Jay smiled a bit when Eriko let the matter drop, watching as Amira relaxed as she watched her twin. The hybrid gave Kit a grateful look when he mentioned the girls watching TV, and he moved into the living room, beckoning for the girls to follow, and sat down in his recliner, popping out the footrest as he did so. "Is there anything ye girls like to watch?" Jay asked, looking over at Eriko and Amira.

Jay watched as the twins followed him into the living room and sat down side-by-side on the couch. He smiled at Eriko's words about not watching anything too scary, or nobody would be sleeping that night. He glanced at Kit, but the kitsune was engrossed in his book. So Jay picked up the remote and turned the TV on, flipping through the channels to see what was on. He came across several shows that he liked to watch, but didn't know if Eriko and Amira would like the same ones. He glanced at the twins for a moment, then handed the remote to Eriko. "I'll let ye choose what to watch," he said.

Jay watched as Eriko took the remote and looked at it for a moment before surfing through the channels. He smiled when the black-haired girl found a Disney movie, asking him if that was alright to watch. He sensed that she mainly wanted to watch it for her sister's sake, but didn't say anything about it. "Aye, that's fine," he said, nodding. "I haven't watched a Disney movie in quite a while, so it's a welcome change."

Jay turned his attention to the movie, thinking back to when he was little, when he would sit and watch Disney movies with his adopted mother. He smiled at the images of him sitting on his mother's lap, and he would wind up falling asleep halfway through the movie almost every time. After a short while, he glanced at the twins to see that Eriko had drifted into a light sleep again. He smiled at the sight of the sisters; they were very close, that much was obvious. He wished he'd had siblings to share that closeness with, but didn't dwell on the matter. He had Kit, and now, he had Eriko and Amira.

Jay glanced at Kit to see the kitsune had dozed off, the book he'd been reading lying open in his lap. Jay shook his head with a smile, then glanced at the twins again. Eriko was still sleeping, but Amira was awake, watching the movie. "Have ye ever seen this movie before, Amira?" he asked, keeping his voice quiet so that he wouldn't wake Eriko and Kit.
