[History of Lucas "Light"]

(Mostly abridged!)


+The Lotus Petal

Lucas' earliest recollection was of a Guild he had once been a part of. This Guild was home to many beings who's powers and abilities were undefined. It was home to those who wandered and were lost on their own path. As far as Lucas knows, the Lotus Petal was the beginning of everything for him. Perhaps this was where he became self-aware of who he really was. His journey would start here and as all good adventures start he would be accompanied by good friends.

Joseph, a Seraphim had gotten close with Lucas and the two of them would become great friends. Joseph had been cast away from his Heavenly realm for loving a Vampire and he was on a journey to reconnect with his lost love. He and Lucas would occasionally journey Gaia's surface in search for her but with little luck.

The Lotus Petal sent its members on various missions to combat against the supernatural, the chaotic, and the unknown. It was a means to not only develop their members but it was also a way of self-discovery. Coincidentally, one of their missions coincided with Joseph's quest. Without hesitating Lucas and Joseph set out once more on a fateful endeavor.

The two had found themselves in a small village, standing before a Cathedral. Although Joseph had known about his obvious angelic heritage, Lucas would soon discover his own as they both encountered a powerful Celestial.

Fallen from grace, this Celestial wielded white hot fire to purify the damned and blazing black flames to incinerate the holy. The Cathedral had been housing a cultist group that worshiped Vampiric entities over the Divine. Engulfing the church in White Fire, Lucas and Joseph would combat the Celestial. It wouldn't take long to realize that Lucas was unaffected by the "holy fire". In a last attempt to take both Lucas and Joseph out, the Celestial summoned his black fire to consume them both.

In a selfless sacrifice, Joseph had leaped in front of the flames to shield Lucas. Before Lucas could stand to fight on, the Celestial had vanished to let two Lotus Petal members burn alive under a collapsing Cathedral. With Joseph's last breath, he told Lucas to take the [Unlucky Coin] and follow his own path.

The Coin would be a constant reminder that any one person was in control of their own fate. Lucas was taught not to rely on luck and turn unfortunate situations to his favor. It would also be a constant reminder of the sacrifice his friend had made...

Years had passed and Lucas was in search of his purpose. His vendetta against Angels had grown by each day yet he still felt hopeless. Who in their right mind would challenge all of Heaven? Especially one who barely knew about himself. He would ponder these questions until he discovered a mystical forest.

As it stood, he was in fact trespassing on the grounds of a powerful Mage. Magdelena was not inviting to strangers, especially those who wandered into her presence without purpose. Yet as Fate would have it, "Maggie" saw potential in Lucas...

Lucas had recently worked on a mission with Inferno prior to being summoned to the HvHverse. On Earth he encountered the group Cruxis, composed of Inferno, David, Arc, and Raphael. Morik who was once a member had gone missing and Lucas had offered to help hunt him down.

For this brief time Lucas was in fact affiliated with Cruxis. After the hunt, Lucas has been sent to Heaven to oversee the battle between Inferno and Raphael, the last climatic battle of all realms that caught up Heaven and Hell in its destruction. Lucas would label himself as Heaven's Vigilante, deciding to stand with Heaven to keep all realms safe. He would find himself standing against many foes and in some cases former comrades.

The final gambit had come and Lucas was on his way to assist Heaven's King, Kite and Inferno's final fight. Stopped by Cruxis' David, Lucas had arrived too late. As he carried Kite's body back to his Kingdom, the Council had decided to temporarily make Lucas their King.

Lucas would visit with Oni, the Ruler of Hell to form a peace treaty so that Heaven and Hell could properly rebuild themselves. In this time, Lucas would secure his position on the throne, establishing himself as Heaven's official new King. He would summon his closest allies to aid him into rebuilding Heaven, bringing Kira, Wyndom, and Raven as his Vanguards.

