Background and Personality

Frostbite is one of the few 'wild' Grimms; his stone was left in an old Grimm settlement, imbued but dormant, waiting since the war to be let out. Lerin stumbled across it and decided the stone was coming home with her. Allie was the one to break the stone open and out pops a baby Grimm. Allie, Lerin, and Seth raise him, and Frost doesn't view them as anything less than his proper family.

Frostbite has always wanted to know what had happened to all the other Grimms before the war. He has a driving need to know: why they disappeared? Why were only a few coming out? Why were they suddenly coming back now? What had changed? From the moment he learned that his mother, Allie, and he were few from a breed that had nearly gone extinct, the freshling was chock full of questions. So, Frost chooses to attend Eldritch in order to learn as much as he can about his race. He's going to be a great student at divination, applying himself as much as he can so that he can, hopefully, learn as much as he can about the future of his people. He'll probably be terrible at history, though; the lack of knowledge about Grimms will be frustrating and he'll be less willing to apply himself.

Although he has a wonderful, loving family, Frost still tends to keep all of his negative feelings to himself. The young Grimm doesn't want to burden his loved ones with problems he believes to be only his. The only outlet he allows himself is physical activity; running, push-ups, weight-lifting anything to help channel any negative feelings. While this does work, and helps Frostbite a lot he'll eventually learn to share his burdens with family and friends.

Aside from the lack of sharing when he's feeling frustrated, Frost is a loving, outgoing, social young man who enjoys being around people. He is just as likely to be found at a party as he is to be found hitting the books. However, even though he'll be friendly with just about everyone, he will only have a few very close friends, the people who he will eventually come to see as his pack.

TRAITS

Positive:
-Charismatic – Frost is a cute, loving, outgoing, social young man who enjoys being around people. He's extremely good at reading others (be it tone of voice or body language) and will immediate change to reflect what he sees. If you're having a bad day, he'll be concerned, but subtly optimistic to try and turn your mood around. If you're already in a good mood, he acts cheerful and boosts it to put everyone in a better one. His kind confidence and optimism is what draws people to his side.

However, even though he'll be friendly with just about everyone, he will only have a few very close friends, the people who he will eventually come to see as his pack.

-Loyal – Frostbite is a friend for life. Although his pack comes first and foremost, outside friends are also super important to him. If anyone has a problem or needs his protection or help, he is on the job. His only stipulation is that you're respectful to the rest of his friends and colleagues. Being unfair or attacking one of his friends will get you kicked out of his good graces so fast your head will spin.

-Responsible – Frost takes a lot of culpability onto himself. If a friend fails a test or, worse, gets hurt for some reason, Frost will feel like it's somehow his fault. Like he should have done more to help you pass the test. Or maybe walked your drunk a** home so you didn't trip on the stairs and break your ankle. Yeah, he'll be slightly irritated you didn't ask for help, but a lot of it will be focused on himself for not noticing that one of his friends needed help.

Negative:
-Guarded – Friendly and outgoing he may be, but Frostbite doesn't like to share his inner feelings much. He's the type to make everyone around him feel better and talk it out while keeping everything bottled up. He doesn't want to be a burden on his friends or family, and he doesn't want people to think that he's anything but a fun guy. Part of him thinks that his pack my leave if he's too negative for too long. He finds other, healthy outlets for his negativity, though.

-Obsessive – Some days Frost simply can't put that book down, can't come out and play, can't go hang out. He's becomes far too busy trying to learn about his species than hang out. These spells of obsessive behaviour can last anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Sometimes it takes his friend's interference to get him to get out of the gloom and back to real life.

Hobbies:
-Exercise – Frost sometimes seems nearly obsessed with working out, running, lifting weights, etc. Not only does he love the feeling he gets from working out, he also uses exercise as the only outlet for any and all negative emotions. Because he's literally sweating his negativity out, he makes it a point to do something physical every day.

-Reading – Reading my not seem like much of a hobby, especially since he's mostly reading historical texts, but he honestly loves it. Learning from history and finding out as much as he can about the Grimm is something he wants to do in his spare time. And reading gives him a break from his busy life and gives him a chance to just sit and relax.


Likes:
-Children – Kind and compassionate, Frost is very gentle towards the freshlings. He never gets angry or frustrated with them and is willing to allow the young ones to crawl and jump all over him. If he ever got a job in University, he'd try to be a caretaker until he graduated.

-Music – Few things are as relaxing as some good music. Frost has playlists for studying, for working out, and for relaxing at him with a good book. His collection of music can definitely be defined as eclectic, running the gamut from classical to angry metal to terrible poppy things to rock and back. But as far as he's concerned, every genre has a time and a place.


Dislikes:
-Bullies – Again, there's nothing Frost dislikes as much as a bully. It's one of the few things that'll enrage him enough to turn into his beast form. Especially if the bully is much bigger than the victim.

-Art stuffs – Don't get him wrong. He loves looking at art and admires music and enjoys it when other people make art. It's doing it himself that's just...not okay, people. Frost doesn't have an artistic bone in his body. He can't paint, he can't draw, he can barely sing (drunk karaoke) and don't ask him to write a poem. All you'll get is a look, so help you, and he'll saunter off to go hang out with someone who's being less of a d**k.

Frostbite hurled his small body though the courtyard, dodging trees and whooping with laughter. The sky was clear and sunny, the air was warm and the freshling was doing his favorite thing ever; going out on his daily 'walk' with his caretaker. They hadn't wanted to come today, so he'd had to whine and beg and give her his bestest puppy-dog eye look...which usually got him his way with her. Frost shot through a pile of leaves, sending them up in a flurry of gold and orange, and his paw knocked into something that had been buried within it. Skidding to a stop, Frost turned and frowned down at the toy that was lying in a haphazard heap.

The boy picked up the plush and gave it a sniff, frowning when under the leaf and dirt smell all he got was that fresh scent of a brand new toy. He'd never seen on like this, it looked really, really rare. Like, one of a kind even. Frost whined and his ears drooped in sympathy for the nightmare that had lost it. Frost didn't know what he'd do without his deer plushie. What was he gonna do? Knock on every door til he found the owner?

Dropping ears immediately perked up and Frost's tail waved about. Of course that's what he was going to do. Frost sprinted back to his caretaker (he really only had the two speeds: stop and hyper-warp) and started talking about a mile a minute. “IfoundaplushandweneedtogeitbacktoitsownerbecausetheyremissingitIknowit.”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down there, Frost.” his caretaker said, holding up their hands in a surrender type motion. They knelt down so that they could be face to face with the dismayed Grimm. “Now, calmly and slowly, tell me what's wrong?”

“I found'a plushie.” He shoved it at the caretakers face, probably a little too close in his determination to find the owner, “We have'ta go knock on everyone's door so we can find the owner. I bet they're really missing it.” Frost's eyes went big and he leaned in to whisper rather loudly, “What if they can't sleep without it.”

The caretaker blinked and tried to hide his smile at the freshling's antics. “How about we put it in the Lost and Found? I bet the person who's lost it is going to check there first. And we don't want to knock on their door while they're out looking for it, or we'll miss them.” They watched the boy think about it for a second before nodding sharply.

“Kay. Lets go to the Lost and Found then.” Frostbite said, holding his hand out to the caretaker.
