Much like a holodeck (exactly like a holodeck), the Magi-Tech room is able to correspond to actions of the "players" inside, including their use of Auras. A virtual reality is opened up to suit your needs, or can be programmed directly by use of the words: "Computer, show me my options." From there, you select your terrain, temperature-- anything that you feel would help you train and prepare to fight against the creatures of the Rifts.
Sen's brow quirked at the mention of an elite assassin family, and she wondered how good of an assassin the prissy girl was. Obviously not a good one, she concluded as she seasoned the meats, since she literally just told us all about herself in one breath. Crystal optics looked down to the tiger still sniffing her surroundings, and sen wondered if Corvenus would be alright with another animal in the dorm. Not that the multi-eyed crow was much in way of an animal anyways, she thought. He was just a being conjured up through her darkness, like anyone would choose, and was more of a friend then a pet.
She gave the seasoned meat to the girl without a word, still analyzing the girl, and watched as Mihuna left to bound over to Kirara. The pink haired girl was quick to turn off the TV and Sen wished her hearing was amplified much as her speed was. She'd have to see if her grimoire had a spell for it later, as something on the television perturbed the girl. Kirara swooped up the boy onto her shoulders, the obvious mask sliding into home base when she did, and Sen wondered what the girl could be hiding. Murder, mayhem, the answer to the universe? Sen smiled, that looked much like a grimace, at her own joke and continued to cook the vegetables.
"In all of my fifteen years, I've never burned food in my life," Sen said happily, her own mask right at home on her face. "Dinner's almost ready, go get seated."
After small talk, all of which awkward between the four, it was time to sleep. Sen did the dishes, Mihuna helping her groggily and she had run her fingers through his hair as she scooted him off to bed. Going to her own room, she shimmied down to her underwear and took off her vest and undershirt. She slept in the half nude after taking off her bra, and for the first time in a very long time, she slept on a comfortable bed.
When she woke, her heart was pounding and her sheets were soaked through with her sweat. She cursed herself, looking up to the glaring blue numbers, and sighed into her pillow. It was only 6 am. Cursing herself, and her nightmare, she throws off her covers and places her toes onto the cool tiles. Yawning slightly, she moves silently towards the bathroom and does her business quickly. Coming out with just a towel wrapped around her and her monochromatic hair falling down in strands, she throws the object onto the bed and dresses quickly.
"Perv," she whispers to Corvenus who is watching her with beady red eyes, and she rolls her own as she straightens her blue striped tie.
Dragging her fingers across one of the cubicles, Sen twiddled her mother's necklace around her index and middle fingers slightly before putting it on and sighing. They rested there for a moment, over the smooth metal, before throwing on her overcoat, grabbing her mother's grimoire along with her weapons, and walking out into the empty dorm living room. Stealthily, from many years of tiptoeing past that man, and she made her way past the indent for the stairs and bright furniture. She checked the place for a piece of paper and pen, and scribbled a note for any who might be trying to find her. Why did she give them that honor, hell if she knew.
Going exploring. Pretty sure there's a training room somewhere. Come find me to spar, or don't. Don't really care. -Sen
Yeah, that was good enough, she decided as her crystal orbs flicked to Corvenus looking suspiciously at the sheet. She pet him softly before turning and walking out of the dorm.
Sen would be lying if she told herself that this school wasn't ******** amazing. Corvenus rested on her shoulder, or sometimes flew above and around her as they went, and she felt more comfortable that he did. She didn't know if she was allowed to carry her spear and dagger in the open the way she did, but if she was going to train, she would train with all of her faculties. Stopping at an obviously enchanted metal guard, Sen asked where the nearest training room was for magic users. The guard pointed in the direction of a door, and Sen thanked him before entering.
She looked around the strange looking room, and saw a panel just beside the door. Pressing it, she quickly understood what it was meant for, but she was so flabbergasted at the technology that it took her a moment to understand when a soothing female voice rang out.
"What is your request?"
Sen took a moment before saying, "Show me my options."
"Options, confirmed." With that, a hologram popped up in front of the girl and she scanned over it quickly.
After typing in her request, Sen responded, "Computer, engage scenario."
"Scenario recreation: active. Safety protocols are engaged."
Sen tsked under her breath but was again taken aback by the pure recreation of her guidelines. The forest that sprung up around her was so real, it took her a moment to remember she was in a simulation and not the real thing. She heard footsteps all around her, and she readied her weapons. This was going to be fun.

