He gestured towards it, moving a little closer.
((sorry my reply is so late ;w; The neighbor was putting in a fence and cut our cable. I should have net now though. So hopefully no more trouble. xD; ))

Fah released the gate as the other fox pushed it open. Looking around the island he slowly stepped in past the gates. Biting his bottom lip he took a moment to ponder their surrounding. It did indeed seem some of the plants were thriving. Some of the other plants he would almost swear were growing in their charred state as if that were natural for them to grow burnt. Shaking his head he moved toward the pillar reaching out his hand to touch it.
" We can go around it but I wonder how it fell over, Could it have been the fire that burnt everything else?" Running his fingers over the pillar, Fah smiled the thing reminded him of his hold home in some way. " I guess no one else has been here in quite some time or sooner or later some one probably would have tried to put this pillar back up into its place or move it out of the way." Lifting his gaze from the pillar he looked around the island once again. Not that he really expected anything to change suddenly but with such a magical place one could never really know could they? " Watame, how do you think we should go about looking for the lock and key, I mean I know those things said we had to find them but do you think it will be hard?"

"You're very observant!" Wataame said with a smile. "Just by looking you deduced a lot!" His eyes sparkled with a sense of amazement. He wished he was that smart! Wataame had noticed that before Fah had left he had grabbed a few essentials from his table too; even water. That was very important! They might need it in a place like this! "You're very bright, you know? I'm impressed. I never would have thought of that."
He watched as Fah reached out and touched the pillar. "I wonder too, if maybe a fire is the reason this place is the way it is... " He walked over, and poked at the pillar a bit. "I'm not sure about keys and locks though. Do you think...maybe they look a little like the creatures that greeted us? Or something else entirely? It might be difficult, but I think together.....we can do this!" He smiled at the other fox, nodding. He really liked the idea of working together with Fah to solve a mystery too. It was like something out of a novel.
He quickly tried to hide the daydreamy look on his face. "Well uh..ahem..heh..." he coughed as he stepped on the dark grass to move around the pillar. Would it crunch beneath his feet and crumble away or...? He wondered.

Fah seemed oblivious to the other fox's complement instead he simply shrugged his shoulders looking back at the other fox." It was always useful to have a keen eye in my old home." Tilting his head the fox pinned his ears back against his skull. He had been rather distracted when every one else had gone through the portal trying to cook comfort food. In fact he hadn't gone through the portal till some time later not really hearing what the creatures had said himself but learning of it by listening to some of the first to go through speaking. " I'm unsure Wataame. i wasn't actually here when the creatures told the others about finding the locks and keys. I was trying to cook stuff for the boys waking up. I heard about if from some of the others. So I don't really know which form of lock and key to look for."
Tails twitching Fah gave the other boy a sheepish smile looking around once again. It seemed scanning the island was a habit he could not break. He appeared to want to take in any possible changes even though it seemed unlikely any would occur. " I mean unless they are buried or something either form shouldn't to terribly hard to find?"

"Ah I believe I understand. The ones I saw were furry little critters with horns. They should be very easy to spot, I think...providing that's what they really look like," he said, tapping his chin thoughtfully. He had stepped out into the grass and it hadn't crumbled beneath him to ash, thank goodness. "That was very nice of you to cook for everyone. I'm sure the others really appreciate it. I know I do." He offered a smile and signaled to Fah that it appeared it was safe to walk around the fallen pillar through the grass. He was still careful though as he took each step off the beaten road, just in case.

Shikyo was rather taken aback but the surroundings he found himself in. Being the Beta of the demon clan, he was not bothered by the heat or the dryness of the climate. Wondering what could be found around this new place, he started to look around.
By nature, he was very intent on finding what was here and who. Shikyo took his reign over the demon clan very seriously even though he had been out for a while. Hopefully, he could regain his reign.
