Name: Thurisaz Heavy Combat Unit 144.000 (usually only called by her first name, pronounced toor-EE-zas)
Gender: Female
Sexuality: none
Age: Unknown, looks to be a teenager.
Race: Originally a human, heavy modifications have made her almost completely cybernetic/machine.
Hair: Synthetic fibers, usually colored black. Some fibers at the end are able to have the fiber-optic light effect, which usually turn a red-orange color.
Eyes: Red with a glowing light to them.
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 330 lbs
Weapons: As a robot, she herself is a weapon, with many built-in features as well. Redesigned as a heavy combat unit to be put on the front lines of battle, she often does not rely on other weapons, despite having training in the use of different types of firearms and explosives.
Occupation: none
Alliance: Chaotic Neutral and/or Evil
System Overview: Nearly indestructible, made of the finest and strongest materials. Not exactly the fastest or quietest but definitely one of the toughest. Since Thurisaz has been modified for extended periods in heavy combat, she has been used as a 'tank' - running in and leading the front lines in war. Despite being 100% machine, the only living, human part of her intact is her brain, though highly modified. Built for endurance, close combat, taking down war machines of all sizes, breaking through fortress walls - all-around sturdiness and efficiency.
Personality: Vigilant, aggressive, short-tempered, slightly analytical - tends to want a basic overview and the details will come and go whenever. More than capable of human emotions (since she still has her human brain), but her murderous insanity keeps her restrained into a cold killing machine. Blunt with her words, but also is able to find humor in any situation. There are times she is lucid and appears sane, albeit still keeping most other personality traits.
Bio: Thurisaz's mechanized brain has allowed her easily ignore and repress memories of how she became who she is. Her mother was a doctor, specializing in cyborg-prosthetics and human augmentation, and her father was an engineer who occasionally worked with her mother on projects. She and her two older brothers were often neglected, but not intentionally. Thurisaz may have lived in a lavish home, but money only bought happiness for so long. It was all wonderful to her, but she wished to have her parents be there for her and her siblings more often. At 14, she decided her efforts were in vain, and decided to commit suicide. Thurisaz hung herself improperly, causing the rope to slowly and painfully choke her out into unconsciousness instead of having her neck snapped. As she hung, her brothers found her, and saved her life. But Thurisaz could not show them that she did not want to be saved - she was half-conscious and paralyzed from the neck down. She let herself slip away into unconsciousness anyway.
Unbeknownst to her, almost a whole year had passed. She awoke in the hospital, and immediately knew something was wrong when she was able to move her limbs. Her skin was intact, but she felt different from before. Thurisaz rose from the bed, then looked down at herself in the hospital gown, not sure of what was going on, given she still looked normal. She took off the breathing mask and ripped the IV needles out of her arms, which immediately alerted the staff to her awakening. One member of the staff that came running was her mother, whose face showed a split-second's time of happiness. Before she could say anything Thurisaz screamed "What have you done to me!?" Her mother said "We saved your life..." then went to hug her daughter, but Thurisaz would not let her. She pushed her mother back towards the doorway with surprising force. Thurisaz glanced down to her hands, then to the rest of the staff, who went running to most likely have someone restrain Thurisaz. Her mother caught herself on the edge of the doorway, preventing herself from falling down. Thurisaz repeated her question, only louder this time. Whatever her mother was about to say was interrupted by Thurisaz grabbing the sliding metal door's handle and shut it extremely hard, crushing every bone in her mother's fingers, led by her mother's instant scream of pain. Thurisaz opened the door and as her mother dragged herself away, Thurisaz was instantly taken down by a cyborg guard.
After the hospital incident, Thurisaz became violent in her actions and volatile in personality. Her parents eventually put her in a sort of holding cell in the basement, with one wall being highly reinforced plexiglass. Thurisaz regularly put her body through heavy abuse while trying to break out. Organic parts began failing, and were slowly replaced with machinery as the constant self-torture took its toll, and blood was replaced with electrical circuits. Thurisaz ripped her own eyes out eventually, no longer wanting to see what she was becoming, but those were soon replaced, and she was given new skin along with new eyes. White eyes and white skin, and even a new head of synthetic hair. Aesthetically, she looked fine, but it did not change the fact that her rage could seemingly never be subdued by now. Her parents only took her out for check-ups when Thurisaz had worn herself out, as she tended to do. One day when her parents let her out for a check-up, albeit extremely restrained as usual, she used all her might and focus to break out. She then proceeded to murder her parents as slowly and brutally as she could. She ascended to the ground floor of the house. Her brothers, having barely seen her since her attempted suicide, only managed to recognize her from the brief descriptions their parents had given them, depending on when they made visible changes to her. Upon seeing her brothers, she collapsed to her hands and knees, sobbing and crying nonexistent tears. They knew she would not hurt them, though they had an idea of what she had done because of what they had heard from the basement - the blood that covered her in dark red splotches and dripped from her hands proved it. She reached out to them, and they brought her to her feet, then hugged her for a short while. Thurisaz broke the embrace, backing away from them, telling them that she loved them, then threw herself out of the window that was behind her. She rolled then ran, away from the house and the only two people she still felt anything for.
She later enlisted in the Earth International Armed Forces after serving with the United States Marines. Thurisaz underwent upgrades to enhance her performance, ensuring her place would stay. She then came to realize she would no longer list herself as a cyborg, but as a complete robot unit. Thurisaz renamed herself, taking the name of the rune of destruction after hearing of it; she didn't remember what she had originally been named at birth, and so became the "Thurisaz Heavy Combat Unit" with the number denoting every major upgrade she had gone through.
As she has now become a formidable cybernetic being, she does not plan for any more upgrades any time soon, as everything currently equipped and built in has served her well. Thurisaz HC-U_144.000 now roams free on Earth, and sometimes travels through the galaxy, and has visited several other planets as well.