Angelique knew it new it was risky to talk about herself in front of her dorm mates, but she was raised with honesty is the best policy, unless it came to the person you were killing. She smiles as the dinner was finished and the little boy Mihuna who reminded her of a small puppy. For once she felt like she was at home, and it made her smile. She enjoyed her dinner with her team mate, sharing some of the food with Crystal and headed to bed as the sound of running water from the sink filled the room, Sen and Mihuna doing the dishes. She made it to her room and began getting ready for bed. Changing into a night gown and brushing her hair and Crystals fur. For a while she stared out the window watching the night sky, and smiled as she saw a shooting star. "Better make a wish" she thought, and closed her eyes as she made the one wish she always made when sighting a shooting star, for a real family again.
[The next day] The crash of a loud bang woke Angelique from her sleep, scaring her causing her to fall off the bed and landing on her face. "Ouch... Crystal what did you do?" she practically growled out, coming face to face with her tiger and spotting her scythe on the ground next to the cub. "I told you many times not play with that." She said disapprovingly, picking up the scythe and putting it back against the wall. She sighed as the sun shone through and the digital clock read 7:30 in the morning. "Guess its time to get dressed." She sighed out, grabbing a random outfit. She put her long hair into a high pony tail and grabbed her scythe before heading down stairs and grabbing a quick breakfast for her and her tiger. She was about to leave when she found Sen's note and smiled. "What do you think girl, up for training?" she asked her tiger, added a note underneath Sen's

With that she left the door and headed out to find Sen "Crystal, use that nose of yours and see if you can find Sen." She said twirling her scythe around and passing guards, following the albino tiger as the creature sniffed out their dorm mate. The tiger cub led the way to a building, sitting at the door with a smug look. "Hey, just because you sniffed out Sen, doesn't mean you can be a brat." Angelique said laughing, opening the door and walking into the forest. "Are we in the right place?" She questioned, scanning the room and narrowly dodging a flying arrow.
╔══════════════════════════╗ She flung her monochromatic hair from her eyes as she twisted her spear in her hand. With such agility unseen from normal humans, she quickly grasped the ornate weapon and threw it after narrowly dodging a flying arrow. Her head was down after she threw it, and with her momentum she flung her body around and back up again, her left hand holding her dagger splitting another arrow in twain as she did. The sheers whistled by her head before plunking down with a pitiful sound on the hard ground behind her, and she began running.
Grabbing her spear, that had just made one of the holograms disappear from the skewered hole in his chest, she jumped from the giant tree's large branch and landed with ease onto the foliage below. Her countless passive incantations were really coming in useful, she thought as she brought up a giant wall of flames with her palm. She had said the incantation under her breath, something she was trying to learn to do at all times to not telegraph her abilities, and as countless arrows fwapped off it, she planted her spear into the ground and took a breather.
That was, however, until Corvenus suddenly squawked from one of the trees, his glowing eyes the only thing she could see, before he turned towards the door. Or at least where the door was supposed to be, if it was still in the same spot after starting a simulation.
"Recedo," she whispered, her fingers flicking downward, and she began to run before the hail of arrows could pierce her.
"You're in the right place," Sen said, her breath slightly coming out in huffs as her crystal blue orbs pierced the girl and her tiger. "So you got my message, huh?"
She turned suddenly, an arrow aimed straight for her head, and she deflected it with ease. "You can turn the simulation off and spar, or fight with me here. Don't really care which," she said sharply, her eyes scanning the tree lining.

The obvious way of showing off didn't peak Sen's interest, especially when she would have simply raised a barrier to defend them both without any exertion, but she nodded her head when the girl asked a second time for them to work together.
Moving past her outstretched hand after giving it a slight tap, Sen held her spear next to her stomach while her dagger swayed gently in her left hand near her knees. Her grimoire bounced on her thigh as she ran back into the hail of trees, and she rather hoped the Princess was right behind her. If she wasn't, gods knew what Sen could do to her without realizing she wasn't a hologram.
Her back scratched against the harsh resistance of a tree, and she looked around quickly to see if anyone was in sight. Nodding her head upward toward an obvious enemy look out, she gave a sign to the girl to take him out as Corvenus squawked.