Heaven and Hell's defenses were so weakened however that Chaos demons started to invade both realms. Darkness had started to corrupt and engulf Heaven. Demonic agents of Chaos manipulated Realm Guardians such as Rogziel and Kushiel to bring more discord and destruction.

Lucas would summon more of his allies, including Oni to combat the growing darkness. Successfully, driving away the Chaos, Oni and Lucas would prepare themselves to finish the fight with Cruxis who had been waiting patiently to strike back. The fateful battle would be between the two new rulers of Heaven and Hell against older rulers, ones who had taken matters into their own hands, Inferno and Raphael.

Opening the Abyss to seal way Inferno and Raphael, Lucas and Oni put an end to Cruxis' influence and their path of "liberation". Heaven and Hell would be safe for 500 years until Lucas was notified that time between Heaven and Earth was fluctuating...

- Cascade: A strong jet of water sprays from the enchanted. Can be summoned at will.

- Wisp: A weak, continuous stream of air flows from the enchanted.
- Howl: A strong current of wind streams from the enchanted. Can be summoned at will.
- Jet: A highly powerful current of wind streams from the enchanted, can be summoned at will, and gives the enchanted the ability to levitate.
- Tempest: Winds at their most powerful can be summoned at will. The ability to fly is gained from whomever is in possession of the enchantment and the temporary ability to turn the user's body OR aura invisible.
[Of Earth]
- Dust: A solid but weak stone shell encases the enchanted. Can regenerate after time.
- Stone: A strong, stone shell encases the enchanted but decreases the users speed.
- Jewel: A highly dense, shell of precious ore encases the enchanted, summoned at will but will greatly decreases speed, granting strong immunity to fire and wind.
- Core: A nearly unbreakable shell of ores and minerals encases what/whomever is in possession of the enchanted, summoned by will, greatly reducing speed, granting moderately strong immunity to all elements, and the ability to raise up stone pillars from the ground.
[Of Lightning]
- Spark: A continuous splash of electricity sparks off of the enchanted.
- Burst: A bolt of electricity can be discharged from the enchanted, summoned at will.

- Frost: Heat slowly fades away from the area of the enchanted.
- Sleet: Heat steadily fades away from the area at will, weak forms of ice can be summoned at will.

- Forge: Any steel based object is able to change form at will.

- Flourish: Surrounding plant life can be manipulated to grow.
- Ingrain: The enchanted is able to sap small amount of life from a living being with a touch at will.
- Uproot: The enchanted is able to negate abilities that heal with a touch at will.
- Overgrow: Strong, thick, thorned Vines or roots can be summoned to whip and lash opponents at will, Weaker water and heat/flame attacks replenish small amounts of energy.

Naya summons four statues to surround a target area. Whatever gets caught in the perimeters is unable to increase the potency of their energy or transform. The statues are destroyable.

[Magical Spear]
A wooden staff, wrapped in leather, the spear is made of a chunk of an unknown ore. This ore radiates magical energy and is most likely the main source of Naya's power. The ore is pointed and jagged enough to pierce into someone's flesh if not heavily armored or abnormally sturdy.

Name: Grants, "Eternal Blade"
Race: Celestial
Age: Appears as aged as a human male in their mid-twenties. However he is several thousand years old.
Allegiance & Rank: Heaven- General and Guild Master of St. Anne
Abilities and Powers: His Celestial energy can manifest into swords as well as increase the cutting edge of his weapon. His physical capabilities are notably higher than average Celestial warriors, most prominent being his speed.
Equipment: A white edged sword, forged within Heaven's fires.

Bio: As a Guild Master for St. Anne's Warrior's Guild, Grants personally teaches and trains many of Heaven's higher skilled warriors. Having briefly intervened with the Crisis of Heaven, Grants' skills have shown to be on par with Lucas' own Vanguards. Having access to St. Anne's throne room, Grants' abilities have been recognized by the Council, as he is a well regarded Celestial throughout Heaven.
