Personality:
xxxxxx Positives

xxxxxx Warm: While Cadmus tries really hard to come off as cold and uncaring his insides are filled with mushy-ness and thus he tends to become easily concerned for others. More often than not he will do small things that shows just how much he cares. He isn't one to instantly warm up to strangers and it does take some time to break into his fake, hard exterior.

xxxxxx Daring: In contrast, Cadmus is very bold, daring and isn't afraid to do something that others may not be willing to do. He's not modest in the least so you never know what he's going to do or say at times.

xxxxxx Faithful: Cadmus is extremely faithful and once devoted to something or someone it is hard for him to turn away from them or it. When it comes to his clan he's a little less so, at least where the Firani are concerned, but this will likely change when he moves away from it.

xxxxxx Negatives

xxxxxx Argumentative: Cadmus is someone who needs to express his opinion and will, often. While you may have a good opinion on something he will spend a good hour or more hashing it out with you until you either prove your point well enough to him or that he manages to make you change your mind because he's to frustrating to argue with at times. More often than not he will argue with the person he's talking with and its unclear if this is done to annoy others or if he is genuinely just gets over excited or something similar.

xxxxxx Cautious: Cadmus isn't one to jump into something half-heartedly or without looking at all the options/outcomes if he's able. This ties into his argumentative nature as he likes to weigh his options before he makes a move. Cadmus in particular wouldn't want to hurt someone unnecessarily so he tends to be overly cautious when others are concerned.

xxxxxx Hypercritical: This extends primarily to himself. Unfortunately, his upbringing has caused Cadmus to become extremely critical of himself and whenever he finds fault with something he's done or said. He will likely pull inside of himself or overly compensate for it.

Biography/Background:
Before Birth
Cadmus' father was taken in by his mothers family when he chose to forsake the clan he had been raised in, the Aiskala in favor of the Firani, and chose to have no further relations with his side of the family. It didn't take long for what is better described as an "alliance" rather than a marriage occurred between the pair Cadmus would later call father and mother. Considering how they essentially grew up together it wasn't a surprise that they would come to be more than friends but again, that's also not an entirely good way to explain their relationship. Cadmus' mother was raised to be very independent, conceited and overall snobbish. His father was very similar in personality, although a little more fair hearted than his wife. The pair made an agreement that they wanted to have offspring that would uphold the values they believed to be important in the world and ensure they had a place of respect within the clan not to mention his mother wanted beautiful offspring.

Early Years - Birth to ~10
Cadmus was raised by his parents with the assistance or constant presence of his maternal grandparents. Up until his current age, Cadmus was raised to believe that all other races than Dovaa were inferior and that while having the blood of a dragon was sacred and powerful, there were some more powerful than others--the Firani. It didn't take the boy long to notice that not everyone in his home clan agreed with their views and found his family to be on the extremists side of things. Cadmus himself had more of his fathers blood in him than his mothers and often questioned the ideals that were being taught to him but never openly. The dovaa boy would spend his time with his grandparents while his parents were off doing other things and this is where he primarily learned the ideals that some dragons were better than others. At around eight years old he had his first taste of what life would be like for someone raised outside of his family when he got lost when wandering around the Terra Expanse. That day his parents had sent him out to explore around the edges of the Kaiatasel he had accidentally wandered to far off and ended up on the edges of the Terra Expanse where he encountered an elderly man who lived in a small home with his granddaughter. They were of the Gaili clan, which he had been taught to be the only clan his grandmother believed to be nearly worthy of power, but they showed far more compassion and concern for him and others than his own family had. While his family wasn't cruel to him his grandmother often made snide comments about his worth because of the fact his father had come from a "lesser" clan. When the boy returned home he spent more time with newcomers to their clan--when possible--and his nose in books about other clans. Of course the information he found wasn't entirely useful for his purposes but it gave him a start as to what he wanted to do.

Now on the cusp of apprenticeship Cadmus is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He has a sense that his family has been steering him further away from the morals that Abronaxus had originally intended them to follow and even if it isn't, his heart tells him that the way he is supposed to treat others isn't right. Cadmus is fairly certain at this point that he will be leaving his clan in the future but is uncertain of where he would go instead. He is curious to learn more about the ice clan from which his father is descended but also a little worried he will be rejected there.

Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
This is something that causes Cadmus a great amount of worry considering his family has primarily tried to teach him differently than what Abronaxus seems to have wanted for the Dovaa and is concerned that they may be facing some wrath if things continue. Overall, Cadmus doesn't have a real opinion on almost anything because his life was fairly sheltered until about eight years of age when his parents would send him out to explore--meaning everything he knows was filtered through others and books. Cadmus has some apprehension of the other races, their involvement, etc. but he's trying to let his experiences form his opinion.

That being said, Cadmus see's the fighting as tedious and its a shame the Dovaa had to be brought into at all. Seems like they brought into a fight that wasn't theirs to begin with.

Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
Oblivionites: Not a fan. Cadmus see's them to be far darker in nature than he can ever stand but his feelings borderline between dislike and hate. Thus far he hasn't ever met one and all he has to go on his what his family has said about them--nothing good. Its highly likely that he will be distrustful, overly cautious and possibly mean towards any he meets until proven otherwise.

Orderites: Also not a fan. They seem to him as too kind in nature but at the same time having dark hearts. His opinion is based on stories he heard from his family and like everything else in his life, he questions it. Like the Oblivionites, Cadmus is likely to be distrustful, overly cautious and mean towards them unless they give him a reason to treat them otherwise.

Hybrids: Its really unclear as to how he feels about hybrids and in particular dovaa hybrids. Cadmus has realized that far more hybrids exist in the world than he had previously been told. Dovaa hybrids are supposed to be a smudge on the bloodline, or so he was taught, but how can anything dragon be unworthy? Currently, Cadmus would say hybrids were abominations but he's working it out in his head whether or not he can accept them, especially dovaa hybrids. His term "abominations" stems from his grandmother who has an intense dislike for hybrids and is more likely to use the term in front of her and around family.

Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora: "Trust me, when I woke up today, I had no plans to be awesome. But sh*t happens. *"

Growing up, Cadmus has been taught that having the blood of a dragon flowing through your veins is something to be beyond proud of and that its important to respect others of your kin, whether they be Dovaa or Khehora. If they need a place to stay then you will open up your home to them without a second thought. Of course Dovaa may be referred to as the greater of the two. Cadmus actually has a soft spot for the Khehora and is slightly jealous of their dragon forms since he cannot enter his until he is older, if at all.

Statistics:
INT: 5
ATK: 3
DEF: 2

Reserving this post just in case.

*Noting that when he leaves his current clan things are going to likely be explosive.

Feel free to post.

I love him so far. The only thing I'd like you to touch on more (or at least just tell me in a reply, haha) is his location/where he lives. His family seems like it'd be the kind to remain on the Celestial Plane but you have him visiting Kaiatasel and the Terra Expanse. Both of which are located on Eowyn.

He is currently on Eowyn with his family. I would agree that they are but I'm thinking they raise them as children on Eowyn. Or he ran off there after he decides to leave. I'm debating a little on that since I hadn't thought of it previously. Lol. His parents would definitely bring him to Eowyn either way for periods of time.