XXXWith the amount of events that were going on, it would seem as though Kasamatsu was no where to be found. He found himself in the Magi-Tech Training Room sleeping in the far corner. It was pretty dark in there so it was quite a nice place to even sleep in the first place. His Katana laid next to him as his slumber would be quickly interrupted by the sound of the room activating. A loud yawn would echo from the depths of his throat. As he sniffed the air it seemed as though they were definitely in a new scenario and it seemed as if they were in a forest. The sound of voices seemed to ring in his ears and without an ounce of sound a leaf would fall on his nose. The air was fresh and the smell of leaves and grass filled the nose of the white haired male. "So I guess I have to complete this mission?.... Computer, show me my options." He stated as his option menu showed up. "Show me who started the program." He requested as the two faces popped up in front of him. "Sentinal.... Interesting." Slowly he got up from his resting area and lifted the white katana on the ground. He took this around everywhere and it was quite sad because he couldn't leave it around anyone. People tried to steal it but it was pointless in them even to try and lift it... No one could lift his blade so it was a sense of whether of not he would lose it anyways. "Computer, close menu." As the menu closed he would jump over the bushes into an open area.
Without hesitation something would fly towards him. He quickly shot forward towards a tree to dodge the sharp object that was sent towards him. 'They're engaging me so I guess it would create a distraction for my comrades.' He thought to himself. He was moving through the treeline almost effortlessly before coming to a stop behind Sentinal. He would tap her on the back of the head with the hilt of his sword. "Yo... The name is Kasamatsu. I'll explain more about me later." As he wiped the leaves and dirt off of his body. "Here is the thing Sentinal, the computer said you started this simulation so why not make this some kind of mission since we are here.... OO! I know, lets make it a search and destroy. We can just go into the enemy base and destroy everything. Computer, show me my options. Computer, change task, infiltrate and destroy simulation. Progression difficulty setting." He stated as the computer confirmed his request and changed up the settings only slightly. "You may now start mission." The loud voice of the automated female voice echoed through the area. "Ready?" He asked.
╔══════════════════════════╗ Seeing as Sen had turned her body to curl around the tree, looking at the enemy in the bushes and up on a branch, she didn't see the man coming up behind her. Corvenus' caw tipped her off to movement, and the passive incantation with her hearing was enough of a warning before she felt something hard like bamboo lightly crack against her skull. Her blue orbs peered around to a white haired boy who was much older than she, and as he spoke she simply glowered at him.
She said not a word before he quickly changed the simulator, and suddenly she wanted to choke the boy for intervening with her program. Sen was sure there were many other holographic rooms such as this one, and the fact he thought himself able to lord over her and change something so-
Sen sighed to herself, her thumb holding the innard spine of her grimoire on her thigh before looking around.
"There's three enemies dotted around the treeline and shrubbery," her Grecian voice spoke just above a whisper. "Take out the one on the ground and I've got the tree. I'm always ready," she finished before raising her palm upward.
Speaking under her breath and barely audible, Sen breathed out, "Solvite hostium c** ignibus caelum!"
Suddenly, without any pooling of energy, a fireball that was larger than even her palm shot forth from her hand and hit the enemy in the chest. It burned through him easily, but instead of the grotesque broken ribcage of the man, he shattered into light fractures and was no more. Her fire hit the tree behind the now destroyed hologram, but it did not burn and instead offered small sparks that rained downward.

XXX "Sorry, I hope you don't mind me changing it around.... You did in fact wake me up from a nap and all." He explained to her before listening to her spell. The spell seemed so intense and the way she was confident in her ability made his eyes light up with interest. "Sugoi!" He said as he balled up both fist and stared intensely at her. "So you can create fireballs with your hand? That's pretty awesome." He stated before biting his thumb and dropping his arm to the side. Blood would drip onto the floor and strange circle would appear under Kasamatsu. Almost instantaneously a white knight like armor would appear on his body. The face shield covered his head completely but his hair was able to come out of the back of the helmet. The white armor seemed a lot more lighter this time considering Kasamatsu was now back on task. "Got it..." His body shot forward towards the enemy within the shrubbery of the treeline. It was as if his body was moving effortlessly in this armor that seemed a lot more heavier than it was. As the enemy engaged Kasamatsu by shooting at him the bullets seemed to just bounce off of him as if they had no effect. Finally he would reach the hologram and swing only once and bring the hologram along with his blade into a tree. The hologram shattered and the tree had been left with a very large cut in it. "Continue forward Sentinal. I'll block you." He stated before going forward towards the enemy base.
╔══════════════════════════╗ Sen barely registered that the boy apologized to her, and simply shook her head while her long monochromatic hair swayed behind her. She didn't much care for apologies, but it was a nice start she supposed. Her interest took on a new form as the boy yelled 'awesome' in Japanese. Finally looking back at him, her shoulder blades brushing against the tree, she quirked her brow and looked back at him. He seemed to hold no surprise over the generation of her fire, and it surprised her when he spoke of it so freely. Usually she was met with disdain and screams by the men that knew of her ability, but not this one. How weird.
