In the original Movie; "Strange Magic" the scene is taken place with the land divided into two sections: Fairy Kingdom, and The Dark Forest. A strange plant began to grow called "Brim Rose" which, the Sugar Plum Fairy, was able to make these so called love potions. But, because of a certain incident, the bog king demanded his goblin army to cut down these roses for every Spring that they bloomed in. Since then, the fairies from the fairy kingdom have been banished from ever entering the dark forest, the sugar plum fairy locked away in the bog kings dungeon, and never again make a love potion.
Eventually, later in the story, an elf was manipulated to seek out the plum fairy and had her make a love potion. The Bog king had found out and sought out to see who did this, and ended up taking the main characters sister as his hostage. The sister had been doused with the love potion dust then bagged before she could look in to the eyes of the one who she was meant to. Her older sister, went off into the dark forest to search of the bog king layer, and get her sister back.
Well, to cut this short, She eventually rescues her sister, and ends up falling in love with the bog king. Obviously there's more to this story, but I figure I'd just give you the gist of it all. Now, I suggest you read the current story plot, where this guild takes place.