Her crystal blue orbs widened a fraction as the boy bit his thumb, hard enough to draw blood, before holding it before his body. The seal that appeared at his feet was intricate and unfamiliar to her and, in the span of only a few moments, the boy before her was suddenly clad in beautiful white armor. His words were only slightly muffled from behind his sleek mask as he confirmed Sen's words, and the girl watched as he bolted off to dispatch the first one.
Shaking her head, forgetting for a moment about wondering how the boy knew her name, she willed Corvenus to fly ahead of her as the arena was set. Instead of arrows, bullets now flew at the trio, and her eyesight, hearing, and speed was pushed further than she had ever really cared to have them. She unhooked her grimoire from her chain on her thigh and held it in front of her as she ran. Reading over the twisting words, she halted as her crow called to her.
Raising up her hand and yelling, "Oh fortis terra, aperta sursum in furor et sublevo sursum vestra ignibus!"
Just as before, a beautiful wall of contained flame shot forth from the ground and up and around Sen. The bullets that hailed around her refracted off the near invincible wall, and she placed her hand on it as she called her spear and dagger to her from their resting spots at the tree she had just run from. She dropped her grimoire back onto its chain as she was about to favor a more physical approach, and thought of trying to enchant her blades instead. Looking back around to the boy, she tilted her head to indicate the wall dropping soon at her command, and to be ready to rush the enemy.

XXX He pulled his blade out of the tree and began to walk towards the fire wall that Sentinal had created. He was still amazed by her power but it would seem as if it was time for him to rattle up something interesting. "I don't have much longer in this suit, you may have to take me back to my room when we're done." He explained to her while laughing. That probably wasn't something she wanted to hear but it was the truth. He pushed himself forward and around the wall leaving the broken ground from under his feet. He quickly jumped forward doing a front flip and slamming his blade into the ground. The power of it caused the ground to bring flower up under the force causing a set of enemies to shatter into their glass like state. His head was turned to the side to see Sentinal behind him. He seemed so serious at this point as if nothing was going to stop his brute force. Next thing he knew something large hit him sending him flying and skipping across the ground. It was the explosive charge of a fifty caliber bullet. It was indeed very powerful but it left the armor unscathed. However, Kasamatsu would try to gain his balance. His hand would grab the ground and slow him down before he could finally come to a stop. "That's a big gun." He stated before looking to Sentinal. "Get cover and make sure you have your eyes on that gunner do you understand?" He said before jumping forwards again to dodge the explosive bullet. He would use the blast to help him propel himself into the enemy base. Just before he would get in he would yell something to Sentinal. "Try to get in from the other side!"
╔══════════════════════════╗ The crystal eyed girl turned slightly as the boy spoke to her and said something about carrying him back to his dorm. She frowned, thinking of the possibilities that could mean, and she wondered briefly if the suit was so draining on his person that he could not stand afterwards. That or pass out, Sentinal thought as she watched him leave a small crater after pushing off and attacking the ground. It was indeed impressive, she thought as she watched him sail backward as a large caliber bullet pierced him without killing and made him fly further into the enemy base.
She simply watched him, knowing full well that her protective sheet, even if it did not cover all sides and just the front of them, that she could take a breather. However, when the boy yelled at her to get behind the gunner, she nodded and breathed out her spell to have the firewall melt away into nothing. Grabbing her weapons, she bolted swiftly to a tree, peering about before her crow cawed the direction of the enemy.
Her hands tightened across her weapons as she pushed off the tree, running with her body in the most streamline position as she did, and just before she crashed into a tree she bolted to the left. Sen had no idea where the gunner could possibly be, but as she raised her spear above her head while her momentum stopped for her lower body but not for her upper, she let the intricate spear fly in the direction her crow told her. She heard another shatter of light refractions and she smirked, all too easy.
Quickly running to her jutting spear, she grabbed it and bolted toward the enemy encampment the boy was thrown into before. Kneeling down into the shrubbery, she thrust her spear into the ground before her and placed her dagger next to her body. Taking out her grimoire she closed her eyes, pointing out her hand and breathed, "Devastatio! Insolubilis tenebris vacuum et alas suas portantes vestra finis!"
Suddenly a slew of inky black liquid began crawling from her palm, and even began oozing from her outstretched arm. It was only another second before the disgusting looking darkness coalesced into dark black crows with red orbs thst shot forth into the enemy base. It was purely used as distraction as of now, her power unable to make them kill anyone but only peck at their flesh and disorientate. It was the perfect distraction for the boy to make it through the base and complete the objective, seeing as Sen unleashed a larger amount than she had ever done before to make sure all the guards were in a state of terror. If he still needed help, she thought as she dropped her arm like it suddenly weighed a ton, she would think of something.

XXX Once inside the base Kasamatsu was stuck behind a desk. Men were shooting at him but now Kasamatsu was starting to get tired. The suit was beginning to take its toll on him and the mission was coming to an end soon. Quickly he would hop over the table and elbow a hologram in the face causing him to fall back. Just before the holograms gun hit the ground Kasamatsu would drop down and grab it, shooting at an enemy before both holograms would shatter. With great strength he would jump and push the top of the ceiling panel out while grabbing the edge of the rail. It quickly dropped slightly due to the weight of Kasamatsu but it didn't matter. He stuck his sword into the ceiling and used it to swing back and forth until he could finally swing himself up and through the ground of the floor above. He would knock a few holograms out and cause them to shatter but there was something off about this place. There were only two people here...... Soon 3 grenades would roll under Kasamatsu. Just when he looked down the would explode. causing the middle floor of the fortress to blow out all the windows and have smoke trail behind them. As Kasamatsu laid on the ground trying to shake off what just happened he would hear the sound of a shot gun being loaded. Taking note of where the sound was there was no doubt that it was in front of him. The man would twist his leg up like a scorpion and kick the man in the face. Quickly he pushed himself up and into a standing position. Kasamatsu was ready to fight this man without a sword due to it being on the other side of the room. The hologram would shower Kasamatsu with fist but they would merely bounce off the armor. His body would move elegantly in the armor as he twisted around the fist of the hologram before finally pulling him into a standing arm bar. His fist connected with the holograms face over and over again until it shattered. When he finally got outside of the building he got to the last gunner which was still shooting at Sentinal. With great strength Kasamatsu would kick the man in the side of the head causing him to not only break his neck but kill him at the same time. "You're up..." He said before sheathing his katana that he picked up on his way up to the top floor. He quickly jumped down before dropping to his knees. Even though he didn't have a mark on him he could still feel the effects of things hitting his body around. The armor faded from his body due to the fact that he stopped focusing on it. He was now in a state of pure vulnerability. He had no energy left and the only thing left to do was for Sentinal to destroy the base. With the great strain on his body he returned back into the base due to Sentinal being injured. Even with no energy he was straining his body to even walk up the stairs but a mission was a mission. As the black ooze still lingered in the bottom floors he would find himself the armory in which there were many bombs and weapons at his disposal. Even though the building was still on fire, the fire was only on the second and almost third floor. He brought the bombs out and placed them on 4 of the pillars in the room. Loud groans of pain came from the base but this task must be completed. He set off the timers and made it out as quick as possible before looking for Sentinal. Finally he would fall onto the ground and close his eyes. He would go into a deep sleep that would help him regenerate his energy. With that the building would explode and the simulator would fade and say task completed along with their time.
╔══════════════════════════╗ As Sen fell to her knees, her strained breath coming out in huffs, she tried to smooth out the seized muscles with her left hand. It felt as if her right arm was on fire and she couldn't move it without a more brutal form of pins and needles riddled it. Strands of hair fell into her eyes as she looked down, her crystal orbs no longer scanning the perimeter as she knew her crows would do the trick for her. Instead, she held her torn arm close to her chest and heaved out gasps for air.
She had never used her ability to that extent before. Not ever, even when her mother at a young age told her she could generate and manipulate the living darkness around her. That was where she conjured Corvenus from, and that was where she conjured many more of his ilk this day. But she had never done so many in one go, and now she knew the limit of her power. It annoyed her, pissed her off really, and as she raised her head to see the white haired boy running from the building and collapsing she was able to see the large explosion as it happened. Almost instantly the computer resounded around them that the level was complete and began to disappear around her.
Corvenus squawked loudly, flying to her left shoulder and nuzzled her black hair with his inky feathers, and she gave her only friend a soft nod to confirm she was alright. Kicking her weapons slightly, they suddenly disappeared into nothingness and her grimoire glowed with renewed power. Her orbs slid to the boy, now lying flat on the cold ground, and she didn't much care to go to him and wake him. If his suit drained him that much, then there was no usage for him.
Turning around, she eyed Angelique and her tiger in the opened area. Maybe the girl would help up the boy instead of Sen herself. If she cared to, the young girl could create a bed of crows to lift the boy, but seeing as she wasn't going to go through his pockets unless she was going to steal what she found- to find out his dorm room- she had no reason nor care. She eyed her crow, flicking her head to the exit, before the door opened on its own and she left.
